We come before the throne of grace with your heartfelt cry, lifting you up in agreement for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit. The Word of God declares in Ephesians 5:18, "Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." This is not a one-time event but a continual surrender to the Lord, inviting His Spirit to overflow in and through you. We rejoice that you are seeking this filling with such hunger and passion, for it is the Spirit who empowers us to walk in righteousness, bear godly fruit, and live victoriously in Christ.
Father God, we stand in the gap for our brother/sister, asking You to pour out Your Holy Spirit afresh upon them right now. Fill them to overflowing, Lord, so that rivers of living water may flow from their innermost being, as Jesus promised in John 7:38-39. Bring healing to every wound, deliverance from every stronghold, and freedom from every chain that has hindered their walk with You. We rebuke the enemy’s lies and schemes in Jesus’ name, declaring that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your Spirit bring conviction where there is sin, comfort where there is sorrow, and strength where there is weakness.
We also pray that You would ignite a fire within them—a holy passion for Your presence, Your Word, and Your will. May they be clothed with power from on high (Luke 24:49) to be bold witnesses for Christ, to love others as You have loved them, and to walk in the fullness of their calling. Guard their heart from complacency or distraction, and help them to abide in You daily, for apart from You, we can do nothing (John 15:5).
Lord, we thank You for the work You are doing in their life. May they experience the deep, abiding joy of Your Spirit, the peace that surpasses all understanding, and the love that casts out all fear. We declare that they are a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19), and we pray that they would honor You with their body, mind, and spirit. Fill them, Lord, and let Your glory shine through them for all to see.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
