We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for this brother who is hidden for privacy reasons.
We have continued to lift him to the throne of God in Jesus Name, praying for his restoration and repentance where he has distanced himself from the Lord through fornication and has entered into an unequally yoked marriage with an adulterous woman. We have been praying that he will accept God's will regarding this broken relationship and understand that as a born again Christian he is called to not be unequally yoked as taught in 2 Cor 6:14, and that he will have unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and in the Father's holy plan for his life.
We continue to agree with you in prayer based on Hosea 2:19 and Hosea 2:20 that the Lord would betroth him to Himself in righteousness and justice and in lovingkindness and mercy and in faithfulness so that he may know the Lord, and that he would be cleansed and restored through repentance according to 1 John 1:9, and flee from sexual immorality according to 1 Cor 6:18. We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord would grant him conviction, clarity and godly sorrow leading to repentance, and give him the strength to separate himself from this adulterous and ungodly relationship and to drive out what is not of God from his house, and that he would be protected from discouragement and that those who pray for him and encourage him to follow God would not be persecuted but would be strengthened.
