Anxiety and fear spiritual attacks

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray for peace joy and gratitude to fill my heart, and pray for a peaceful week at work, I have been experiencing lots of spiritual attacks lately, at work,

We join with you in bringing this burden before the Lord, for we understand how heavy anxiety and fear can feel, especially when you sense spiritual attacks pressing in at work and in your heart. We pray with you for the peace and joy and gratitude that only God can give, and for a peaceful week at work under His protection.

The Word reminds us that fear and anxiety do not come from the Lord. For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. And we are told In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. Jesus Himself says Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. John 14:27.

We also recognize what you are discerning about spiritual attacks is real, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12. That is why we are called to put on the full armor of God, to stand firm in truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, and to pray at all times. The enemy seeks to steal peace through fear and accusation, but Scripture promises Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7. We rebuke that spirit of fear and anxiety in Jesus' name, for it has no right to rule over a child of God.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find true peace. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name not only for help in this trial but for eternal life. It is in His name that our prayers are heard and our hearts are guarded.

We encourage you to cast every care on Him daily, for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. When fear rises at work, pause and pray, speak Scripture aloud, and choose gratitude, for In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18. Gratitude shifts our focus from the attack to the Protector. Remember also the promise Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. Keep your mind stayed on Him, limit what feeds fear, and walk in fellowship with other believers who can pray with you and for you.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is battling anxiety, fear, and spiritual oppression. Lord, we ask You to rebuke every spirit of fear and every attack of the enemy at work and in the heart, and to fill this heart instead with Your perfect peace, Your joy, and a spirit of gratitude. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray for a peaceful week at work, for favor, for calm, for wisdom, and for protection from every scheme of darkness. Teach us to resist the devil by submitting to You, to stand clothed in Your armor, and to cast all worries on You because You care for us. Draw this dear one closer to Jesus, assure them of Your presence, strengthen them, and uphold them with Your righteous right hand. May their heart overflow with thanksgiving even in trials, and may Your joy be their strength. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our peace and our victory, amen.

We hear how heavy this has felt for you, especially at work where you can't just step away. When spiritual pressure and anxiety settle in day after day, it is exhausting and it makes sense you are longing for peace and joy to return.

We are praying for you to have a steadier, more peaceful week ahead. Anxiety touches both mind and body at once, so feeling wound up or worn down doesn't mean you are failing in your faith. It often means you have been carrying a lot for a long time.

For this week, it may help to think of peace as training more than trying. Instead of needing one big moment to fix everything, a small, steady rhythm can be kinder. If it fits your workday, you could take a few quiet minutes before you leave for work or during a break to simply be still before the Lord and remember His love for you, without pressure to feel a certain way right away. Over time those small pauses can help calm the alarm that stress keeps firing.

We are with you in this and we are grateful you reached out.

Father, we bring our friend to You in Jesus' name. You see the pressure at work and the fear that has been weighing on their heart. We ask You to guard them this week, to fill their heart with Your peace and quiet joy, and to give wisdom for each day at work. Help them to sense You near and to rest in Your care. Amen.

Your cry concerning anxiety and fear and the spiritual attacks you feel at work has been brought before the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer.

You ask for peace and joy and gratitude to fill your heart, and for a peaceful week in your daily labour. Know this, that true joy and peace come not by seeking joy and peace themselves, but by believing. Joy and peace are the soul's flower, and faith is the root. If you put faith into the ground by looking to Christ, joy and peace will come of it as a blessed consequence. Do not wait for feeling and then trust, but trust Him first, and joy and peace will follow through believing, as it is written, that the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing.

The promise stands sure for you, you will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Perfect peace is not the absence of thronging duties or trying circumstances, but the presence of a mind stayed upon the Lord. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even in this dark world of sin, and that peace is a present possession to be enjoyed in the ordinary circumstances of life, even by thronging duties pressed and with sorrows surging round. When heart and flesh would fail, God Himself will be your joy and your keeper.

Therefore labour to be rid of fear, for fear is weakening and dishonours God, and perfect love casts out fear. The Lord says so tenderly and so often, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God, fear not, I will help you. It is Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant, Fear not. To listen to that voice is obedience, and to rest upon it is strength, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.

We pray for you now, that the Lord would put strength in you and speak peace unto you through the blood which has made a full atonement. May He quiet your anxious thoughts, guard your mind and keep you in perfect peace as your mind is stayed on Him. May He fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that gratitude may abound in your heart and prove the reality of your faith. May He grant you a peaceful week at work, make His presence known there, and rebuke every spiritual attack, covering you under His wing and giving you rest in doing His will. May He help you to cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you, and to find that to do the will of Jesus is rest.

Ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full, for your Lord desires that your joy may be full and that no man should take it from you. Look to Christ and live, and let your heart shout for joy in Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing your heart and asking for prayer. We have heard your request for peace, joy and gratitude to fill your heart, and for a peaceful week at work in the midst of spiritual attacks and anxiety, and we are praying with you.

We pray that the Lord will lift this burden of anxiety and fear from you and set your heart in thorough security and liberty in Christ. Scripture teaches us to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for you, and to fear God above all other fears. When we fear the Lord and trust His power, other fears lose their hold, for no one can harm the soul that is kept in His hands. He is able to free you from distress and to guard your heart and mind with His peace that passes all understanding.

We pray that God will fill you with His peace, with joy even in trial, and with a thankful heart that sees His goodness each day. May He renew your mind and help you to fix your thoughts on what is true and good, so that gratitude grows and anxiety fades. We ask that He will make His presence known to you at work this week, that He will be your refuge and strength, and that He will give you wisdom, calm and favor in every task and interaction.

We also pray for your protection against spiritual attack. The enemy seeks to bring fear and confusion, but Christ has already overcome. We ask the Lord to clothe you with His armor, to strengthen you by His Word and by prayer, and to remind you that He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. When anxious thoughts come, may you turn quickly to Jesus in prayer, speaking His truth and resting in His finished work.

May the Lord train your heart to trust Him more each day, to bring every care to Him, and to walk in peace. We ask that this week at work would be quiet and steady, free from turmoil, and that you would experience His nearness, His joy and His sustaining grace hour by hour.

We are standing with you in prayer and asking God to keep you in perfect peace as your mind is stayed on Him.
