God, why have You abandoned me?

Himani2

Disciple of Prayer
Dear God,

I am angry with You today. I don’t understand why You keep making my life so difficult. I have prayed, waited, cried, and asked You again and again, but still nothing seems to change.

If You gave me this life, why have You allowed me to suffer so much? Why do You keep closing every door when all I want is a little happiness, love, peace, and a life partner?

I am hurt and tired of waiting. I feel forgotten by You. Today, I don’t want to hide my anger—I want You to hear it.

God, if You are listening, please show me that You have not abandoned me. Open a door for me and bring some happiness into my life.

I am angry with You, but I am still talking to You because somewhere inside me, I still hope You will hear me.

Amen.

We hear the honesty and pain in your words and we thank you for bringing it directly to God instead of turning away from Him. Your cry reminds us of David who also prayed, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me, Psalm 22:1, and How long, Yahweh? Will you forget me forever, Psalm 13:1. God is not offended by honest cries from a hurting heart. He invites us to pour out our hearts before Him, Psalm 62:8, and He draws near to those who do, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, Psalm 34:18.

We want to gently correct what your pain is telling you, because God has not abandoned you even when it feels that way. He has promised, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you, Hebrews 13:5, and Be strong and courageous. Yahweh your God is he who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you, Deuteronomy 31:6. Feelings of being forgotten are real, but they are not the truth of His presence. Even when every door seems closed, it does not mean He is closing His heart to you. His thoughts and ways are higher than ours, For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh, Isaiah 55:8-9, and we trust that He works all things together for good for those who love Him, Romans 8:28. Sometimes a closed door is His protection, sometimes it is His redirection, and sometimes it is His call to wait so that He can shape us and make us ready for what He has prepared. Count it all joy when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance, James 1:2-3.

We also hear your deep longing for happiness, love, peace, and a life partner. That desire for companionship is God given, and we pray with you for it in a way that honors Him. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman designed by God, and we pray not simply for a partner but for a godly spouse if it is His will for you, and for a courtship that leads to a Christ centered marriage built on purity and faith. Sex before or outside marriage is not part of His good design, and waiting, though painful, is part of trusting Him to give what is best in His timing. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11. Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage, Psalm 27:14. His steadfast love never ceases and His mercies are new every morning, Lamentations 3:22-23.

We noticed your prayer was addressed to God but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. God hears you because Jesus has opened the way through His death and resurrection. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, confess Him as Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation, Romans 10:9. It is in His name that our prayers are heard and our hope is secure.

We pray together for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift this precious one to You. You see the tears, the waiting, the anger and the hope that still remains. We ask You to reveal Yourself as near and faithful, to quiet the lie that You have abandoned them. Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7, and we ask You to carry every burden they have named. Comfort their broken heart, renew their strength as they wait on You, and give them Your peace that passes understanding. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest, Matthew 11:28. If it is Your will, open the right door in Your perfect timing, provide godly community and, in Your time, a godly spouse for a marriage that honors You. Above all, let them know they are fully heard, deeply loved, and never forsaken, and draw them closer to Jesus where true happiness and peace are found. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to keep talking to Him honestly every day, to stay in His Word, and to walk with other believers who can support you in prayer and help you discern His leading. He has not forgotten you, He is still writing your story, and the One who hears your anger is also the One who will sustain you through it.

Thank you for bringing your honest anger to God instead of turning away. We hear how tired and forgotten you feel after praying and waiting so long, and how much you long for peace, love, and companionship. The fact that you are still talking to Him, even while angry, matters. It shows a hope that has not let go.

Anger itself is not a failure in your faith. It is often a signal pointing to something deeper underneath, the hurt of past disappointments, the frustration of closed doors right now, and the fear about what the future will hold. Naming what is underneath can sometimes make the anger less overwhelming and help you bring the real pain to God more clearly.

We are praying that you would sense you have not been abandoned, even in this long waiting.

One gentle next step that often helps in a season like this is to not carry this alone. Keep telling God exactly what you feel, just as you did here, and consider sharing these same honest words with one trusted pastor or mature believer who can listen without rushing to fix, and staying connected to worship with God's people when you can, even when you feel lonely there. Being with others does not remove the ache, but it can remind you that you are not forgotten.

Father, we lift this dear one to You in Jesus' name. You see the tears, the waiting, and the longing for love and peace. Draw near and let Your presence be felt in a personal way. Give comfort for the hurt, wisdom for each closed door, and strength to keep hoping in You. Amen.

God has not forgotten us but we have forgotten him when we watch endless TV or play games or go to work or do this thing and that thing but don't stop to make time for him. To think about him. To give thanks. And to make it a daily habit to pray and worship him.

May heavenly Father God answer your cries today with some peace and comfort and when you have peace and comfort ypu know it's him bevause you asked him for love. May heavenly Father look at your afflcitions today and grant you some rest. We pray heavenly Father. Its not a matter or question whether you exist, it's only that in the times of need and hunger when we are desperate that we turn to you. And we have to. He has put the bridle in our mouths and had directed us to him. We must make the daily habit of prayer and worship stick and be weary about the influences of the world. That's true for me. But whatever things he's doing with you is completely rare abd unique to he and you. I know that he will do sowmthing great with you. That's really why we struggle after all because he does love us and he wants what's better for us eternally and not just in the short term happines. So you see we crave comfort and peace now but God wants us to be togeyher with him in heaven.

May God supply all your needs in Christ Yeshua his son whom we firmly believe to be the Christ messiah who's authority without question is the greatest authority on Earth of any religion faith or spirituality making all other firms of spirituality null. In the east they pra ticr spiritual disciplines and this is virtuous but they have not a relationship with God the son. In the west the monks and Christians practice also spiritual discipline and have a relationship with God. Which is better? For some a relationship with Father God is not abour discipline yet. This is the open invitation of God's love for all people who are called toward him young and old. Addicted or not. Impoverished or well off.

May God have the glory not me. What is my understanding that I should exersize myself unless it is directly related to God. The gospel of Christ or how great God is. And we, we could die today. Tomorow. We could die next week. All the better we could be with God right now instead of later but God needs us to be equipped and praying and ready to take on the task of winning other souls to the kingdom of God. Is it better for us to die now prematurely or to bare much fruit? Wothout him we can do nothing. May Christ abound in us that we are able to bare this fruit.

Thank you Father for forgiving us our sins. Even sins we cannot control but are actively fighting like lust. I must confess though I'm not offending chastity in my heart I am driven to offend chastity and the holy spirit which is love. To abstain and refrain ones self from lust is to practie love. Real true love is to preserve. To protect the ones you care about from harming them. To resist the urge to act on your own impulses. Self sacrificial love is giving up a life of worldly pleasure to take on poverty and humility to walk humbly with the Lord our God and I repeat again for myself that chastity is love and being gentle and kind to woman is important for me as someone who did offend the holy spirit because of lust. Thank you God for letting me write today. And say prayers today. And have work today. And have rest today. And whatever isn't within my control let me abstain and worship and do well. To do thy will oh God.

Lord Yeshuas name. Amen.

Your honest and anguished prayer has been heard, and there is grace in the very fact that though you are angry you are still talking to God. It is far better to pour out your heart before Him as you have done than to turn away from Him in silence. The Lord desires truth in the inward parts, and He would have you make known your requests and even your griefs and desires unto Him. To come to Him with an open heart, confessing as you have that you are hurt and tired and feel forgotten, is not hidden from Him, for He already knows and observes desires toward Himself, even when they come mingled with tears and questioning.

You feel that God has abandoned you and has closed every door, but the testimony of Scripture is that God has not abandoned His people. Though you have waited long, He is a waiting God, waiting that He may be gracious unto you. All this while He has been passing by rejections and blotting out sin, waiting to show mercy. The doors which seem closed to you are not proof that He has forgotten you. He sees you, He knows your suffering, and He is near to those who cry unto Him. Your feeling of distance does not measure His faithfulness, for He is light and in Him is no darkness at all, and He does not change.

You have asked why He allows suffering and why happiness and love and peace seem withheld. The holy art which the believer must learn is waiting only upon God. Blessed are all they that wait for Him. That waiting is not looking to the arm of flesh nor to the changeable creature for fulfillment, but making God Himself the summit of your desires and the object of your expectation. My soul, wait thou only upon God, for my expectation is from Him. When the heart says this, it learns to cast all its care upon Him because He cares for you, and to make its great concern to love and serve Him while trusting Him for all else.

Know this also, that desires toward God are graciously observed by Him. Your longing for peace, for love, for a life partner, for a little happiness, is all before Him. Not one sigh or tear is overlooked. Such earnest desires, when directed toward God, are themselves a sign that His Spirit is at work in you. He does not despise a broken and honest heart, but He blesses those who hunger and thirst.

If you would have true peace, you must have it first in reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ alone. There is no other way of salvation, and no other foundation for lasting joy. He has given His dear Son to be the way of life for sinners, and through His blood there is forgiveness and adoption. Cast yourself wholly upon Christ, trusting Him not only to hear your prayer but to redeem your life and plead the causes of your soul. Then, whether doors open or remain closed for a season, you will have God Himself, and a better world to look for, and grace to live in this world with God in it.

Concerning your longing for a life partner, that desire for love and companionship is natural and good when it is brought under God's ordering. The Lord's good gift of marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and love and living together belong within that covenant in purity and faithfulness. It is right to ask God for such a gift, but it is also right to ask Him to give it only as it will honor Him and be for your true good, and to give you grace to wait for His provision in holiness and patience, not seeking happiness outside His way. Pray not only for a door to be opened, but for grace to walk through the door He opens in His time, and to be content to wait while He prepares both you and what is best for you.

May the Lord now show you that you are not forgotten. May He lift the sense of abandonment and give you to know His presence, to trust His everlasting strength, and to wait expectantly upon Him. We pray that He will comfort your hurt, quiet your anger with His love, forgive your sins for Christ's sake, teach you to wait only upon Him, and in His perfect wisdom and timing grant you peace and, if it be His gracious will, a godly marriage that reflects His covenant love. And may He keep you close to Himself and to His people while you wait, that your hope may be in Him alone.

Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your honesty in bringing your anger directly to God is itself a sign that hope is still alive in you, and it is also a sign that He has not abandoned you. The fact that you are still talking to Him, even with a wounded and tired heart, shows that His grace is still at work in you, keeping the door of prayer open when every other door feels closed.

It is not wrong to feel sorrow or even anger when you suffer and wait. The Scriptures are full of prayers where faithful people tell God exactly how heavy their hearts feel. God hears that cry. He is not distant or deaf to it. His love for you is not measured by how quickly He answers as you wish, but by what He has already done for you in Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to God. By His will, not by our worthiness, we are called and saved, and nothing can separate those who belong to Christ from His love.

When every door seems closed, it is natural to feel forgotten, but a closed door is not proof that God has forgotten you. Often it is His protection, His timing, or His call to draw nearer to Him first. Peace and happiness are not found only in getting what we desire when we desire it, but in being at peace with God and walking in holiness before Him. That holiness includes a chaste and ordered life, whether married or unmarried. Marriage itself is honorable and pure when it is lived as God designed it, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and it preserves holiness by keeping love and union within that covenant. Living together or sharing sexual union outside that covenant does not lead to the peace you long for, but away from it.

So I encourage you to keep doing what you are doing now, but with a humble and patient heart. Write your struggles and your sins honestly before God as in a book, confess them, and ask Him to blot them out above. Seek His grace through lowliness of mind, through continual prayer, through His Word, and through fellowship with His people. Ask Him not only to change your circumstances, but to shape your heart to trust His will, which is always good even when it is not yet understood.

I pray for you that God will lift the weight you feel, comfort you in your waiting, and give you true peace that comes from knowing Christ. If it is His will, may He in His perfect time bring into your life a faithful partner for a godly marriage that honors Him, and until then may He be your strength and your portion each day. He has not left you. Keep seeking Him, keep talking to Him, and trust that He who hears your anger will also answer with mercy.
