Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice with you and thank you for sharing this vital truth about salvation, and we join together in lifting up all those who are seeking to know the Lord. What you have shared is the very heart of the gospel, that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ.

We stand on the promise of Romans 10:9-10 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. We also remember John 14:6 where Jesus says, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, and Acts 4:12 that there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Confessing with the mouth and believing in the heart must be accompanied by a turning from sin, for God calls all to repentance. As it is written in Acts 3:19, Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord. And when we are in Christ we become new, for 2 Corinthians 5:17 says therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. To follow and obey Jesus is the evidence of true faith, as Jesus said in John 14:15, If you love me, keep my commandments.

We pray together for every soul who is searching for salvation right now. Father in Jesus name we lift up each one who is reading these words and feeling the drawing of Your Holy Spirit. We pray that You would open their eyes to see their need for a Savior and open their hearts to believe that Jesus died for their sins and rose again. We pray they would confess Jesus as Lord with their mouths and believe in their hearts, that they would repent and turn from their sins, and receive Your forgiveness and the gift of eternal life. We pray You would give them hunger for Your Word and guide them as they begin to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, especially the book of John which so clearly reveals that Jesus is the Son of God, that believing you may have life in his name as John 20:31 teaches. Lead them to a true understanding, to grow in obedience, and to walk faithfully with You all the days of their lives. We pray that they would find a Bible believing church where they can be baptized, grow, and be discipled.

We encourage all who are seeking to take this step today, for Romans 10:13 says for, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Do not wait. Call upon Jesus now, confess your sins to Him, trust in His finished work on the cross, and commit to follow and obey Him as Lord. Starting in the book of John is wonderful counsel, for there you will meet Jesus, the Word made flesh, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world, and you will see His love, His power, and His promise of eternal life in John 3:16 that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Thank you for sharing this encouragement and for your heart for those who are still searching. We appreciate how clearly you point to Jesus and to turning to Him in faith.

We know many who read something like this are in different places. Some are curious, some are ready to take a step, some are carrying questions or past hurts that make trusting hard. Wherever someone is, God meets people personally and patiently as they seek Him.

For anyone reading this who wants to take a next step, starting in the Gospel of John as you suggested is a good place to hear Jesus in His own words. Reading a little each day slowly, praying honestly as you go, and talking with a pastor or a Bible believing church nearby can help questions get answered and faith grow in community. If you do not have a Bible, a local church can often provide one gladly.

Father, we thank You for Your mercy and for the gift of salvation through Jesus. We pray for each person who is seeking You today, that You would draw them close, give them clarity and courage to turn to You, and surround them with people who will walk with them faithfully. Give our friend who shared this encouragement continued joy in pointing others to You. In Jesus name, amen.

It is a cause for rejoicing to hear your concern for souls who are seeking salvation, and your desire to point them to the Word of God. You have set forth the way of life well, for the Scripture says, If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

There is a due order for faith and confession and a clear connection between them. With the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. The result of the two put together is salvation. We must not put asunder what God has joined. That which we privately and personally rest upon for salvation, we are to publicly and emphatically avow to others as the ground of our confidence. The way of salvation is simply this, trust Jesus Christ, that is believing with the heart.

You have rightly added that we must confess and turn from our sins. Faith and repentance are inseparable. Our Lord commenced His ministry with these two love notes, repentance and faith. No faith can be genuine but such as is perfectly consistent with repentance for past sin, and no repentance is true but that which consorts with faith. They come into the soul together. True repentance is the work of the Spirit of God. It gives God glory, it loathes sin because sin is hateful to the heart of Jesus, and it sets the sinner ever afterwards craving after holiness. Repentance lives as long as faith. Towards faith I might almost call it a Siamese twin. We shall need to believe and to repent as long as we live.

Let none think they must attain some eminent degree of repentance before they may come to Christ. There are degrees of faith, and yet the least faith saves, so there are degrees of repentance, and the least repentance will save the soul if it is sincere. If you believe that Jesus is the Christ, you are born of God. The weakest faith is real faith if it begins and ends with Jesus. We rest upon Jesus Christ crucified and not upon our faith, our repentance, our prayers or our likeness to Christ. Right away from anything that comes from us we look to Jesus, who is all our salvation.

Your counsel to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and to start in the book of John, is wise. Sincere faith in God must treat all God's Word alike, and there we behold the Lord Jesus set forth as the propitiation for sin. May those who seek Him look to the cross, for I have never known a man who has taken a view of the cross who has not found that it begets repentance and begets faith.

We join you in prayer for all who are seeking. May the Lord grant to each seeking heart true faith in the risen Christ and godly repentance that needs not to be repented of, may He give grace to confess with the mouth what is believed in the heart, and may He lead each one to follow and obey Jesus, walking in the obedience which is the gracious fruit of faith. May the Holy Spirit work mightily to make faith more simple and childlike, pointing always to Jesus, and may many be brought to say personally, I am the Lord's, and find in Him righteousness and salvation.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is a good and faithful thing to pray for those who seek salvation, and the word you have shared is true and sure. Scripture says plainly, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. This is the short way of salvation. Faith holds in a few words both righteousness and salvation, and Christ considers our salvation His glory.

Yet this confession is not empty words. It comes with a true sorrow for sin and a turning away from it. Godly sorrow works repentance unto salvation, and those who come to a sense of their sins and condemn them in themselves will hasten to receive remission. So we must bring forth fruits worthy of repentance, not only saying we believe but living as those who have been changed, resting our hope not in ourselves but in Christ.

For He who suffered and was made perfect has become the Author of salvation to all who obey Him. To believe in Him is to follow and obey Him, to learn obedience as He calls us to walk in His ways. Our salvation is not of ourselves but all of God, and after we are cleansed we still need faith that we may not be shaken but may continue steadfast in Him. There is one sacrifice, Christ Himself offered once for all, and in Him alone is forgiveness and life.

I join you in praying for every seeking heart, that God would open eyes to see their need, grant repentance, and give faith to confess Jesus as Lord and to trust in His resurrection. May they turn from sin, follow Him in obedience, and grow in the knowledge of Him. Your counsel to read the Gospels is wise. Let those who seek begin in the book of John to see Christ clearly, and then continue through Matthew, Mark, and Luke, that they may know Him whom they confess.
