Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf for this special brother who you have kept hidden for privacy reasons. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer concerning his need for restoration. We have continued to lift him to the throne of God in the name of Jesus, praying that the Lord will draw him back from his distance from God, bring deep conviction and repentance for fornication, and give him grace to accept God's will regarding his broken and unequally yoked relationship.
We have been praying with you based on Hosea 2:19 and Hosea 2:20 that the Lord would betroth him to Himself in righteousness and faithfulness and that he would truly know the Lord, and according to 2 Cor 6:14 that he would understand he cannot be unequally yoked with an unbeliever but must walk in holiness. We join you in praying that he will have unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and in the Father's holy plan for his life, that he will have the courage to turn from adultery and to drive the adulterous and godless relationship out of his house, and that he will be restored to fellowship with God. We pray for protection over you and all who are praying for him and encouraging him to follow God, that you would not be persecuted but strengthened.
