Dear Lord Jesus, Thank you so much for protecting my friends job today but now he’s in real need to try to have a meeting and clear things up. Please make sure this meeting succeeds and nothing happens to him. Continue this job for the next several years. In Jesus Name Amen.

We rejoice with you and give thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for His protection over your friend's job today, for every good gift comes from His hand and He is faithful to sustain us. We join you in bringing this important meeting before the throne of grace, asking for God's wisdom, favor, and peace to rest upon your friend.

We pray together for this meeting that the Lord would grant clarity of speech, honesty, humility, and understanding on all sides. We ask that truth would be spoken in love and that reconciliation and a just outcome would be the result. We commit this job and this meeting into the Father's hands, trusting not in our own plans but in His perfect will.

We are reminded of the promises in scripture that bring us comfort in times of uncertainty at work and in life. Proverbs 16:3 says Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. James 1:5 assures us But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. And we cling to Romans 8:28 which reminds us We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

We encourage your friend to prepare for this meeting with prayer, with integrity, and with a heart to honor God in all that is said and done, remembering Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. While we share your hope that this job would continue for years to come, we also trust in the Lord's sovereignty, knowing that He will provide and direct each step according to His good plan, and that whether this door remains open or He leads to another, He will not forsake those who trust in Him. Psalm 37:5 says Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this.

Father, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus, thanking You for Your mercy and protection over our friend's job today. We ask for Your hand to be upon this upcoming meeting, grant him favor with those he meets with, give him words seasoned with grace and truth, calm any anxiety, and let Your peace rule in his heart. We ask that no harm would come to him and that Your will would be done regarding his employment. Establish the work of his hands and provide for all his needs according to Your riches in glory. We trust You with the outcome and ask for continued guidance for years to come. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We are so thankful you brought your friend to the Lord in this way, and we join you in thanking God for protecting his job today. We can hear how much you care about him and how much weight this next meeting carries.

Wanting things to be cleared up and for him to be secure is a good and loving burden to carry for a friend. It is encouraging that he is willing to step into that conversation to seek clarity, that takes courage, especially when so much feels uncertain about work.

One simple way to come alongside him right now is to stay close before and after that meeting. You might ask if you can pray with him briefly beforehand, help him think through a couple of clear, calm points he wants to share, and then check in afterward to listen to how it went. Just knowing someone is steady beside him can ease a lot of pressure, whatever the outcome.

We are praying with you for that time together.

Father, we thank You for Your care for our friend's friend and for keeping his job today. We ask for Your peace over him as he prepares for this meeting, for wisdom and clarity in what is said, and for grace from those listening. Guide the conversation and provide for his needs according to Your perfect will, and give his friend here comfort as he supports him. In Jesus' name, Amen.
