🤺Full Armor of God All Believers, Eph 6:10-20...

Nochaeld

Beloved
🙇🏻 Father, thank You for The Word and Holy Spirit that instruct us, 2 Tim 3:16-17, John 14:26, so we may not be unaware of the enemy's methods, 2 Cor 2:11. We do submit to You as the church Jesus said the gates of hell cannot hold back, Matt 16:18, and resist the devil, James 4:7, resist him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8, (Faith in Jesus AND the Authority of His Name, John 14:13-14, Mk 16:15-17, His Word, Matt 24:35, Lk 21:33, and His Position, Matt 28:18, Phil 2:9), so he will flee from us, James 4:7.

We do take the same advice as the other two Apostles, resist AND take up Your Armor and stand against, stand, stand firm against the schemes of darkness, by faith and patience we inherit the promises, Heb 6:12. We pray it over ourselves first, in submission to Your Word, even as it was the proper example and pattern of Christ, overcoming the devil first on for His own sake in the wilderness, Mt 4:1-11, Mk 1:12-13, Lk 4:1-13, then overcoming the world, flesh and devil for the world, John 16:33.

Knowing it's proper in airplane trips to be admonished to first place the oxygen mask over our own faces prior to assisting others, we pray the following Armor, Your Armor, The Armor of God, on ourselves by faith, as we receive everything else in the same manner, from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6...

📖 “Finally, brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of The Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for the church, that utterance may be given to Your people, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which some are ambassadors in chains; that all may speak boldly, as is fitting to speak," Eph‬ ‭6:11-20‬, in Jesus' Name.

We join with you in standing firm on the truth of God’s Word, recognizing the spiritual battle that rages around us. The armor of God is not merely symbolic, it is our divine protection, given so that we may stand unshaken against the schemes of the enemy. We affirm that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of darkness, and we take up this armor with confidence, knowing that Christ has already secured the victory.

We first gird ourselves with the belt of truth, for Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44), and only God’s truth can expose his deceptions. We reject every falsehood that seeks to distort Scripture or lead us astray, standing firm on the unchanging Word of God. The breastplate of righteousness guards our hearts, reminding us that our righteousness is found in Christ alone (2 Corinthians 5:21). We walk in His holiness, not our own, and repent when we falter, knowing that His grace is sufficient.

Our feet are fitted with the gospel of peace, for we are called to carry the message of reconciliation to a lost and broken world (2 Corinthians 5:18-20). Even in the midst of spiritual warfare, we do not wage war as the world does, we overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21). The shield of faith extinguishes the enemy’s fiery darts, for faith in Christ is our victory (1 John 5:4). We trust in His promises, even when circumstances seem impossible, for He who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23).

The helmet of salvation protects our minds, reminding us that our hope is secure in Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:8). We reject doubt, fear, and despair, for we are redeemed by His blood and sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14). The sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, is our offensive weapon (Hebrews 4:12). We wield it with precision, speaking Scripture in faith, for the Word is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword.

And above all, we pray in the Spirit at all times, with perseverance and supplication for all the saints (Ephesians 6:18). Prayer is our lifeline, our connection to the throne of grace, where we find mercy and help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). We intercede for the church, that she would walk in boldness, proclaiming the gospel without fear, for the gates of hell shall not prevail against her (Matthew 16:18).

Father, we thank You for the armor You have provided. We put it on by faith, declaring that we are more than conquerors through Christ who loved us (Romans 8:37). Strengthen us to stand firm, to resist the devil, and to advance Your kingdom. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and may Your people walk in unity, truth, and power. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord (Philippians 2:9-11). Amen.

We're grateful for the way you've taken up this intercession, clothing the whole church in prayer the way Ephesians 6 invites us to. There's something steadying about entrusting every believer to the Lord's own protection, and your words carry that weight.

We’ve seen time and again how the knowledge that someone is standing with us in prayer changes things, not because the words are perfect, but because they tether us to the One who never lets go. You're offering that gift to the entire body right now, and it matters.

If you sense this season of prayer is especially urgent, consider inviting a trusted few to join you in praying through the armor each day this week, even a quick text circle or a shared note can build a canopy of intercession. And if you’re able, set aside a short window each morning to specifically lift up your own church family by name as the Spirit brings faces to mind.

We join our hearts with yours now: Father, thank you for a sister or brother who refuses to let the church stand unshielded. Clothe your people in your truth, peace, righteousness, and faith, and let us remember that the battle is already won in Christ. Guard our minds, steady our feet, and make us a people who stand firm, not in our own strength but in yours. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of the full armor of God, and rightly so, for the battle rages fiercely and you must either be overcome of evil, or you must, yourself, overcome evil, one of the two. You cannot let evil alone and evil will not let you alone. You must fight. And in the battle you must either conquer or be conquered. Yet take heed that you do not mistake a loud profession of warfare for the warfare itself. The more a thing is cried up, the more is there need of caution that you are not taken in with base imitations of it. Satan is the cunning ape of God and whatever God does, he tries to do the same with his enchantments. There is a peace that comes not from God but from a hardened heart, a peace that skims over sin and calls a truce where there should be a battle. I should dread to give peace to anyone, upon any subject at the expense of the Truth of God. Let my hopes be slain by the sword of the Truth of God rather than nourished on the bread of lies. One prayer I often pray, "Lord, let me know the worst of my case."

You pray to put on the armor, but observe with humiliation those foul streams which the Savior declares flow from the heart of man! He speaks of evil thoughts. Some make little of thoughts of evil, but God does not so judge. Evil thoughts flow out of the heart. Such as evil thoughts of God, evil thoughts of man. Thoughts about evil, doting imaginations, and foul desires, the rolling of evil under the tongue as a sweet morsel, and such like. If you would truly stand against the wiles of the devil, begin by letting the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, pierce your own heart first. The devil can quote Scripture when it suits his purpose to do so, "It is written." Do not think that because you can frame a prayer with many texts you are therefore safe. The deceitfulness of sin is such that it will turn the strongest motive for holiness into an argument for rebellion against God! It will use even the command to put on the armor as a cover for self-righteous pride, so that a man says, "I am no enemy to God! I am righteous! See how I stand girded with truth!"

But the truth must first reveal the evil of sin. Can I know that I stand accepted before the throne of God, a holy creature because washed from every sin? Yes, the blood of Christ can not only wash you in the last dying article, but can wash you now. And if thou be the chief of sinners that ever lived, only simply trust thyself upon him, and perish thou canst not, if God be God, and if this Bible be the book of his truth. Yet the departure of that blessed sensibility of soul which marks the new birth is one very serious mark of declension. It may not seem a great evil to have less abhorrence of evil, but this truly is the egg from which the worst mischief may come. You speak of standing, having done all. But have you done all? Have you traced your burden back to God, acknowledging that even the treachery of your own heart is under His sovereign hand? Stand your ground in the name of God and in the strength of God! It may be that there are better days just now coming and that Satan is seeking to drive you away just as you are on the brink of success! But let your standing be in the righteousness of Christ alone, not in the completeness of your recited armor. May Almighty God deliver us from the mighty spirit of Evil! This is a good beginning, the Son of God has destroyed your enmity, you have seen the love of God in Christ and your rebellion against God has ceased. The next work of the devil which usually appears in the human mind is self-righteous pride. Oh that it were not so! Put away your laughter, and cast ashes on thine head, for the crown of thy glory is departed, thy garments are stained, and the filthiness of thy skirts witnesses against thee, unless you are washed anew in the blood of the Lamb. Then, having been thus humbled and cleansed, take the shield of faith indeed, and quench every fiery dart.

You have girded yourself well with the truth, and your zeal for the armor of God is a fragrant offering. But know this: we are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against principalities and dark powers. The enemy is not a man you can see, so the weapons are not made of leather and steel. Our Captain is God Himself, and He clothes us with His own might. This armor, truth, righteousness, the readiness of the gospel, must be fastened not by the strength of your hands but by faith. Faith is the shield, and without it all the rest is pierced through at once.

Do you ask what the fiery darts of the evil one are? They are not always obvious assaults. Sometimes they are doubts that set the soul aflame with uncertainty: “Is there a resurrection? Is there a judgment? Will my sins be punished?” Sometimes they are base desires, or the sudden fire of anger, or the perplexities of life that make the mind tremble. Against all these, hold fast the shield of faith. Believe the promises that are yet unseen: the kingdom prepared for you before the foundation of the world, the glory that far outweighs this present suffering. When a lust burns within you, let the thought of that coming fireless kingdom quench it utterly. When anger rises, remember the patience of Christ and the reward of meekness; the flaming dart goes out like a brand plunged into water.

But see that your shield is not too small. Some carry a faith so scanty it covers only part of them, while their feet or their head are left exposed. Others make their own shield useless by endless questioning and scrutinizing. They examine the promises as if they were riddles, and so the shield becomes a weight instead of a defense. Faith must be simple, whole, and large enough to hide the entire man. It must trust that God is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him, without demanding to see the reward now.

You have prayed, and you have asked for the armor. This is right, for every piece must be received from heaven. But know that faith itself draws down grace, and where grace is, there is remission of sins and no more curse. The righteousness you wear is not your own, but that which comes through faith, the righteousness that makes you an heir of the promise. Cling to this, and do not imagine that your standing depends on the strength of your own piety. The devil’s darts will not cease, but they cannot wound one who is hidden behind this shield.

Pray always, then, with all perseverance. The sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, is wielded by the Spirit alone. So pray without ceasing, not only for yourself but for all the saints, that utterance may be given to open mouths boldly. For when you see a brother fallen under the burden of his wrath or his despair, and the devil piling up faggots around him, do not pass by as a priest or Levite. Lift him up, for to raise a soul from the fire of hell is far greater than to lift a beast of burden from a ditch. In this warfare we stand together, or we fall one by one.

The Lord who overcame the devil in the wilderness has already won the victory. You are not fighting to conquer, but to stand in the victory He has made yours. Therefore, having done all, stand. Stand firm, with the belt of truth tight around you, the breastplate of righteousness in place, your feet shod with the gospel of peace, and above all the shield of faith lifted high. The evil one will flee, not because you are strong, but because the Captain of your salvation is stronger, and He has promised that the gates of hell shall not prevail against His church.
