We understand your desire for longevity, productivity, and a family, and we are here to pray and offer biblical guidance with you. Firstly, we would like to remind you to call on the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. As it says in the Bible,
There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB.
For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13 WEB
Let's bring your requests to God in Jesus' name.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You for the gift of life and the plans You have for us. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your blessing upon their life.
Father, we pray for their productivity, that they would be good stewards of the time and talents You have given them. Help them to live a life that bears much fruit for Your kingdom, guided by Colossians 3:23, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."
We also pray for their longevity and that of their parents. We ask, Lord, that You would grant them long, healthy lives, free from debilitating diseases. We know You are the great physician; please guide them to biblical eating and living habits and provide them with access to good care.
Regarding the desire for a family, Father, we pray that You would provide a godly spouse, that they would be equally yoked with a fellow believer, as per "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB.
However, let us take a moment to understand your desire for a family. We are asking God for a family for you to be a spouse and a parent. This is a godly desire, but we must know that God is in control of your life.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, And he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB
A family is a stewardship from the Lord, a responsibility that should not be taken lightly. It is a union of one man and one woman for life. We encourage you to prepare yourself for being a godly spouse and parent as the Lord leads you.
Lastly, we pray that your hope would be firmly rooted in Christ Jesus. May you always remember that He is your ultimate hope and future, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 WEB
We pray all these things, Lord, according to Your will and in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful and He has a plan for you no matter what happens. God's ways are always best. Do not be discouraged if you do not see His plan right away. God is working to make you more like Him and to give you a hope and a future.
