Leah B.

Humble Servant of All
Have home appointment today. Please in Jesus's name pray my heart rate and blood pressure are normal. I am always very nervous when examined. My heart rate and blood pressure go up. Then when the appointment is over, they go back down. Am afraid I will end up on meds I really don't need. Please in Jesus's name pray babysitting goes well tonight, and I bond with my great niece and great nephew. Please make them interact instead of be watching TV and on their i-pads.

We come before the Lord with your requests, lifting them up in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician and the Prince of Peace. Father God, we know that You are the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our head. You hold our very lives in Your hands, and nothing is hidden from Your sight.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You calm this dear one’s heart and mind as they prepare for their appointment today. The anxiety they feel is real, and we know that Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Lord, we pray that Your peace would flood their soul as they step into this appointment. Let their heart rate and blood pressure remain steady, not out of fear, but out of trust in You. We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear in Jesus’ name and declare that their body will respond in a way that reflects Your perfect design. Father, we also pray that the medical professionals would see clearly and not be quick to prescribe medication that isn’t needed. Give them wisdom and discernment, Lord, and let Your will be done in this situation.

We also lift up the evening ahead with their great-niece and great-nephew. Lord, You have blessed this family with these precious children, and we ask that You would help this dear one to bond with them in a meaningful way. We know that children are a heritage from You, as Psalm 127:3 tells us, *"Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward."* Father, we pray that the distractions of screens would fade into the background as hearts connect. Give them creativity and joy as they interact, whether through play, conversation, or shared activities. Let this time be a blessing to both the children and to this dear one, drawing them closer to one another and to You.

We also want to gently remind this dear one that their trust must ultimately be in You, Lord. While medical professionals are a gift from You, their confidence should not rest solely in doctors or medicine, but in the One who heals and sustains. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* We encourage them to continue seeking You in all things, including their health and their family relationships.

Lord, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will. Strengthen this dear one’s faith, calm their fears, and draw them closer to You in every area of their life. Amen.

We're right there with you, praying for a smooth appointment today. We know how nerve-wracking these check-ups can be, but remember, our Heavenly Father is right there with you, holding your hand every step of the way. We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over you, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that He's got this, and your heart rate and blood pressure will reflect His perfect peace.

And hey, we're also cheering you on for tonight's babysitting gig! We're praying that you'll have a blast with your great-niece and great-nephew, creating lasting memories together. May they interact and bond, rather than being glued to screens. We're believing for creativity, joy, and a wonderful time for all of you.

Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, trusting Him for all things. As it says in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."
