for wisdom, healing and leading from God

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray for ### to be healed emotionally after psychological shock trauma, for sleep to be made easier and longer; and for ### to be healed physically from ailment; in Jesus Name. Amen.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up in prayer, seeking His divine wisdom, healing, and guidance. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals both body and soul. We ask that You would touch with Your healing hand, bringing restoration to their mind, emotions, and body.

Lord, psychological shock and trauma can leave deep wounds that only You can fully mend. We pray that You would comfort in their distress, bringing peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Calm their mind, ease their fears, and replace their anxiety with Your perfect peace. We ask that You would grant them restful and restorative sleep, for it is in sleep that Your healing power often works most profoundly. "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety" (Psalm 4:8).

Father, we also lift up ’s physical ailments to You. You are the God who formed their body and knows every cell and fiber. We ask that You would bring healing to every part of their being, strengthening them where they are weak and restoring them to full health. "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5).

Lord, we also ask for Your wisdom to guide in the days ahead. Lead them in the paths of righteousness, and help them to lean not on their own understanding but to trust in You with all their heart (Proverbs 3:5-6). Surround them with godly counsel and support, and let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).

We rebuke the spirit of fear and trauma in the name of Jesus, for "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that is not defined by their past or their pain but by the love and grace of Jesus Christ. We speak life, healing, and wholeness over them, trusting in Your promise that "by His stripes we are healed" (1 Peter 2:24).

Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. Strengthen ’s faith, draw them closer to You, and let them experience Your love in a tangible way. May they come to know You more deeply through this trial and emerge with a testimony of Your goodness and grace.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We have been praying for both ### and ###, and we wanted you to know that you are not carrying this burden by yourself. The shock trauma ### endured can shake a person to the core, and it makes sense that sleep feels elusive and the heart feels fragile. Healing from trauma often comes in small, quiet steps rather than all at once, and God is gentle with that pace, never forcing, always staying near.

One thing that sometimes helps after a psychological shock is to let the pain find a safe listener. That might be a trusted pastor, a Christian counselor, or a steady prayer partner who can simply be present without rushing to fix anything. For the physical ailment, we also gently encourage seeing a doctor if that hasn’t happened yet; God often uses skilled hands and wise minds to bring relief alongside our prayers.

Father, we ask You to quiet ###'s anxious thoughts and bring nights of peaceful, longer sleep. Heal the unseen wounds the trauma left behind, and replace their distress with a growing sense of safety in You. For ###, we ask for Your healing touch on their body, give wisdom to any doctors, strength to their frame, and hope to their spirit. Hold both of them close, and let them feel Your steady care through the people You place around them. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The sharpness of your trial is not hidden from the Lord who was acquainted with grief. That psychological shock, that wound upon the spirit, is a breaking of the heart which He alone can bind up. The sleepless nights and the physical ailment cry out for a remedy beyond the skill of man. But there is a Tree of Life whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ Jesus is charged with restoring power. Bring your shattered emotions and your weary body to Him; He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. Cast yourself upon His pity and make a confidant of Him, telling Him every pang as a patient describes symptoms to a physician.

Pardon and healing are sweetly joined in His hand. When He forgave the palsied man, He also made him rise and walk. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and His wings are spread even now. Do not seek to soothe yourself into the sleep of perdition by mere human comforts, but let your faith touch the hem of His garment. As you lie before His presence, hear Him say, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." That word carries balm for the mind and medicine for the frame. The power to heal is present when Christ is teaching, so sit at His feet, let His Word dwell in you richly, and by His stripes you shall be made whole.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I lament with you over this infirmity of soul and body, not because lamenting alone heals, but because it is itself a kind of healing treatment to foretell deliverance and to mourn the present affliction. Many who were not profited by advice were afterward amended when they were mourned for.

Now, do not despair, nor suppose that because relief seems slow, the remedies of prayer and divine consolation are without effect. As a tree may receive ten strokes and not fall, yet afterward be brought down by a single blow, so it often is with the healing of the soul. The many petitions that seem to bring no fruit are yet doing a work beneath the surface, preparing the roots for a sudden and abundant recovery. While the sickness remains, it would show a mean and weak spirit, not to say cruelty, to desist from the healing treatment. Let us then apply the medicine of continual supplication until God restores you to health.

But let us not understand these trials in a carnal manner, looking only to the immediate removal of pain. The wisdom that is spiritual sees beyond what is before the eyes. For the hearing that brings faith is not a mere hearing of words, but a hearing by the word of God. We are not speaking of a physical process alone, but of a divine comfort that has nothing carnal about it and is set above the laws of this world. The sleep you seek, the healing of the body, the mending of the mind, these are from above, a wisdom hidden but foreordained for our glory. Those who hear as if God Himself were exhorting them receive a strength that endures perils and sorrows.

And do not be confounded that this healing should come in such a manner, through the foolishness of preaching and prayer rather than through the wisdom of this world. The one who admitted the uneducated first showed thereby that all men need the wisdom from above. This very wisdom seems foolishness to those without, but it is a wisdom so much greater that the other appears foolishness in comparison. He who was made unto us wisdom, Christ Himself, knows the necessity of what we must undergo. So then, continue to call upon Him. For “must” here does not express a bare necessity, but is declaratory of something that will certainly come to pass: that His sheep shall hear His voice, and He will give them healing.

Your request begins in the right place, because wisdom is the principal thing God calls us to seek. I am asking with you that the Lord would give clear leading, and I am asking that this wisdom would start with the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom. Wisdom is not merely knowing facts; it is knowing what to do with what is true. God is pleased when we ask for it above lesser things, and He gives it freely.

For the one recovering from psychological shock trauma, I am asking the Lord to heal the mind and emotions. Jesus bore our griefs and carried our sorrows, and His healing ministry included the whole person. I ask Him to quiet what trauma has stirred up, to remove the sharp edge of the memories, and to bring rest that allows sleep to come more easily and last longer. Emotional healing is often gradual, but that does not make it less divine. The God who made the body and mind to mend is at work in that process.

For the one with the physical ailment, I am asking for the healing power of Jesus, who has authority over the physical realm. I do not understand why some are healed quickly and others gradually, but I know that all true healing is from Him. So I ask for restoration, for wisdom in receiving care, and for patient trust that says, Your will be done. May His peace guard both hearts and minds, and may His love prevail in every situation. In Jesus name, Amen.
