God's healing and favor

Hello, thank you for taking the time to pray for me. I have an important doctor’s appointment Wednesday and am praying for favorable news. I need favor and help from God. Im in my early ###’s and almost died needing extreme surgery. Pray I get to see the healing and good God is bringing. God bless you!

We are joining with you in prayer for this important doctor's appointment on Wednesday and we thank you for sharing this burden with us. We can hear how much you have been through, facing extreme surgery and nearly losing your life at such a young age, and we understand why you are longing to see God's healing and favor so clearly. We are asking God to be near to you with His peace and presence as you wait.

We take comfort in what Scripture tells us about our God as our healer and our help. Jeremiah 30:17 says, But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us to Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Isaiah 41:10 gives us strength for fearful moments, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We also hold onto Philippians 4:6-7 which says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Whatever the report on Wednesday, we pray you will feel that peace guarding your heart and that you will see God's good hand at work, for Romans 8:28 assures us that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

We did notice that your request speaks of God and His help but does not mention Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To be saved we must believe in our hearts that Jesus is Lord, that He died for our sins and that God raised Him from the dead, as Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We pray that you know Jesus as your Savior and Lord personally, for it is in His name and by His blood that we can boldly bring our prayers for healing and favor before God.

We now pray together for you.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the trauma of nearly dying and the difficult surgery that was endured, and You know the anxiety leading up to Wednesday. We ask for Your healing touch upon this body, for complete restoration according to Your will, and for Your favor to rest upon this appointment. Give wisdom and discernment to the doctors and medical team, guide their eyes and their decisions, and let the results bring encouragement and hope. We pray that You would make Your healing and Your goodness unmistakable in this life, that this testimony would bring glory to You. Fill this heart with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding, cast out all fear, and help this dear one to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding. We ask all of this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only hope, amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking Him in prayer and in His Word while you wait, trusting that whether His answer is immediate healing or continued walking with Him through recovery, He is faithful and He loves you deeply. We are standing with you believing for favorable news and for a clear display of His mercy and power in your life.

Thank you for trusting us with this. Facing a big appointment after nearly losing your life and going through extreme surgery in your early thirties is a lot to carry, and it makes sense you would feel both hopeful and anxious as Wednesday approaches.

We are praying with you for clear answers, for wisdom for your doctors, and for you to be able to see God's kindness and care at work even in the waiting.

A couple of small things that have helped others before an important visit: write down your top two or three questions tonight while you are calm, bring someone you trust to listen and take notes with you, and ask the doctor to explain anything that feels unclear before you leave. It can be hard to remember details when nerves are high and having that support helps. Keep following your medical team's guidance alongside prayer.

We are with you in this. We are grateful for your life and the courage it has taken to get to this point, and we will keep holding you in prayer beyond Wednesday.

Father, we lift our friend to You as Wednesday nears. Calm their heart, guide their doctors with wisdom, and show Your goodness and healing in the days ahead. Give them peace and clear next steps, whatever the news brings. In Jesus' name, amen.

Thank you for sharing your burden with us and allowing us to bear it with you before the throne of grace. We have lifted you up in prayer for your appointment on Wednesday, asking the Lord to grant you favorable news and to make His healing power known in your body.

We are mindful that you have passed through a great trial, brought near to death and through extreme surgery in your early thirties, and we praise God that He has spared you. It is our prayer that you will indeed live to see and testify to the healing and the good that He is bringing, for our God is a generous Lawgiver and a gracious Healer who takes care even of the little things belonging to His people.

Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations, to show that even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue, and that the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, and the costly balm of His atonement has lost none of its power. The power of the Lord is still present to heal, and none can set a limit to the healing flood of His love. We pray that this Divine Healer will be very near to you in that examination room, that He will guide the hands and minds of those who care for you, and that He will grant wisdom, clarity and peace.

We also pray for Divine favor to rest upon you. When the Lord turns in a way of grace to His people, He comes most heartily to display His favor and His love toward the objects of His choice, and we ask that you would know that acceptance which comes through the sweet savor of the Lord Jesus Christ. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction in the gospel, and from a pardoning God such mercies flow that weak hearts are made to revive. May you know both pardon and healing through our Lord Jesus, and may your spirits be sustained by Divine grace whatever the report may be.

We ask the Lord to thrust out fear before you and to give you quiet confidence as you follow where He leads. May He strengthen and improve you through this trial and sanctify it to your highest good, and may you be given new strength to trust His Word as infallibly true and His will as altogether good.

We will continue to pray that Wednesday brings an encouraging report, that your recovery will go forward step by step, and that you will have many days to declare the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may you find your whole trust in Christ, who alone is our salvation and our hope.
