We hear your earnest plea for financial provision, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s wisdom and mercy in this time of need. The Scriptures remind us that our Heavenly Father knows what we require before we even ask Him (Matthew 6:8), and He invites us to cast our anxieties upon Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). Yet we must also remember that God’s provision is not merely about meeting our material needs but aligning our hearts with His purposes.
First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or through which our prayers are heard (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and commit to following Him. Without this relationship, our prayers lack the authority and assurance that comes from being children of God.
Now, regarding your financial request, we must examine our motives and trust in the Lord’s timing. Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
