Full Time Job

Humble Prayer Partner
Dear Lord Jesus, Please help me you’re in this full-time position that I’m working for and please let me get it. I wanna get the full-time position and be able to work for that time I’m needed and assigned after that ends. I’d like to kind of have money to go on this nice migration with my gigs and stuff please let it work and come up with a plan to work it out Then by the time comes be there In Jesus Name Amen.

We hear your heart’s desire for stability and provision through this full-time position, and we join you in bringing this request before our Heavenly Father. It is good to seek God’s guidance in our work, for He is the One who gives us the ability to produce wealth and provides for our needs. Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s will in this opportunity, trusting that He knows what is best for you.

However, we must gently address a few things in your prayer. First, while it is right to ask God for provision, we must also surrender our plans to His perfect will. James 4:13-15 warns us, "Come now, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow let’s go into this city, and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit,' whereas you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away. For you ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.'"

Second, we notice your mention of "gigs and stuff" in the context of finances. While side work can be a blessing, we must ensure that all our labor is honest, ethical, and glorifies God. Colossians 3:23-24 says, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."

Lastly, we want to encourage you to place your trust fully in Christ, not just for this job, but for your eternal security. Ephesians 2:8-9 tells us, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast." If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so, for He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this request for a full-time job. Lord, You know the needs of this person, and we ask that You would open the right doors in Your perfect timing. Provide not just a job, but the right job, one that aligns with Your will and allows them to serve You faithfully. Give them wisdom in their work, integrity in their dealings, and contentment in Your provision. If this position is not Your best for them, we ask that You close the door gently and lead them to what You have prepared. Help them to trust in You, for You are their Provider and Sustainer. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to remain open to His leading. If this job is not the right fit, trust that God has something better in store. Keep your heart fixed on Him, and He will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We hear the longing in your prayer, the desire to settle fully into this position, and then to see your creative gigs provide a way forward. The in‑between space, when something feels almost yours but not quite certain, can wear on you. We are with you in that tension.

While you wait, it might help to ask your supervisor a gentle question about what would make the transition to permanent clearer. Sometimes a simple conversation brings more peace than our own circling thoughts. But even if the answer takes longer than you’d like, your worth is not hanging on a job title. Christ is with you in the daily grind, and He knows exactly what you need before you ask.

We also hold before the Lord the “migration” and the gigs you mentioned. He is not stingy with the desires He plants in us; you don’t need to be embarrassed about wanting to steward them well.

Let’s pray:

Jesus, thank You for hearing this honest prayer. Guide this friend in the work they are doing now, give them favor, clarity, and a steady heart while they wait for a final answer. Provide not just the job, but a peace that isn’t tied to outcomes. And when the time is right, open a way for their creative pursuits and travel, blessing the work of their hands. We ask this in Your name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of a full-time position, and of money for a migration with your gigs, and your heart is set upon a plan that you desire the Lord to work out for you. It is never wise to dispute with God, for He knows the end from the beginning, and His ways are not our ways. Has He not said, “The Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends”? Your longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of your misery. The night shall not hang its darkness for ever over your soul; the sun shall yet arise with healing beneath his wings. But take heed: high places are full of danger, and the feet of the prosperous slide in due time. When you come to be wealthy, to be admired, to receive honour among men, then is the time of your severest trial. Pray, then, not merely for the job and the migration, but for grace to stand in the day of testing.

Remember Job: in all his losses and grief, he sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. He was upheld by the Almighty, and so shall you be if your trust is in Christ. Yet if you would have your own captivity turned, learn to pray for others, as Job did for his offending friends. He that giveth to the poor lendeth to the Lord; let your desires stretch beyond your own ease to the needs of those around you. Does this migration and these gigs serve the flesh, or do they serve the kingdom of God? I charge you, speak what you know: do you know that God is not a mere provider of bread and coin, but the Saviour who gave His Son to redeem your soul? If He poured the full vigour of His grace into your heart, would He then restrain it and leave you to perish?

I hear a heart fretting over temporals, but I bid you look to the full redemption purchased by the blood of Christ. He has gotten back for us the full light of God’s favour. Come, just as you are, with a full surrender: “Just as I am, without one plea, but that Thy blood was shed for me.” If you are His, then your body and your work are His. Trust Him even when the plan is hidden, for faith’s ultimatum cries, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him.” The Lord who turned the captivity of Job can make a way where there is no way, and He can give you twice as much as you had before, if it pleases Him. But lay your ambitions upon the altar, and seek first the kingdom of God. Man’s extremity is God’s opportunity; when the tide has ebbed out to the very uttermost, it will soon begin to flow again. Wait on the Lord, and be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart.

May the Lord guide this one in their pursuit of this full-time position, for "the Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in Him" . May He grant them favor and open the right doors, according to His will. May He provide for their needs and give them wisdom to plan their path, for "the heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps" . And may they trust in His perfect timing, resting in the promise that "my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus" . In Jesus' name, Amen.

The prayer you offer seeks a full-time position and money for a migration and your affairs. Consider the apostle’s word: make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts. He does not forbid working or planning for necessities, but doing so with a view to kindling the flame of desire and soft living. Ask yourself, is this migration and the gathering of money for your gigs a pursuit of what is needful for health and sober life, or does it cross into that provision which makes the furnace of wantonness more powerful? Those who live a soft and relaxed life, who pride themselves in such things, do everything to light up the flame, not to be merely healthy. If you have put on Christ, prune away those desires, and seek one thing: to keep body and soul in health, spending your chief industry on the care of spiritual things.

See the nature of the life you are in. The present life is a sleep, and the things in it no different from dreams. He that grows rich in a dream, when it is day, is convicted of having been rich to no purpose. Often even before the day, the conviction comes, and before we depart to the other life, those dreams have flown away. Why be so weighed down with these manifold desires, as though this brief dream were the waking reality? Do not allow the devil to assault you through the leisure of slothful living or pernicious curiosity, leading you to foolish questions and hurtful plans because your mind is idle and takes no forethought for excellency of living.

You feel the press of a great contest. For if there be any trial in your want, understand that it comes not to injure you. If we are willing, no one shall be able to injure us, but even our enemies and our hardships advantage us in the greatest degree. What can be more wicked than the devil? Yet even that adversary has become a cause of crowns for the faithful. Job shows it. Do not treat a lack of money or a delayed position as a final calamity. It is not now the time of judgment, but of the best course of life. God permits some to be thrown into the prison of poverty or waiting, as He permitted Peter to be bound, that the deliverance, when it comes, might show His power, and that your faith might be proved genuine, not relying on earthly securities.

To extirpate the roots of distracting care, give yourselves wholly to the employments of prayer and sober living. For consider your real contest: we ought every day to wrestle and fight and run. Look at those called pentathletes; when they have no antagonist, they fill a sack with sand and hang it up to try their full strength upon it. If there be a war against churches or a persecution in your life, how will you stand if you have not exercised yourself? Let this time of waiting be your wrestling school. Block up the approach of the evil one against you by watchfulness, so that having in this short time toiled a little and sought the true prize, you may obtain eternal goods in endless ages, by the grace and lovingkindness of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
