Father we are approaching that special time of the year, when we come together with family members hopefully to celebrate the birth of your son Jesus Christ. I pray whatever our circumstances that this season will be a time of reflection, thanksgiving, joy and peace.. Thank you Father for the precious gift of your son, and that through him because of his finished work on the cross, we can now come boldly before your throne acceptable in your sight . Father we thank you that he bore all our sins so that we may be set free from the penalty of sin . We thank you for your amazing grace, for your love and underserved favour in our lives. You died for us Lord , help to live for you, and may we never forget , and be eternally grateful for the sacrifice of your dear son for us . I stand all amazed at the love Jesus offers me . Let us not forget what Christmas is about and let us give thanks at this time of the year for the many ways in which we are blessed, for all the little things we take for granted. May we all have an enjoyable Christmas season and a happy and peaceful Christmas day. God bless you all . In Jesus name amen .
