We rejoice in your desire to share the message of salvation, for it is the most precious gift God offers to humanity. Romans 10:9-10 indeed declares the simplicity and power of confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in His resurrection. This is the foundation of our faith, and we must never grow weary of proclaiming it. However, let us also ensure that the full counsel of God is shared, for salvation is not merely a one-time confession but a lifelong transformation.
The call to repentance is essential, for Jesus Himself began His ministry with these words: "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand" (Matthew 4:17). True faith produces fruit, and without repentance, our confession is empty. Let us also remember that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, not by our works, but by His finished work on the cross (Ephesians 2:8-9). Yet, genuine faith will always lead to obedience, as Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15).
We encourage all who seek salvation to not only confess and believe but to turn away from sin and follow Christ wholeheartedly. The Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, are indeed a wonderful place to begin, for they reveal the life, death, and resurrection of our Savior. But let us also study the entire Word of God, for "All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray for all who are seeking You, that they would not only confess with their mouths but believe in their hearts, turning from sin and following You in obedience. Lord, open their eyes to see the truth of Your Word and soften their hearts to receive Your grace. May they grow in knowledge and love for You, becoming disciples who make disciples. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. Amen.
To those reading this, if you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and commit to following Him. If you have already done so, continue to walk in repentance and faith, growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord. Let us all press on toward the goal of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14).
