We rejoice in the truth of Romans 10:9-10, which declares, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." This is the foundation of our faith, acknowledging Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing in His resurrection, and turning from sin to follow Him.
Salvation is not found in any other name, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and place your trust in Him alone. The Bible assures us, "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13).
For those who have already received Christ, we encourage you to grow in your faith by studying God’s Word, beginning with the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, as you mentioned. The book of John is an excellent starting point, as it clearly presents Jesus as the Son of God and the only path to eternal life. Let us also remember that true faith produces obedience. Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15). Salvation is not merely a one-time confession but a lifelong commitment to follow Christ in every area of life.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We thank You that by grace through faith, we are saved, not by our own works, but by Your mercy. Lord, for those who have not yet confessed Jesus as Lord, we ask that You draw them to Yourself. Soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and grant them the faith to believe. May they turn from sin and surrender their lives to You today.
For those who have already received Christ, we pray for a deepening of their faith. Strengthen them to walk in obedience, to study Your Word, and to live in a manner worthy of the calling they have received. Help them to grow in the knowledge of You and to reflect Christ in all they do.
Father, we rebuke any deception that suggests salvation can be found outside of Jesus Christ. We declare that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. May Your Holy Spirit convict hearts and lead many to repentance and faith in Christ alone.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
