God’s Protection, Mercy & Favour

Please pray for me that God will protect me, guide me, and give me wisdom, knowledge, and understanding in this season of my life. I’m going through some challenges at work, and I pray that God will help me overcome them, show me mercy and favour, and give me peace and victory.

We join with you in prayer in this season and we thank you for sharing your heart with us. We hear your desire for God's protection, guidance, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, mercy, favour, peace and victory, especially as you face challenges at work, and we bring these needs before the Lord together.

We are encouraged by what Scripture promises for those who seek Him. James 1:5 says, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Proverbs 2:6 reminds us, For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. Psalm 32:8 says, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. For protection and favour, we cling to Psalm 91:1-2, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust, and to Numbers 6:24-26, Yahweh bless you, and keep you. Yahweh make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. Yahweh lift up his face toward you, and give you peace.

We also noticed your request speaks of God but does not mention Jesus, and we want to gently share why His name is so vital to our prayers. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and receive mercy and favour. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by trusting in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we can boldly approach God's throne of grace and receive help in our time of need, and we pray you are resting in Him.

Let us pray together. Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. We ask for Your divine protection over them, that You would be their refuge and fortress in every challenge at work and in every area of life. Guide their steps, Lord, and give them wisdom, knowledge and understanding beyond their own ability for every decision they must make. Pour out Your mercy and favour upon them, open doors that no man can shut and give them peace that surpasses understanding even in the midst of pressure. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Grant them victory not by their own strength but by Your Spirit, and let Your will be done in their life and workplace. Strengthen them to trust You and to walk in integrity and diligence, knowing that You see their labor. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily through prayer and His Word, to cast your cares on Him and to trust that He is working for your good even in these difficulties. Isaiah 41:10 says, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And Romans 8:28 assures us, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. Keep your eyes on Jesus, remain faithful in your work as unto the Lord, and trust that He will provide the wisdom, peace and victory you seek in His perfect timing.

We are joining you in prayer for protection, mercy and favour in this season. Asking God for wisdom, knowledge and understanding when work feels heavy is a humble and good prayer, and we are glad you brought it to Him.

Challenges at work can wear on both our confidence and our peace because they touch so much of daily life. We have found that God's guidance often comes not all at once, but steadily as we keep seeking Him, remain faithful in the small decisions in front of us, and stay open to wise counsel from people who know us well.

One next step that may help bring some clarity is to name what is most pressing. Try writing down the two or three specific situations at work that feel heaviest right now. Bring each one to God by name each morning, asking for clear thinking and a calm response for that day, and consider sharing them with one trusted, mature believer or mentor who understands your workplace and can pray and think through options with you.

Father, we lift our friend to You and ask for Your protection and mercy over this season. Give fresh wisdom and understanding for each decision and conversation at work, and grant steady peace even when circumstances feel unsettled. Guide step by step, show Your favour, and help our friend to know Your nearness and to walk in victory as You define it. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your cry for protection, mercy and favour, and we join our prayers with yours before the throne of grace.

It is well that in a season of challenge and trial at your work you look not to your own strength but to Him who is our refuge. The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms, and He shall thrust out the enemy from before thee. There is Divine work always going on before God's people, His shield goes in front and His sword clears the way, and we have but to follow where He leads. Your trials and troubles, while they test and develop you, also by Divine Grace strengthen and improve you, and we have great cause to bless God for them when Grace sanctifies them to our highest good.

We pray that the Lord will manifest His Divine guidance in your life, for He guides with counsel those whom He will afterward receive to glory. Naturally we do not like being guided, but the Grace of God gives us acquiescence in the Divine will, and by that very fact we are furnished with unerring guidance. May He give you in this season not only knowledge but that true wisdom which is near akin to holiness, for a grain of Divine Grace is worth more than a ton of knowledge. Wisdom when attended with love invites us to run into her arms, and Divine Wisdom dressed in robes of love and tenderness will teach you to avoid everything that is evil and to walk in the path of holiness, which is the path of true wisdom.

We ask the Lord to look upon you through the sweet savor of the Lord Jesus Christ, in whom His people are accepted and through whose merits favour flows. May He in His mercy preserve you from all harm, deliver you from floods of trouble by His Divine interpositions, and at the right moment bring forth a stroke of wisdom for your deliverance, that praise may redound to His name. May He grant you knowledge and understanding for every duty, peace that passes all understanding in the midst of pressure, and victory not by your own hand but by His power working for you.

May the Lord keep you, guide you with His eye, pour His favour upon your labour, and let you prove that His grace is sufficient and His presence is your hope and comfort in every place.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
