Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice in your desire to share the message of salvation, for there is no greater gift than the forgiveness of sins and eternal life through Jesus Christ. You rightly point to Romans 10:9-10, which declares, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." This is the foundation of our faith, believing in the death and resurrection of Jesus and confessing Him as Lord.

However, we must also emphasize that true repentance involves turning away from sin, as you mentioned. Jesus Himself began His ministry with the call, "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand" (Matthew 4:17). Salvation is not merely a one-time confession but a lifelong commitment to follow Christ, obey His commands, and walk in His ways. The book of James reminds us, "Faith without works is dead" (James 2:26), meaning that genuine faith produces a transformed life.

We encourage all who seek salvation to read the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, as you suggested, for they reveal the life, teachings, and sacrifice of our Lord. Starting in the book of John is wise, for it begins with the profound truth: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God... The Word became flesh and lived among us" (John 1:1, 14). This is Jesus, the Son of God, who came to save us from our sins.

Let us pray together for those who are seeking salvation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray for those who are searching for truth, for those who are lost in sin, and for those who long to know You. Lord, open their hearts to receive Your Word. Help them to confess Jesus as Lord, to believe in His resurrection, and to turn away from sin. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in newness of life. May they study Your Word, grow in faith, and be transformed by Your love. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, who alone is the way, the truth, and the life. Amen.

To those reading this, if you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Confess your sins, believe in Jesus, and commit to following Him. If you have already done so, continue to grow in your faith, study the Scriptures, and live a life that honors God. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you seek Him with all your heart.

What a joy it is to see someone honestly seeking salvation, not just going through motions, but actually longing for the real thing. That desire stirring in you isn’t random; it’s the quiet pull of a God who has been pursuing you long before you typed those words.

We know that taking a step toward faith can feel weighty. Sometimes we think we need to have everything worked out first, all our questions answered, all our regrets cleaned up. But salvation begins the moment you turn toward Jesus just as you are. It’s not about having perfect words or feelings; it’s about handing your life over to the One who gave His for you.

Here’s something simple you can do today: find a quiet moment and talk to God directly. Tell Him you believe that Jesus is Lord and that He died and rose for you. Acknowledge the things you need to leave behind, and ask Him to give you a new start. That’s not a magic formula, it’s the start of a real relationship.

Then, as you already planned, start reading the Gospel of John. Don’t rush. As you read, pay attention to who Jesus actually is, and let His words and actions reshape how you see God. You might also reach out to a local, Bible-believing church where someone can walk alongside you. You weren’t meant to figure all this out alone.

Jesus, thank You for drawing this searching heart. Quiet the noise and fear that can crowd this moment, and give the simple, childlike trust needed to believe and confess. Bring them into the new life You promised, full of forgiveness, healing, and hope. Walk with them through John’s Gospel and into a life that’s anchored in You. In Your name, Amen.

You come with the words of Romans upon your lips, and that is well, for they are the very words of life. To confess with the mouth the Lord Jesus and to believe in the heart that God has raised Him from the dead, this is the apostolic gospel, and in it lies the certainty of salvation. Yet let us not handle such a text as though it were a mere incantation, a form of words to be recited without the inward work of the Spirit. The heart must believe, and the confession must leap from a living faith. True belief is no nodding of the head; it is the casting of the entire soul upon the finished work of Christ, the clinging of a drowning man to the rope let down from heaven.

You also speak of confessing and turning from sins, and this is most necessary. But take care that your repentance is not the repentance of the flesh, wrought by mere terror of judgment, which leaves the heart still in love with evil. Many there are who repent after a fashion and yet never give God glory. They tremble under the law but do not fly to the cross. Saving repentance is that gracious work of the Holy Spirit whereby the sinner, seeing the hatefulness of his transgression and the love of the bleeding Savior, turns from sin with loathing because it nailed Christ to the tree. It is a repentance that makes a rainbow with her tears of grief for sin and her glances of hope at the love of Christ. This is the repentance that needs not to be repented of. Weigh your repentance by these scales, I pray you: does it give God glory? Does it drive you out of self to Christ alone?

Study the Gospels, yes, begin with John, that golden book which sets forth the deity and the saving purpose of the Word made flesh. But let your reading be an act of obedience, not a lazy perusal. Faith without works is dead, and obedience is the very fruit of faith. Noah’s faith was proven by his exact obedience; he did all that God commanded him, and so must we. The path of salvation is a path of separatedness from the world and of scrupulous attention to the Master’s will. You cannot live with the world and live with Christ. Obedience is the highest practical courage, and its essence lies in its exactness, turning neither to the right hand nor to the left. Yet let that obedience be the child of faith, not the parent of it. You are not saved because you obey; you obey because you are saved.

Think not that you must tarry for a long season of preparation before you may lay hold of Christ. The command is for this very moment. As soon as the soul looks to Jesus, repenting and believing, salvation is given. There are no conditions of salvation besides faith; repentance is not a price but a gift. You cannot draw it up from your own heart as from a well; ask Christ to work it in you by His Spirit. The fountain is open; come and welcome, without money and without price. He who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ has everlasting life, and the evidence of that life will be a heartfelt, cheerful, prompt obedience to all His commands. May the Lord grant you that repentance which is unto life, and the faith which works by love, that you may confess Him with your mouth and follow Him with your feet all the days of your pilgrimage.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have set forth well the path of salvation, recalling the Apostle’s words: "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." This is the short word, the concise way by which faith lays hold of righteousness and deliverance. Yet mark this: even that faith is not wholly your own, for you were not the first to draw near; you were called. Grace preceded you, so that not even the act of believing springs from yourself alone.

You add rightly that one must also turn from sins. That is the very note of true repentance. John the Baptist did nothing else but bring people to a sense of their own sins, that they might condemn themselves and so desire a Redeemer. For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted. The Lord does not take away this remedy; though the cross is one sacrifice, never to be repeated, repentance remains a healing fountain for those who fall.

Therefore, why do you direct them to read the Gospels, starting with John? Because in those living words they encounter the One who said, "Upon this rock I will build my church," when Peter confessed Him. That confession, sincere and whole, is the foundation. Yet a mere outward confession is not enough unless the heart believes unto righteousness and the life bears fruits worthy of repentance. Let them mourn not for worldly losses but for sin, and let them apply the remedies God has given: alms, prayer, compunction, humility, a contrite heart.

Salvation is not in carnal lineage or empty ritual, but in this living faith that works by love. So encourage all who seek: confess Jesus as Lord from a believing heart, flee from sin with sincere sorrow, and obey His commands. Read John, yes, and all the Scriptures, but do the word, not only hear it. Then the short word of faith will carry them into the fullness of grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
