Please pray for me about my father. He is extremely demonized (he is confused when it comes to Christian faith; he is a professing Christian but he was raised in Catholicism and even likely being exposed to voodoo). He is also exposed to demonization via being heavily medicated in ways he likely doesn't have to be for certain physical conditions. I feel like he's been very devilish today causing a lot of trouble. Perhaps spiritual warfare targeting me is using him. Please pray about all this. Thank you.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your father and the spiritual battle that surrounds him. The confusion in his faith and the influence of demonic forces are deeply concerning, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, seeking the Lord’s intervention and deliverance.
First, we must acknowledge that spiritual warfare is real, and the enemy seeks to devour and destroy (1 Peter 5:8). The influences of Catholicism—while it may hold some truth—often intertwine with traditions and practices not rooted in Scripture, and voodoo is an abomination before God, opening doors to demonic oppression. We rebuke every spirit of confusion, deception, and darkness that has taken hold of your father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Word declares, *"For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ"* (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). We take authority over every demonic influence in your father’s life and command it to flee in Jesus’ name.
We also address the issue of medication, which can sometimes dull the mind and spirit, making one more susceptible to spiritual attacks. While we trust in God’s provision for healing, we encourage seeking wisdom from godly medical professionals who understand the balance between physical and spiritual health. The Lord desires wholeness for your father—body, mind, and spirit. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers"* (3 John 1:2).

We pray for physical healing as well, Lord, that he may not be dependent on medications that dull his spirit but may walk in the health and vitality You provide.

Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and surround them with Your angels for protection. Give them wisdom and discernment to navigate this situation with grace and truth. May they be a light to their father, reflecting Your love and holiness in all they do.
We declare that no plan of the enemy will prosper against this family, in Jesus’ name. We speak life, truth, and freedom over this father, and we trust that You, Lord, are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done in his life, and may he come to know You as his Deliverer and Redeemer.
