Fission Meeting

Dear Lord Jesus, Thankfully, my friend’s boss was a lot nicer to him today, but he plans on having a division of meetings, so please make sure it is good and it saves his job. Do not make him quite his job. Let him keep his job and go on for a long In Jesus Name Amen.

We rejoice with you in hearing that your friend's boss was much nicer to him today and we thank God for that small mercy, for every good gift comes from the Father. We join you in praying for these upcoming division meetings and for your friend's employment, that the Lord would grant favor, wisdom, and stability.

We are reminded that God cares about our daily work and provision. We are called to commit our work to Him and to trust Him with the outcome, as it is written commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3 and whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. We also take comfort that even in uncertain times at work, we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28. Your friend's job is in God's hands, and we pray he will not act hastily to quit but will seek God's guidance with patience and diligence.

We also hear your heart to see your friend keep his job for a long time, and we share that desire while trusting God's perfect will, for He knows what is best for your friend's future. We are encouraged that you brought this before the Lord Jesus, for in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we thank You for Your kindness in softening the heart of this boss today. We lift up our friend's friend to You and ask for Your hand upon these upcoming meetings. Grant him favor in the eyes of his boss and coworkers, give him clarity of mind and words to speak with grace and wisdom, and let his work be done excellently as unto You. We ask that if it is Your will, You would secure his position and provide continued employment for a long time, that he may provide for his needs and be a light for You in that workplace. We pray also for his boss, that You would give him a fair and compassionate heart. Guard our friend from fear and anxiety, and fill him with Your peace as he waits on You. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We were encouraged to read your update that your friend's boss was kinder today. That little change can mean so much when a job feels uncertain, and we join you in thanking God for that mercy.

We hear how much you care for your friend and how much you want these upcoming division meetings to go well and for his job to be secure. Waiting for meetings like that can keep the mind and body on edge, and it helps to have steady support around him right now.

One simple way we can come alongside him is to help him go into those meetings as clear and calm as possible. If he is open to it, you might offer to pray with him beforehand and help him jot down a few brief notes about his work, any questions he has, and what he hopes to understand from the meetings. Having it written down can make it easier to listen well and remember what was said afterward.

We are praying with you for wisdom for his leaders and for peace and provision for your friend whatever the outcome.

Father, we lift this friend to You, You see his work and his needs. Give him favor and clarity in these meetings, guide his managers with wisdom, and provide for him and his family. Guard his heart with Your peace as he waits, and help him sense Your nearness. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join with you in thanking the Lord that He has shown a measure of kindness through your friend's employer today, for every softening of the heart and every respite in trial comes from His gracious hand. We have heard your burden concerning this division of meetings and the fear that your friend may lose his place, and we bring it before the throne of grace with you.

You do well to cast this care upon the Lord in childlike confidence, even as Job did when the Lord revealed Himself. Job was sorely tried in his estate and in his standing among men, yet it is written, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. He fell down upon the ground and worshipped, and God sustained him. So may your friend be upheld in this hour of uncertainty, kept from hasty speech or despair, and enabled to wait patiently upon the Lord who is able to support His people in all their losses and fears.

We pray that the Lord, who is the God of mercy and who turns to His people in a way of grace to display His favor, would grant wisdom and calm in these coming meetings. May He give your friend favor in the eyes of those set over him, may He guide the words spoken and the decisions made, and may He, if it be His good will, preserve this employment for long usefulness and provision. And if the Lord has a higher purpose in this trial, as He had with Job, we pray He would make it plain and give grace to accept it, knowing that our longest sorrows have a close when God has gotten His end in them.

Remember also that the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. Continue to intercede for your friend as Job did, and for those in authority over him, that God would be glorified in all. Let us ask that your friend may be kept from quitting in haste, but may act with prudence, integrity and faith, trusting that the Lord will provide and will not suffer His own to be tried beyond what they are able to bear.

May the Lord grant peace to your heart as you pray, and fresh oil and renewed strength to your friend for whatever lies ahead. We commend him to the Keeper who never slumbers, praying that the outcome of these meetings may be for his good and for the glory of God, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We thank God with you that your friend found his boss kinder today, and we join you in praying for what lies ahead.

It is a beautiful thing to see you carry your friend's need as your own, for a genuine friend prays for his friend as for himself and finds joy in his good. As you have remembered him before the Lord, we will remember him also.

We ask the Lord Jesus to have mercy on your friend, to give him favor in this division of meetings, to grant him wisdom and steadiness in his work, and to preserve his job if it is according to God's good will. We pray that he will not be driven to quit, but that he may continue and be established, providing honestly through his labor.

In times of uncertainty at work, remember that when God is favorable to us, we need not fear what man shall do. Like Job, who endured loss and trial and yet stood firm, your friend can learn through this pressure to trust not in the kindness of a boss alone, but in God who remains faithful in every circumstance. Whether the outcome is ease or hardship, let him seek first to be right with God, to do his work faithfully, and to cast his anxiety upon Christ who cares for him.

We pray that God will give him peace, diligence, and humility in these meetings, and that the result will be for his good and for God's glory. May the Lord guide his steps, provide for his needs, and keep him long in honest work as God wills. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.

It is encouraging to hear your thankfulness that your friend's boss was kinder today, and your desire to pray for him as he faces this next round of meetings about his job is a good and loving thing to do.

The story of Job speaks directly to moments like this. That book is one of the oldest in the Bible, going back perhaps to the time of Abraham, yet the problems it describes are still our problems today. Cultures have changed, but the deepest questions of life, the need for security, for provision, for understanding why things happen at work and at home, remain the same.

What is so helpful about Job is the background we are given that Job himself could not see. God spoke of Job as an upright man who loved what is good and hated evil. At the same time, the enemy had been watching Job closely, studying him and forming a theory about him, that Job only trusted God because God had put a hedge of blessing and protection around him and made him prosper. God allowed Job to be tested, not because He had abandoned him, but to show what was true about Job's faith. Job did not understand what was happening and he cried out honestly to God, even wishing he had never been born, because the pain and confusion were so great.

That is a comfort for your friend and for you. There are times when God is at work even when it feels as if He has turned away. His ways are not our ways and are beyond our ability to figure out, as Isaiah declares, and we will not always understand why a boss acts a certain way or why a job feels insecure. Job's friends came to comfort him but they ended up rebuking him, telling him he must have done something wrong and that he just needed to get right with God and everything would be fixed. They did not truly help him. True help came only when Job brought his honest questions directly to God, and when God revealed Himself, Job found forgiveness and restoration.

God sees your friend completely, just as He saw Job. He knows the pressures at his workplace, the meeting that is planned, and the fear of losing his livelihood. Nothing about his situation is hidden from the Lord.

We can pray that God will give your friend favor in these meetings, grant him wisdom in how he speaks and works, and provide for his needs. We can also pray that he will not make a hasty decision to quit out of discouragement, but will seek the Lord, listen for His word, and find peace in trusting Him with the outcome. Whether the job is preserved for a long time or the Lord leads in another direction, we can trust that God will preserve and keep His own and use even difficult circumstances for good.

Father, in the name of Jesus we thank You that You heard prayer and showed kindness through this boss today. We ask You to be with this man as he goes into these meetings. Give him clarity, calmness, and favor. Provide for his needs and guide his steps. Help him to trust You when he does not understand, to bring his burdens honestly to You, and to rest in the knowledge that You are working even when it is hard to see. Give him strength to remain faithful in his work and wisdom to know what to do. May he know Your presence and Your provision in the days ahead. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been lifting up your friend before the Lord and thanking Him with you that his boss was much nicer to him and showed him kindness. We continue to pray for the upcoming division of meetings that you mentioned, that the Lord would give your friend favor, peace and wisdom, that the meetings would go well and that the outcome would be the preservation of his job. We have prayed that he would not feel led to quit and that the Lord would allow him to keep his job and continue in it for a long time, as we trust in the promise of Philippians 4:6.

If your request was answered and your friend has seen continued kindness and security in his job, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
