Your prayer from Ephesians 3 has been heard and I join you in bowing our knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with you.
What you have asked is the very heart of what the Apostle prayed for the church, that according to the riches of His glory you would be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your heart through faith. This is not a distant hope but a present reality when we are rooted and grounded in love, clothed with Christ Himself so that He is both within us as our life and around us as our covering.
You ask to know the dimensions of Christ's love, its width and length and depth and height. That love indeed passes all human knowledge and is above our reasoning, yet it can be known when Christ dwells in us by the Holy Spirit. As we walk in faith and love, God grants us to comprehend it together with all His holy people, not by our own understanding alone but by His power working in us. And to be filled to all the fullness of God is to be filled with every virtue with which God Himself is full, and to know how He is worshiped as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, growing into maturity in Him.
So I pray for you now that the Lord will grant this strength in your inner person, that your heart would be a dwelling place for Christ, that you would be firmly rooted in love and enabled to grasp more and more how great and transcendent His love for you truly is, and that you would be filled with His fullness. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
