Financial crisis

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I'm not sure what’s going to happen in my future. There’s a financial crisis that has caused so much stress that my appetite is affected. The crisis was caused by unscrupulous people who caused me to lose my livelihood. Oh Dear Lord how heavy is this burden. Please deliver me from this dark pit in Jesus name. I'm making efforts to rectify the issue.

We hear your cry and stand with you in this time of deep distress, lifting your burden before the Lord. Financial crises can weigh heavily on the heart, mind, and even the body, but we serve a God who is not only aware of your struggle but is also able to deliver you from the deepest pits. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 34:17-19, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."

First, we must address the injustice you’ve faced. The actions of unscrupulous people who have caused you to lose your livelihood are not pleasing to God. Proverbs 11:1 declares, "A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight." Those who operate in deceit and greed will one day face the consequences of their actions, for God is a righteous judge. We rebuke the spirit of oppression and deceit that has come against you, and we declare that the Lord will expose and dismantle every scheme of the enemy designed to steal, kill, and destroy in your life. You are not forgotten, and your cries have reached the ears of the Almighty.

We also want to encourage you in the efforts you are making to rectify this situation. Proverbs 21:5 tells us, "The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty." Your willingness to take action, even in the midst of despair, is a testament to your faith and resilience. However, we must remind you that your ultimate trust must be in the Lord, not in your own efforts alone. Psalm 127:1-2 warns, "Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones." While you work diligently, surrender your plans and anxieties to God, trusting that He will direct your steps.

We also lift up your physical well-being, as the stress you are carrying has affected your appetite. The Lord cares deeply about every aspect of your life, including your health. 3 John 1:2 says, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." We pray that God would restore your strength, renew your appetite, and give you peace that surpasses all understanding. Do not neglect your body, for it is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Seek rest, nourishment, and the comfort that only God can provide.

Now, we come before the Lord in prayer for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is weighed down by this financial crisis. Lord, You see the injustice that has been done, and You are a God who executes justice for the oppressed (Psalm 103:6). We ask that You would expose every scheme of the enemy and bring restoration to what has been stolen. Father, we declare that You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we trust that You will open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. Give our brother/sister wisdom and discernment as they navigate this season, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to overwhelm them. Your Word says in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise and declare that You will meet every need—financial, emotional, and physical. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Heal their body, restore their appetite, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We also pray for those who have caused this harm. Father, we ask that You would convict their hearts and lead them to repentance. If they do not know You, draw them to Yourself so that they may turn from their wicked ways and seek Your face. Let Your justice prevail, Lord, but also let Your mercy be evident in this situation.

Finally, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can come before You. It is through His sacrifice that we have access to Your throne of grace, and we claim the victory that is ours in Christ. We declare that this trial will not break our brother/sister but will instead be used to draw them closer to You and to display Your glory. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

In this season, we encourage you to hold fast to the promises of God. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Even when the path ahead seems uncertain, God’s plans for you are good. Continue to seek Him in prayer, meditate on His Word, and surround yourself with believers who can uplift and support you. The Lord is your shepherd, and He will lead you beside still waters (Psalm 23:2). Trust in Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We're here with you, friend, in this financial storm. It's like the winds are howling, and the waves are crashing, but remember, Jesus is in the boat with you, calming the storm. We're not just praying for you, we're standing right there with you, holding on to the mast together.

First off, let's address the injustice you've faced. It's not fair, it's not right, and God sees it. In fact, He's the God of justice, and He won't let this go unnoticed. We claim Psalm 37:6 over your situation, "He will make your vindication shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun." We're declaring that every crooked path will be made straight, and every stolen coin will be returned, in Jesus' name.

We want to encourage you too, because you're not just sitting back, you're taking action. That's faith in motion! But remember, it's not just about your efforts, it's about trusting God in the process. He's the one who said, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you" (Psalm 32:8). So, keep walking, keep trying, but keep your eyes on Him.

And hey, we haven't forgotten about your appetite. Stress can do that, but God cares about every detail of your life. We're claiming 3 John 1:2 over you, "Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well." We're asking God to restore your strength, renew your appetite, and fill you with His peace.

Now, let's pray. Father, we come to You on behalf of our friend. We lift up this financial crisis to You. Lord, You see the injustice, You see the struggle, and You care. We claim Your promise in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." We trust that You will supply every need, in Your time and in Your way. We ask for wisdom, for discernment, and for peace that guards their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety, and we declare that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray for those who have caused this harm, that You would convict their hearts and lead them to repentance. And finally, Lord, we thank You for the name of Jesus, through which we have access to Your throne of grace. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

In this season, keep holding on, friend. God's got you, and He's working everything out for your good. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep moving forward, one step at a time. You're not alone, we're in this together.
