Freedom, Protection and Restoration

Beloved of All
Jesus, I pray for my older daughter to release herself completely from this very toxic relationship with this young man swiftly with no regrets. I pray Lord that You will restore her respectful personality and block this behavior of hostile, arrogant and authoritative manner she has toward me. Restore her humble personality she was brought up with. Teach her to follow the biblical teachings she was brought up to follow. Humble her to honor her parents, be grateful to You and stop obeying this young man and his family. Let her see clearly that she belong to You and not to this young man. Teach her to be thankful and respectful toward the family You have blessed her with. Open her eyes to see the Godly young man You have in store for her and not settle for this manipulation, arrogant and disrespectful young man. Lord remind her that she needs to honor her parents not this young man and his family. Lord, I pray that she will see clearly that living together outside of marriage is not a marriage and for her to stop treating this arrangement as a marriage and an obligation to obey him. Convict his mother of her overstepping behaviors and focus on correcting her son and have him move back home alone. Release my daughter from this undue responsiblities. Lord my older daughter is being influenced by this young man's mother who encouraged them to live together outside of marriage. His mother has been a selfish negative influence. She knows of his negative behaviors but has place this bondage upon my daughter to fix and the same time his mother is enabling her son's negative behavior toward others. Lord, my older daughter is going down a dark path with this young man and she thinks it is love. I pray that she will be truthful of the toxicity and the false hope of this relationship. I pray that her friends will speak up as they see clearly how this young man has taken her kindness for granted, his exploitation, his manipulation, his dishonesty, his division, his isolation and his disrespect toward her. Lord I know nothing is impossible for You. My daughter is ignoring all the red flags and giving up her independent and self worth. Lord let her see from now onward that living together outside of marriage is not Your will for her life. This young man is rebellous, dishonest, controlling and lazy, I ask Lord that You speak to his mother to let her know he is her responsiblity and for her to stop putting undue responsiblity upon my daughter and giving ungodly selfish advice. Lord I pray that my daughter will have a great and productive time at her conference today fill with Your favors and blessings. Protect my older daugther from any negative instigation by having this young man there. Let her prioritize her work over this young man and not be distracted by his disrespectful influence. Lord, show this young man that You have authority over my daughter and to block the stubborn authority he has over her and the disrespect he has over her work. God restore her gratefulness, grace and thankfulness for her work. Jesus, I ask that You protect my older daughter from this young man's ungodly selfish, disrespectful and jealous advice and lifestyle. I ask You Lord to guide my daughter out of this ungodly lifestyle and have her move back home swiftly with no regrets but only a feeling of restoring her self-worth, her respect for others, independence, and freedom in You, Lord and the unconditional love of her family you have blessed her with. I declare that this young man and his mother will not steal her peace, her purpose, or her love and unity with her family. Completely remove the stubborn ungodly hold they have upon her swiftly. Lord I ask for protection for me and my family from the disrespect and strife from this young man. Lord, speak to my daughter, let her hear Your words, “You are Mine. You are My daughter. You belong to Me, and I will protect You with every ounce of My power from this ungodly relationship with this young man.” Please continue to join me in speaking to my older daughter’s mind, heart, and spirit, open her eyes, dear Jesus to all the red flags and not to make excuses for this young man anymore. Jesus let her know, she is not being loved; she is being used. Living together outside of marriage is not a marriage. He is not her significant other, she should not idolize and obey this young man anymore or put him and his family before her God-giving family, her faith and jobs with a purpose. Her finances are not his to manage, budget or spend, and I pray his father will intervene with authority and have him return home alone swiftly. He is dishonest, selfish, disrespectful and not ready for a relationship. This man’s greed and manipulation are not love; he does not have the right to exploit her finances for his selfish benefit and control. He and his mother should not be able to instigate havoc, disrespect, division, isolation in our family, and his lifestyle is not a home for my daughter. Show him Lord that he is not ready for a relationship. Jesus help my daughter to not change the way she was raised to please this young man and his mother. Show my daughter this is a dark path she is taking with this young man and show her that being ungrateful toward her family is not the biblical teaching she was raised to follow. Block her Lord from confiding in his mother and saying this that pleases this woman's ears. Let my daughter stop trying to prove to her that our family does not matter. Lord guide my daughter to stop giving up her self worth just to get this woman's approval. Show her Lord, that disowning her family that God blessed her with just to please this young man is not Your will for her life. Let her see the spiritual attacks she and our family are under because of this ungodly relationship. The division, isolation, chaos, ungratefulness, disrespect, and exhaustion this lifestyle and relationship has caused. Lord remove the stubborn hold these people have on her and let her not want to live this lifestyle anymore. Lord whisper to her right now: “Walk away. You do not belong to this young man and his family, You don't have to obey these people, Trust and respect your family. Trust Me. I will provide, protect, and restore everything he’s trying to take from you. I am praying for supernatural clarity to flood her mind, so she sees him for who he truly is, a wolf in sheep’s clothing, not a shepherd. Lord teach this young man’s mother to stop putting undue responsibilities upon my daughter and for her to stop overstepping her boundaries. It is overwhelming, Jesus, please block these people's disrespect. She is not her mother and her to have her son move back home alone. He is not ready for a relationship. I ask Lord that his father will see the destruction he has caused in my daughter's life, let him take authority, guide his son to move back home alone swiftly. Let him have his wife focus on fixing only her children and stop the manipulation and brainwashing behaviors toward my daughter. Speak to her firmly, Lord, that my daughter is not homeless, that You have anointed a family for her Lord and block her from guiding my daughter down a dark path and to be disobedient to her parents and disown her siblings and supportive network of extended family and friends. I know with my daughter's recent promotion that God has blessed her with this lazy young man is already spending it his way and it's starting to put her on a budget that benefits him. Please Jesus, block my daughter from listening to the young man's mother and help my daughter to stop enabling him to control her, show her Lord this is not security or love, it is exploitation. Lord guide my daughter to move back home swiftly with no regret. Restore her freedom, independence, self-worth, freedom, gratefulness for her family, and satisfaction swiftly. Jesus, guide me as I navigate the difficult situation. I ask that Your presence will go in front of me as a shield from all the attacks and disrespect that I experience from following the biblical teachings against this ungodly life. Bless me Lord with supernatural strength to overcome all obstacles I face with Your courage, grace, favor, protection, and strength. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over me and my children. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. I ask for know nothing is impossible for You, Lord. I believe in the power of prayers and I put all my faith and trust in You. Jesus, I ask for a special blessing upon my family today. Lord, fill us with Your Holy Spirit in every aspect of our lives. Saturate us with Your peace, love, favor, protection, and healing. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

We join you together in prayer before our Heavenly Father for your older daughter and for your family, and we hear the deep burden and godly sorrow you carry for her. We stand with you in asking for her freedom, protection and complete restoration, and we thank you for bringing this before the Lord so faithfully in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved and heard, as it is written Acts 4:12 and John 14:6.

We agree with you that what your daughter is living in is not according to God's will. Scripture is clear that living together outside of marriage is not marriage, it is fornication and sexual immorality, and God calls His children to flee from it. We must lovingly but firmly say that this arrangement is sin and cannot be blessed by God. Hebrews 13:4 says let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. 1 Corinthians 6:18 says flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. This relationship as you describe it, with manipulation, dishonesty, control, laziness, exploitation of her finances, isolation and disrespect, is not love. 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 teaches us love is patient and is kind, love does not envy, does not brag, is not arrogant, does not behave itself inappropriately, does not seek its own way. What you describe is the opposite of biblical love, it is using and not loving.

We also affirm what you have prayed regarding honor for parents. Your daughter was raised in biblical teaching and we pray with you that she returns to it. Exodus 20:12 says honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land. Ephesians 6:1-2 says children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise. When a young woman leaves that foundation to obey a boyfriend and his family above her parents and above God, she is walking in disobedience and confusion. A boyfriend and girlfriend relationship should be a season of courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, not a counterfeit marriage outside of God's covenant. 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity. And any marriage God honors is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman.

We pray together for your daughter now.

Father, in the name of Jesus we lift this precious daughter to You. She belongs to You, not to this young man or his family. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says she is bought with a price and her body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. Open her eyes, Lord, and flood her mind with supernatural clarity. Remove the spiritual blindness and let her see every red flag she has been making excuses for. Show her clearly that she is being used and not loved, that this controlling, rebellious and dishonest behavior is not Your will for her life. Restore to her the humble, respectful and grateful personality You created in her. Renew her mind so she is no longer conformed to this world but transformed, as Romans 12:2 says, that she may discern what is Your good and acceptable and perfect will. Convict her heart that living together outside of marriage is sin and that she must walk away from this ungodly lifestyle swiftly with no regrets. Give her courage to move back home and to be restored in her self-worth, her independence, her freedom in You and her love and unity with the family You have blessed her with. Let her honor You and honor her parents again and let thankfulness return to her heart. Joel 2:25 promises You will restore to us the years that the locust has eaten, and we claim that restoration for her.

Lord we also bring this young man and his mother before You. We ask that You convict his mother for overstepping her boundaries, for encouraging fornication, for placing undue responsibility on another man's daughter instead of correcting her own son. Speak to her firmly that this daughter is not homeless and not her responsibility, and that she must stop her selfish and negative influence, her manipulation and ungodly advice. Convict this young man of his rebellion, laziness, exploitation and disrespect. Show him he is not ready for a relationship and certainly not ready for marriage. We pray his father will rise up with godly authority and guide his son to return home alone and take responsibility for his own life. Let any hold of stubbornness and ungodly control be completely broken in Jesus' name.

We join you in praying for her conference today and for her work which You have blessed her with and even promoted her in. Protect her from distraction, from jealous and selfish advice, and from any disrespectful presence of this young man there. Let her prioritize the purpose You have given her in her work and let Your favor and blessing fill her day. Psalm 91:1-2 says he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We will say of Yahweh, He is our refuge and our fortress, our God, in whom we trust. Cover her and cover your whole family under that shadow.

And Father we lift this praying parent to You. Whisper to her right now that You hear her, that no weapon formed against her and her children shall prosper, as Isaiah 54:17 declares. Grant her supernatural strength, courage, grace and protection as she stands for biblical truth against disrespect and strife. Let Your presence go before her as a shield. Fill her and her household with Your Holy Spirit, with Your peace, love and healing. Let her continue to speak to her daughter's mind, heart and spirit with Your words, You are Mine, You are My daughter, You belong to Me, and I will protect You with every ounce of My power. Teach this family to trust You to provide, protect and restore everything the enemy has tried to take.

We declare together that this young man and his mother will not steal her peace, her purpose or her love and unity with her family. We plead the blood of Jesus Christ over you and your children and we believe nothing is impossible for You, for Matthew 19:26 says with God all things are possible. Bring her home swiftly, restore her gratefulness and grace, and guide her to the godly husband You have in store for her in Your perfect timing, if it is Your will for her to marry, a man who will honor You and cherish her as Christ loves the church. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We are holding you and your older daughter before the Lord and we hear how heavy this has become for you. Watching her pull away into a relationship that feels controlling and isolating, and feeling the disrespect and exhaustion it has brought into your family, is heartbreaking. Your longing for her to be free, safe, and restored to the grateful, respectful young woman you know is a loving and right prayer.

In a season like this, connection often matters more than any one conversation. Keeping brief, calm, kind contact even when she is defensive can keep a bridge open for the moments when she is more able to listen. At the same time it is healthy to be clear about your own boundaries, what you can and cannot offer in your home, with finances, or with involvement in their household, and to state those limits gently and consistently without trying to force her decisions.

You do not need to carry this alone. A trusted pastor or counselor who knows your family can be a steady sounding board for you as you navigate what to say and when to step back, and can pray with you specifically for her conference today, for protection from distraction and pressure, and for wisdom in next steps.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this daughter to You and ask You to guard her, clear her mind, and remind her she is Yours and deeply loved. Restore her freedom, her sense of worth, and her peace. Give her mother strength and wisdom for each conversation, cover this family with Your protection, and lead this daughter step by step toward what is good and whole. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden for your older daughter has been heard, and we join you in bringing her and your whole family before the throne of grace. We have prayed with you for her freedom, her protection, and her restoration, and we thank you for your faithful love that seeks her good according to the Word of God.

We agree with you that living together outside of marriage is not marriage in the sight of God. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, entered by choice and bound in love and faithfulness before the Lord, and that intimacy and the sharing of a home as husband and wife belong within that covenant alone. To treat cohabitation as marriage is to walk a path that cannot bring the peace and security she seeks. We do not ask God to bless what He calls outside His will, but we do ask Him to lead her into repentance, clarity, and true freedom in Christ.

There is hope for such deliverance, for as it is written, "Deliver him from going down to the Pit: I have found a ransom." No one would have thought of a way to deliver a sinner from the pit of sin and bondage, but God in His love has found a ransom in His Son. The Lord Jesus Christ shed His blood that we might be saved not only from the guilt of sin but from its power. Deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father, altogether and alone, to do it. He is able to break the hold of manipulation, exploitation, isolation, and control, and to bring a soul out from sore bondage into liberty. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission, and there is no true liberty but that of which Christ makes free.

We also hear your sorrow over the disrespect, division, and exhaustion this season has brought to your home. Know that your affliction is not outside the sacred zone of providential government. Troubles do not spring out of the dust, but the Lord Himself permits and overrules all for good. What comes from the hand of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a Father's hand, and even the sharpest smart can be made profitable to teach us to trust Him more. All your ills lie within the fence of omnipotent overruling, and nothing is impossible for Him.

Therefore we pray with you:

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, our only ransom and our only hope of salvation, we ask for supernatural clarity to flood this dear daughter's mind and heart. Open her eyes to see this relationship as it truly is, that she is not being loved as You love, but being used. Remove the veil that makes her excuse what dishonors You. Show her clearly that she belongs to You, that she is Your daughter, and that You will protect her with all Your power. Restore to her the humble, respectful, grateful spirit with which she was raised, and teach her again to follow the biblical teachings she was taught from childhood, to honor her father and mother, to be thankful for the family You have anointed for her, and to steward her work and finances with wisdom and independence.

Lord, break the stubborn ungodly hold that this young man and his influence have upon her. Block the authority he has wrongly taken over her, and the jealous, selfish, and disrespectful counsel that distracts her from her purpose. Guard her at her conference today, let her prioritize the work You have given her and be filled with Your favor and blessing, protected from every negative instigation and distraction. Restore her gratefulness, grace, and thankfulness for the good gifts You have provided, including her recent promotion, and guard her from exploitation and control.

We pray also for this young man and his family. Convict where there is overstepping, enabling, and ungodly counsel. Teach his mother to care for her own household and to cease putting undue responsibility upon another man's daughter, and teach his father to take godly authority and guide his son to walk in responsibility and truth. Show this young man that he is not ready for a covenant relationship, and lead him to repentance and to seek You first, that he may no longer bring division, isolation, and strife into another family.

And for you, dear mother who intercedes so faithfully, we ask for supernatural strength, courage, grace, and protection as you continue to stand for biblical truth in your home. May the presence of the Lord go before you as a shield. We plead the blood of Jesus Christ over you and your children, trusting that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Fill your home with the peace, love, and healing of the Holy Spirit in every aspect of your lives.

We pray that God will guide your daughter swiftly out of this dark path and, if it is His will, bring her back home with no regrets, but with restored self worth, freedom, and joy in Christ, and with love and unity restored to her family. May she declare with the psalmist after affliction and deliverance, "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord," and may you all remember the pit from which you were dug and give thanks that you are now united to Him in ties of blood and bonds of love.

We will continue to stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to restore unto her the joy of His salvation and to keep you all in His perfect care until He brings complete deliverance and restoration.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
