Financial Blessing

Dear Heavenly Father, my family and I are struggling financially. We are in need of a financial blessing. It's gotten to the point where we are behind in things, can't even afford to pay doctor bills. It's starting to really stress us out and we don't want to lose anything. I pray for a financial blessing to come our way, and help getting rid of the debt we have. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

We join with you in bringing this burden before our Heavenly Father, and we thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5, and In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We rejoice that you have come in that precious name.

We hear the heaviness of your heart as you and your family face financial struggle, falling behind, unable to pay doctor bills, and carrying the weight of debt and stress. We know this fear of losing what you have, and we bring it to the Lord together.

The Scripture reminds us that our Father knows our needs and cares deeply for us. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. And Jesus Himself tells us, But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. He also says, Don’t be anxious, saying, What will we eat? or What will we drink? or With what will we be clothed? For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things Matthew 6:31-32.

We also hear your anxiety, and God invites us to exchange that anxiety for His peace. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7.

We want to encourage you with godly wisdom as you wait on the Lord's provision. God honors diligent work and faithful stewardship. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men Colossians 3:23. The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty Proverbs 21:5. For which of you, desiring to build a tower, doesn’t first sit down and count the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it Luke 14:28. We encourage you to seek wise counsel, to make a careful budget, to be faithful in little things, to avoid further debt where possible, for The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender Proverbs 22:7, and to continue to trust God rather than placing hope in riches themselves, for the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil 1 Timothy 6:10.

We pray together for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this dear family to You. You see their needs, their bills, their debt, and the stress that weighs on them. We ask for Your mercy and provision according to Your perfect will. Open doors for work and opportunity, give them wisdom to steward what You have provided, and help them to owe no one anything except to love one another Romans 13:8. Provide for their daily needs and for those doctor bills, and give them peace that passes all understanding as they cast their cares on You. Help them to keep their eyes on You, seeking first Your Kingdom, trusting that You will not forsake the righteous Psalm 37:25. Guard their home from loss and give them hope and unity as they walk through this trial together, remembering that You cause all things to work together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. Strengthen their faith, remind them that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and lead them into freedom from debt and into contentment in You. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, Amen.

We are holding you and your family in prayer as you carry this financial weight. Falling behind on bills and not being able to cover doctor bills is exhausting, and it makes sense you are feeling stressed and worried about losing what you have worked so hard for.

Ongoing financial pressure can wear on more than a budget. When the worry stretches on for months with little break, it affects sleep, health, and peace, and leaves you feeling on edge even when you are trying to rest. Naming that can help you give yourself grace as you look for steady next steps.

One practical step that often helps is to invite another set of eyes onto the numbers with you. You do not have to sort it all out alone. Many local churches and community agencies offer free help with budgeting and debt management, and nonprofit financial counselors can walk through a plan for bills and debt at no cost. For the medical bills, it can be worth calling the provider's billing office to ask about payment plans or assistance programs they may have.

You are not forgotten in this, and we are asking God to walk with you through each decision ahead.

Father, we lift this family to You and ask for Your provision and wisdom. Give them clear direction for each bill and debt, open doors for help and work, and guard their hearts with Your peace as they trust You day by day. Provide for their needs according to Your will and keep them steady in Your care. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer in this time of pressing want has been carried before the Lord, and we have entreated Him on behalf of you and your household. To be behind in debts, to face doctor bills you cannot meet, and to feel the stress that comes with the fear of losing what you have, is a heavy trial indeed, and the Lord sees it all.

We would lovingly remind you of what you already know in your heart, that anxiety itself has never comforted any soul, nor has it ever brought any grist to the mill or any meal to the barrel. If a thing does not pay, what is the good of it. The very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. It clouds the mind, weakens the hands, and steals the peace that you need to seek wisdom and to labour faithfully. Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you, and let prayer take the place of fretting.

Take comfort also in how the Lord is pleased to provide for His people. Though the starving citizens of Samaria did not know it, the Lord had made provision in abundance for all their hunger, and there it was within a stone's throw of the city gates. The Lord had done it. So too we remember the widow's barrel, which did not fail. The meal which she brought to the prophet was taken out of her store and yet not taken out of it, for it was meal given her by miracle, the first installment of miraculous provision. Our God still owns the barrel and the cruse, and He is able to make provision where you see no way. We do not preach that faith is a means to demand riches, but we do preach a Father who knows your need and who can open doors of work, wisdom in stewardship, help from His people, and daily bread in unexpected ways.

Yet in your honest confession of debt, let us speak also of a greater debt. By nature we are all in debt to Divine Justice and hopelessly bankrupt, for we cannot meet one in a million of the claims that are recorded against us. Even if we should serve God without a flaw to the end of our life, there is the old debt still due, for God requires the years that are past. This is why our greatest need is not only relief from temporal debt, but deliverance from that eternal debt through Jesus Christ alone, who paid what we never could. If you have believed in Him, that great account is settled, and you are no longer a prisoner. If you have not yet rested wholly upon Him, we urge you to do so now, for there is no peace until that debt is answered by His blood.

We have prayed for you after this manner, that the Lord in His mercy would grant you relief and guidance, that He would provide for your daily needs, give you wisdom to order your affairs, open right means to meet these bills, and help you and those to whom you owe to deal graciously as one would help a friend who is in debt and in need. Above all we have asked that He would lift the weight of anxious care from your heart and give you a quiet trust in His fatherly hand, that you may seek first His kingdom and know that needful things shall be added.

May the Lord keep you from despair, sustain your family, and show you day by day that His hand is not shortened. Look to Him, labour with diligence, seek godly counsel in the management of what He entrusts to you, and let your requests be made known unto God with thanksgiving. He who fed the widow will not forget His own.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

We may make plans but it is God's purposes and plans that will prevail. And that is a good thing because we might miss out on the goodness of God if we just stick to our own plans. "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give...
