Your burden has been heard and we are bringing it before the Lord with you in prayer. The fear and anxiety you describe when facing threats from your own mother, the worry over your child and over provision, and the pain of seeing your daughters pulled away are heavy trials, and God sees every part of them.

Scripture commands us to honor father and mother, and that honor remains even when a relationship is broken and painful. Honoring does not mean inviting harm or pretending that what is false is true. It means speaking truth without cursing, refusing to return evil for evil, and leaving justice in the hands of God who judges righteously. He is the one who brings what is hidden into the light, who protects the vulnerable, and who frees His people from crushing anxiety and fear.

We are praying for you in this way.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son through whom alone we have salvation and access to Your throne, we lift up this dear parent and child to You. You know the threats that have been made, the attempts to take guardianship and to take away support, and the lies and deception that have caused division in this family. We ask that You would let no unjust plan prevail, that You would guard this child and this home, and that You would give wisdom and fairness to all who have authority in these decisions. Reveal what is true and protect those who are vulnerable from manipulation.

Lord, quiet fear and anxiety with Your peace that passes understanding. Where there has been intimidation, give courage and clarity. Where there has been confusion among the children, bring truth in love and gently draw hearts back toward one another. We pray especially for the daughter who is beginning to see more clearly, that You would continue to guide her, and for the other daughter who is still distant, that You would soften her heart and keep her from bitterness.

We also pray for this mother. Have mercy on her and bring her to repentance where she has done wrong. Turn her from striving and threats to seeking what is good and peaceful. We do not ask for revenge, but for Your righteous protection and for reconciliation where it is possible and safe.

Help this dear one who is seeking to live in peace to walk closely with You, to remain steadfast in prayer and in the Word, and to be surrounded by wise and faithful counsel in the church and, where needed, by trustworthy help for legal and practical needs. Teach us all to fear You above all, to trust that no one can touch the soul that is kept in Christ, and to rest in Your care day by day.

We ask all this in the name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior. Amen.
