God please help me God i need to get good name not bad please God today no problem should happen please God

We hear your heart’s cry for a good name and protection from trouble, and we stand with you in prayer before the throne of grace. The Bible tells us, "A good name is more desirable than great riches, and loving favor is better than silver and gold" (Proverbs 22:1 WEB). Your desire for a reputation that honors God is a righteous one, and we believe He hears you.

First, we must address the way we approach God. While your plea is earnest, we must come to Him in the name of Jesus Christ, for Scripture declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB). Jesus is the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5), and it is through His sacrifice that we have access to the Father. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today, confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive Him as your Lord and Savior. Without this foundation, our prayers cannot be fully aligned with God’s will.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this dear one who seeks a good name and protection from harm. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and we ask that You would cleanse them of anything that might bring reproach. Purify their motives, their words, and their actions so that they may reflect Your holiness. Guard them from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to tarnish their reputation and bring them into bondage. Father, we rebuke any spirit of shame, accusation, or slander in Jesus’ name. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We pray that You would establish them in integrity, wisdom, and grace. May their life be a testimony to Your goodness, and may their name be associated with righteousness, kindness, and truth. Where they have been misunderstood or wronged, we ask for Your vindication. Where they have stumbled, we ask for Your forgiveness and restoration. Help them to walk in humility, for "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6 WEB). May they seek Your approval above all else, knowing that a name built on Your foundation will never be shaken.

Lord, we also ask that You would shield them from trouble today and every day. Surround them with Your angels, and let Your peace rule in their heart. If there are areas of their life that are not aligned with Your Word, whether in thought, word, or deed, we ask that You convict them gently and lead them into repentance. Help them to live in a way that brings glory to Your name, for "as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all of your behavior" (1 Peter 1:15 WEB).

We declare over them the promise of Your Word: "The Lord will perfect that which concerns you; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever" (Psalm 138:8 WEB). May they trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). Strengthen their faith, and let them experience Your faithfulness in every area of their life.

In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, we encourage you to walk closely with the Lord, seeking His will above all else. A good name is not merely about avoiding trouble but about living a life that honors God in every way. If there are areas where you have fallen short, whether in speech, actions, or relationships, confess them to the Lord, for "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). Surround yourself with godly influences, immerse yourself in Scripture, and let the Holy Spirit guide you into all truth.

Remember, "The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to Him and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10 WEB). Run to Him today, and let Him be your refuge. If you have not yet made Jesus the Lord of your life, we urge you to do so now. He is the only way to true peace, protection, and a name that lasts for eternity.

We hear the desperate tone in your words, and we want you to know you’re not alone in this. It’s exhausting to wake up carrying a heavy dread that something might go wrong, that your reputation might be bruised, that the day could unravel. You’re reaching out to God with everything you have right now, and that takes honesty and courage. We’ve seen that the simple act of crying out, even when it’s messy and anxious, is a prayer God always welcomes.

When we can’t control what others think or what happens next, we can still lean into the steady truth that God sees us fully, loves us deeply, and holds our identity secure. He doesn’t need us to manage every outcome or perform perfectly. Right now, He’s with you in this moment, not just up ahead in the day. One thing that helps frame a frantic morning is to pause, take a slow breath, and remind yourself: “God is present. I can face whatever comes with His help.” It’s not a magic formula, but it quietly anchors the heart when anxiety shouts the loudest.

We’re joining our prayers with yours.

Lord Jesus, you know the weight pressing on this precious person right now. They’re afraid of failure and of what harm today might bring. Wrap them in your peace that doesn’t make sense but still calms the storm inside. Guard their name and guide their steps, not because they’ve earned it, but because you are gracious. Help them sense your nearness and catch glimpses of your goodness even in small moments. We ask this in your strong and compassionate name. Amen.

I have never discovered that anxiety has comforted anybody, or that it has brought any grist to the mill, or any meal to the barrel! Well, if a thing does not pay, what is the good of it? Are you not dishonoring His holy name by such conduct as that? And what are you doing, good Friend, to bring about that result? Are you telling the Lord about it and agonizing before Him in prayer? That is right, but if you are telling yourself about it and your anxiety is confined to yourself, no good will come of that. Do you not think that the Lord can help you to help it and that your faith in Him, if it were what it ought to be, would soon be the end of your distress and trouble?

Consider what your obligations are! You are a Believer in Christ and therefore you are rightly called a Christian, you cannot escape from it. By being a believer in Christ's name, you have Christ's name named upon you. We call before us those who are Christians and we say, "What is your name? You are named with the name of Christ, therefore you must give up being covetous. You must give up being bad-tempered, worldly, slothful, lustful, or else you must give up Christ's name, for we cannot have Christ's name dishonored." No defense is needed for a good man who can say, "By the Grace of God I am what I am." Therefore you may leave that matter of your own character.

"A Christian man is never long at ease, When one trouble's gone, another does him seize." God soon sends him a trouble. His name was made to stink among all the tribes. He has got out of one trouble, but he has got into another. Yet God is permitting that to happen for your good. The bitter medicines you have to take are nauseous to you, but they are to work together with other things for your good, therefore, be of good cheer! The next piece of good news is that Jesus is pleading for you. Jesus has your name upon His breastplate, yes, engraved on the palms of His hands. You are not forgotten of Him! Is not that good news?

"I fear," says another friend, "that I shall have trouble as soon as I return home. I am afraid I shall hear some very bad news." Yes, He is inconceivably, unutterably, boundlessly good, let His name be praised and magnified forever! If I cannot rejoice in earthly good things, I will rejoice in the highest good, even in God, who is Goodness itself. His name shall endure for ever. The religion sanctified by his name shall endure for ever. The honor of his name shall endure for ever. The saving, comforting power of his name shall endure for ever. Let my name perish; let Christ’s name last for ever. His name shall be called Wonderful. I wondered that he should be so good to me, and I wondered more that I should have been so ungrateful to him. Nothing is a good work unless it is done with a good motive; and there is no motive which can be said to be good but the glory of God. Let your many fruits be laid up only for your Beloved, bring them forth when He is with you, bless His name for them. Expressive silence muse His praise. Sit still and meditate on all the Lord's goodness to you and so keep out all sadness while you bless His holy name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

writer of this prayer. Thank You Jesus. Amen.

What you call a good name, consider deeply. Do you seek a name that sounds sweet on the lips of men, a reputation without trouble? Yet silver and gold have I none, as the blessed Peter said, and this very poverty procured him heaven. The name that matters is not one carved in the fleeting praise of this world, but a name written in the book of life through a pure life and bright conversation. You pray for no problem to happen today, but if we cannot bear even the severity of words about discipline, how shall we stand firm against real affliction? The soul is a sort of wax; if you apply only soft and easy things, you harden it. Fearful discourses make it sober. Do not seek a day empty of all trial, seek a heart that, having done good, fears not. For if your trust is in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, though you suffer ten thousand horrors, you fear no one. Let us then manifest all eagerness not to mar the right faith by the vileness of our actions. Ask, as He said, in that Name, not for a day without shadow, but for strength to become well-pleasing to Him. No happiness can be equal to this.

Your heart’s cry is heard. When you ask for a good name and a day without trouble, it comes from a deep place. You want things to go well, to be seen well, and to be spared the sharp edge of problems. That longing is real. But let’s follow that thread a little further and ask what God is doing, even in this moment.

A good reputation can be a wonderful thing. We look at the early church and see that when they needed people to serve, even in practical, daily tasks, they sought men of “good reputation, filled with the Holy Spirit and with wisdom.” That was a requirement even for work that didn’t seem outwardly spiritual, because character always matters. It is commendable when someone can live with their reputation intact. But there is also a subtle trap. You can start wanting the reputation more than the reality. You can begin living for the approval of others, carefully arranging your life so people notice goodness, rather than cultivating a secret life with the Father who sees in secret. Jesus warned about doing our acts of righteousness to be seen by men. The person who gets their reward that way has it already, it’s hollow. What God rewards is the quiet, hidden walk with him.

You cry out for no problem to happen today. That is a very human cry. But we are told not to think it strange concerning the fiery trials that come to test us, as though something bizarre were overtaking us. Life will have trials. The rain falls on the just and the unjust. What matters is not that we are exempt from trouble, but who is with us in the trouble. A problem-free day is a frail shelter; it can crumble in a phone call. A life anchored in God’s presence can stand when the storm hits.

Think of Joseph. He was a slave, then a prisoner. In those worst circumstances, the text doesn’t say he cried, “Let my reputation be salvaged and let this day be easy.” It says the Lord was with him and prospered him, even in the adverse situation. When he was daily pressured to sin, he didn’t lean on his reputation; he understood who he was before God and said, “How can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?” He was kept pure not by a painless environment, but by a clear sense of whose he was.

God often uses trials not to destroy our name, but to refine our character. The trial of your faith is compared to gold being tested by fire. Impurities burn away so that something genuine remains. You might look back on a hard season and, with the clarity of hindsight, see how he was nearer than you thought, drawing you closer to Jesus. Every testing that forces you to rely on him rather than your own control is, in truth, an instrument bringing you nearer to him.

So instead of starting your day begging for a problem-free path, try beginning with a different kind of prayer. “Father, your kingdom and your power and your glory are my foundation. Give me what I need for this day. And whether the road is smooth or rough, let my life be in your hands and let me walk in a moment-by-moment fellowship with you.” That is a daily, fresh relationship, where you give God a place not just when things are falling apart, but through every ordinary hour.

Your desire for a good name can be a holy thing if it means a name honored because Christ is seen in you. But it must lose its grip as a desperate need. Jesus, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, didn’t cling to a reputation. He humbled himself. And his name is now above every name. As you commit your life to him, your true standing is secure. When difficulties come, he will be your help and your unfailing sympathy. Rejoice, because the end of the road is not a test or a trial, it is seeing face to face the Lord you love.
