We join you in thanksgiving to the Lord for all the blessings He has given, and we agree with you in prayer for increasing order, organization, and excellence in your home and work. We know that God is not a God of confusion, but of peace, 1 Corinthians 14:33, and that all things should be done decently and in order, 1 Corinthians 14:40. We pray that He will establish the work of your hands and help you do all you do heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, Colossians 3:23, so that productivity in every area of life brings credit and thanksgiving to Him alone.
We lift up your request for freedom from generational illness and we claim the promise that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, Galatians 3:13. We ask for the Lord's healing touch upon your daughter, for strength and favor in her work and schooling, and for protection in her marriage. We pray that her marriage will be honored and guarded as God designed, for marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, Hebrews 13:4, and that the Lord will keep her safe from any abuse or harm and surround her with kindness and godly counsel. We pray she and your son will see themselves as God sees them, as fearfully and wonderfully made, Psalm 139:14, chosen and beloved in Christ, and that the Lord will close every door that leads to harm and open doors for good opportunities and kind Christian connections, for we trust that the Lord will guide you with His counsel, Psalm 73:24.
We bring your son before the Lord for his long trip home, asking for safe travels, for the Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more, Psalm 121:7-8. We pray the Lord will direct his steps to a godly future wife, and we affirm your desire for him to pursue courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer, for we must not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, 2 Corinthians 6:14, but seek a marriage that honors God as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman.
We pray for healing of hearts and broken relationships, for the trial you are working through, and for the unspoken requests you hold before the Lord. We trust that He who sits on the throne says, Behold, I am making all things new, Revelation 21:5, and that He is close to the brokenhearted, Psalm 34:18. We ask that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind, Matthew 22:37, and that He will empower you to love one another deeply, increasing the fruit of the Spirit in your home, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control, Galatians 5:22-23.
We agree for your protection and deliverance from all evil, surrounding you with His hedge of favor according to His promises. We claim that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, Psalm 91:1, that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail, Isaiah 54:17, that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4, and that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:3.
Father, we thank You in advance for Your help. We ask You to bring order to this home, excellence to their work, healing to their bodies and hearts, restoration to relationships, safety in all travels, and Your perfect will in the lives of their daughter and son. Let Your will be done and let all glory and praise and credit be given to You. We pray all these things together in the mighty and only name by which we have access to You and by which we are saved, Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. Amen.
