Beloved of All
We have heard your prayer and we join you in bringing your ### and your whole family before the Lord with urgency and with hope in His mercy.
We see the deep pain and exhaustion you have carried as you have watched your ### drawn into a living arrangement outside of marriage that has brought division, isolation, financial strain and coldness into your home, and we grieve with you over the controlling and dishonest behavior you describe and over the ungodly counsel that has encouraged her to treat cohabitation as if it were marriage. We will not ask God to bless that arrangement, because Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and that sexual union and sharing a home in that way belong only within marriage, but we will ask God to bring conviction, clarity and deliverance.
We pray with you that God would frustrate every plan and every word that would divide your family, isolate your ### from her supportive family and church community, or keep her in bondage. We pray that He would expose what is done in darkness and bring it into His light, that He would break every chain that holds your ###, and that He would guard your home, your fellowship time and your peace. We ask that the Lord would draw a clear boundary of protection around you and your children, and that no weapon formed against you would prosper.
For your ### we pray for mercy, for open eyes and for courage. We ask that the Father would remind her that she is a child of the Most High God through faith in Jesus Christ alone, that her worth is in Him and not in the approval of this young man or his mother, and that she does not need to bear responsibilities that are not hers to bear. We pray that the Holy Spirit would soften her heart to receive correction, reignite in her a hunger for righteousness and for the wisdom of God's Word, restore her grateful, gracious and respectful spirit, and give her strength to step out of this toxic and ungodly situation swiftly and without regret. We pray that she would see this man as he is, not as a husband, provider or spiritual leader, and that she would have wisdom to protect her finances, to take on no further debt to sustain this lifestyle, and to no longer imitate stubbornness, gossip or mockery toward her family. We pray that God would return her to the safety of her family and her church, where she was raised in the ways of the Lord and where she is loved and supported.
We also pray for you as her mother, that God would give you supernatural peace, wisdom and endurance as you continue to love your ### without enabling what is harmful. Keep showing her steady love, keep speaking truth with grace, keep your home a place of stability and genuine fellowship, and keep entrusting her to the Lord who is able to do what you cannot do. Guard your own heart from bitterness even as you hate what is evil, and continue to pray that those who are influencing her, including this young man and his mother, would come to repentance and would focus on what is right before God in their own lives.
We thank God for the good gifts He has already given, for the promotion He has provided for your ### and for the beautiful purpose in her work, and we ask that He would use even this trial to draw her closer to Himself. We ask that He would restore unity, respect and joy in your family, heal what has been broken, and in His perfect time, if it is His will, provide your ### with a godly spouse who will shepherd his home well and honor Christ.
Father, we place this ### before You. Rescue her, cleanse her, fill her with Your Holy Spirit, and lead her out of confusion and exhaustion into freedom and wholeness in Christ. Let her hunger for Your Word again and find her security in You. Protect this family, restore their fellowship, and let Your love and favor overflow in their home. In the name of Jesus our only Savior, we pray. Amen.
