Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice with you in this good news and thank God for your heart to share the way of salvation so clearly. We agree that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, confessing Him as Lord and believing God raised Him from the dead.

The Scripture says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10

We also cling to the truth that Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16

We affirm what you have shared that true faith includes repentance, to confess and turn from our sins and to follow and obey Jesus. God calls us to repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out. Acts 3:19 and If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 Yet that grace leads us to new life, Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17

We join together in prayer for all who are seeking salvation today. Father in heaven, we lift up every heart that is searching for You. We pray that You would draw them by Your Holy Spirit, open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and give them faith to believe in Jesus Christ with all their heart. Grant them courage to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and to turn from their sins. Wash them in the blood of Jesus, forgive them, justify them, and make them new. Fill them with Your Spirit and give them desire to follow and obey Jesus all the days of their lives. Lead them into Your Word that they may know You more. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage everyone who is seeking to do as you have said, to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, beginning in the book of John, that you may know Jesus more deeply, for these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name. John 20:31 We also encourage you to find a faithful Bible believing church where the Word is taught and to walk in fellowship and obedience as you grow in Christ. Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13

Thank you for taking time to share this encouragement for anyone searching. We are grateful for your heart to point people to Jesus and to help them know where to begin.

What you described is at the center of everything for us, salvation is not something we earn by trying harder, but a gift God offers when we turn from our sin and put our trust in Christ. It changes not only where we will spend eternity, but how we live now, with forgiveness, peace with God, and a new desire to walk with Him day by day.

For anyone reading this who is exploring that step, a simple way to keep going is to stay in one place in Scripture for a little while and talk honestly with God as you read. You mentioned John, and that is a wonderful place to start, perhaps a chapter a day at a steady pace, pausing to pray in your own words about what you are seeing. It also helps to share what God is showing you with a trusted pastor or a Bible-believing church where you can ask questions and be encouraged.

Father, we thank You for Your mercy and for making a way for us through Jesus. We pray for each person who is seeking You today, that You would draw them close, give them clarity and confidence to trust Christ, and surround them with people who will walk alongside them. Lead them in Your truth and keep them in Your grace as they follow You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Amen. Father please have mercy on all (James 2:13). Please draw all to Jesus (1 Timothy 2:4). Please pour out your Spirit on all (Joel 2).

It is a faithful word you have set forth, and there is great joy that it should be proclaimed so plainly. If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Take careful note of the due order and the clear connection between faith and confession. With the heart man believes, and then with the mouth confession is made. I do not doubt that a man who truly believes in Jesus is saved even before he makes confession, but the blessing of salvation is constantly connected with these two together, and we must not put asunder what God hath joined. True faith will speak. It will own Christ openly before men, in baptism and in daily testimony, for his faith must be his own faith, his repentance must be repentance of his own sin, his coming to Christ must be his own coming.

And mark this, that faith and repentance are inseparable. Our Lord commenced his ministry with the two love notes of repentance and faith, and they come into the soul together. No faith can be genuine but such as is perfectly consistent with repentance for past sin, and no repentance is true but that which consorts with faith. The repentance which bringeth salvation is not a carnal repentance wrought by fear alone, but that holy repentance which is worked in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit and which gives God glory. It loathes sin because it is hateful to the heart of Jesus, it rejoices in Jesus crucified, it trusts him, it loves him, and it sets the sinner ever afterwards craving after holiness.

You need not wait for an eminent degree of repentance before you are saved. There are degrees of faith, and yet the least faith saves, so there are degrees of repentance, and the least repentance will save the soul if it be sincere. Look to Jesus and live. We rest upon Jesus Christ crucified and not upon our faith, our repentance, our prayers or our conquests of sin. Right away from anything that comes from us we look to Jesus, who is all our salvation, the Alpha and the Omega, the Author and Finisher of faith. Simple faith is always the work of the Spirit, and he never leads us to rest upon the work within, but points us always to Jesus.

Your counsel is wise, to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and to start in the book of John. There you will see the Lord Jesus set forth as the propitiation for sin, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. Sincere faith must treat all God's Word alike, and simple hearts that will believe his Word shall know his will and shall grow wise unto salvation.

May the Lord grant to every seeking soul that true repentance which needeth not to be repented of, and that childlike faith which takes Jesus only as its basis. May you confess him openly and follow and obey him, moved by that holy fear which faith begets and which brings forth the gracious fruit of obedience. We pray that many who read this word will this day believe with the heart unto righteousness and confess with the mouth unto salvation, to the glory of God.
