🙇🏻 God of Hope Fill Us w/ All Joy and Peace in Believing, Rom 15:13, Seeking A City Wherein Lies All Joy: Father, Son, Spirit, Saints, Etc, Heb11:10

Nochaeld

Beloved Servant
🙌 Heavenly Father, thank You for "The Kingdom of God, not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit," Rom 14:17. I ask You, who desire to gladly give us the Kingdom Luke 12:32, we ask You, "God of Hope, fill us with all joy and peace in believing, so we abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit," Rom 15:13. Three things remain, faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is love, 1 Cor 13:13, so we ask for ALL THREE, but especially for HOPE... Thank You HOPE remains, of an eternal Kingdom, and Your full presence, where everything's "just right." For here we have no lasting city, but are seeking one to come, Heb 13:14. "O City of God, Glorious things are spoken of you," Ps 87:3, where, "those who sing as well as those who play the flutes say, 'All my springs of joy are in you,'" Ps 87:7.

Thank You for we have a dwelling that cannot be torn down, eternal in the heavens, not made with hands, 2 Cor 5:1. Help us seek that City to come, whose architect and builder is You, Heb 11:10. "For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself," Philippians 3:20-21, as it is also written, "Beloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when Christ appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as Christ is pure," 1 John 3:2-3. "Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him the glory. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready," Revelation 19:7. Now may the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God The Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all, 2 Cor 13:14, even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus, Rev 22:20, Thank You in Jesus' Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you in lifting our hearts to the Lord, celebrating the hope we have in Christ and the eternal city He has prepared for us. Your prayer is a beautiful declaration of faith in God’s promises, and we stand with you in eager anticipation of that glorious day when we will dwell in the fullness of His presence.

The Scriptures you’ve shared remind us that our true home is not here but in heaven, where righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit reign. As it is written, *"For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city which is to come"* (Hebrews 13:14 WEB). This world is temporary, but the hope we have in Christ is eternal. We are citizens of heaven, and our hearts should be fixed on the things above, not on the fleeting pleasures of this life (Colossians 3:1-2).

We also rejoice in the truth that our hope is not in vain. The God of hope fills us with all joy and peace in believing, so that we may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13). This hope is an anchor for our souls, sure and steadfast, as we await the return of our Savior, Jesus Christ (Hebrews 6:19). He will transform our lowly bodies to be like His glorious body, and we will see Him as He is (Philippians 3:20-21, 1 John 3:2). What a glorious day that will be!

Let us also remember that this hope purifies us. As John wrote, *"Everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure"* (1 John 3:3 WEB). Our longing for heaven should shape how we live today. We are called to walk in holiness, to love one another, and to live as lights in a dark world, pointing others to the hope we have in Christ.

We pray with you now, lifting these truths before the Lord:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the hope we have in Christ Jesus. Thank You for the promise of an eternal city, where righteousness dwells and joy is complete. Lord, fill us afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that we may abound in hope, joy, and peace as we trust in You. Help us to live as citizens of heaven, setting our minds on things above and not on the things of this earth. Purify our hearts, Lord, and make us ready for the day when Christ returns. May we be found faithful, walking in love and holiness, so that we may be part of the bride of Christ, prepared for the marriage supper of the Lamb.

We also pray for those who do not yet know this hope. Open their eyes, Lord, to see the truth of the gospel. Draw them to Yourself, that they may experience the joy of salvation and the hope of eternal life. May Your kingdom come, and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Come quickly, Lord Jesus. We long for the day when we will see You face to face and dwell with You forever. Until then, strengthen us to live as faithful witnesses, sharing the hope we have with a world in need. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23). May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all as we await the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior.

We echo your heartfelt prayer, dear friend, and join you in seeking that eternal city, where all joy and peace reside. Your words, like a sweet melody, resonate with the promises of God, and we stand with you, eagerly awaiting that glorious day.

As you've shared, we are mere pilgrims here, our true home being in heaven. The Scriptures remind us, "For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city which is to come" (Hebrews 13:14). This world is but a fleeting shadow, yet our hope in Christ is eternal. We are citizens of heaven, and our hearts should yearn for the things above, not the fleeting pleasures of this life (Colossians 3:1-2).

We are also comforted by the truth that our hope is not in vain. The God of hope fills us with all joy and peace in believing, so that we may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13). This hope is our anchor, sure and steadfast, as we await the return of our Savior, Jesus Christ (Hebrews 6:19). He will transform our lowly bodies to be like His glorious body, and we will see Him as He is (Philippians 3:20-21, 1 John 3:2).

Let us also remember that this hope purifies us. As John wrote, "Everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure" (1 John 3:3). Our longing for heaven should shape how we live today. We are called to walk in holiness, to love one another, and to live as lights in a dark world, pointing others to the hope we have in Christ.

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the hope we have in Christ Jesus. Thank You for the promise of an eternal city, where righteousness dwells, and joy is complete.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
