Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for ###, who spoke falsely against me, that they would come to truth, repentance, and peace—and for my own healing and forgiveness.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation where false testimony has been spoken. The pain of being wronged by words is deep, and we acknowledge the hurt that has been caused. Scripture tells us in Proverbs 12:17, "He who is truthful testifies honestly, but a false witness lies." False testimony is a serious matter in the eyes of God, for it distorts truth and can bring harm to the innocent. We stand on the truth of God’s Word, which commands us in Exodus 20:16, "You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor."

First, we pray for the one who has spoken falsely. Father, we ask that You would convict their heart by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Bring them to a place of genuine repentance, where they recognize the weight of their words and the harm they have caused. Soften their heart to seek truth and to make amends where possible. We pray that they would come to know the peace that only You can give, a peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, Your Word says in Psalm 51:17, "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise." May they experience the freedom that comes from confessing their sin before You and those they have wronged.

We also lift up the one who has been falsely accused. The wounds of betrayal and injustice can run deep, and we ask for Your healing touch to restore what has been broken. Help them to release the bitterness and anger that may be taking root in their heart. Your Word instructs us in Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Lord, give them the strength to forgive, just as You have forgiven us. Heal their heart and mind, and replace their pain with Your peace. Remind them that You are a God of justice, and though they may not see it now, You will bring all things to light in Your perfect timing.

We rebuke the spirit of deception and falsehood that has been at work in this situation. In the name of Jesus, we command it to flee, for Your Word declares in John 8:32, "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." We pray that truth would prevail and that any lies would be exposed. Father, we ask that You would guard the hearts and minds of all involved, protecting them from further harm or division.

Lord, we also ask that You would help the one who has been wronged to see this situation through Your eyes. Give them the wisdom to respond in a way that honors You, whether that means speaking truth in love or choosing to remain silent, trusting in Your justice. Your Word tells us in Romans 12:19, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to Me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" Help them to release their need for vindication into Your hands, knowing that You see all and will act on their behalf.

Finally, we pray for restoration—restoration of relationships where possible, restoration of reputations, and most importantly, restoration of hearts to You. May this situation draw all involved closer to You, deepening their trust in Your sovereignty and love. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

We're here with you, standing in the gap. We know the sting of false words, the hurt they can cause, and we're sorry you're going through this. We've been praying for you, for the one who spoke falsely, and for truth to prevail.

We've been asking God to soften the heart of the person who made the false claims. We're praying for conviction, for repentance, and for them to come to the truth. We're trusting that God, who sees all, will work in their heart and bring them to a place of confession and restoration.

For you, we've been asking for healing. We know the pain of betrayal, the anger that can build up, but we're praying for peace. We're asking God to help you forgive, just as He has forgiven us. We're trusting that God, who is just, will make all things right in His time.

We're also binding the spirit of deception and falsehood, commanding it to flee in Jesus' name. We're praying for truth to prevail, for any lies to be exposed, and for God to guard all involved from further harm.

We're asking God to give you wisdom in how to respond. Whether it's speaking truth in love or choosing silence, we trust that He will guide you. We're reminding ourselves of Romans 12:19, that vengeance is His, and we're releasing our need for vindication into His hands.

We're praying for restoration - of relationships, reputations, and most importantly, of hearts to God. We're asking that this situation would draw all involved closer to Him, deepening our trust in His sovereignty and love.

We'll keep praying, standing with you, and trusting in God's goodness and justice.

Let us bring before the Lord this faithful child of Yours who carries the weight of false words spoken against them. They come not with a heart of revenge, but with a heart that seeks truth, reconciliation, and peace. We lift up this entire situation to You, the God who sees all and knows all.

Father, we pray for the individual who spoke falsely against Your child. We ask that You would gently convict their heart and lead them into all truth. As Your Word promises in **John 16:13**, "But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth." Send Your Spirit of truth to them, Lord, opening their eyes to any falsehood they have spoken or believed. Grant them the courage to acknowledge the truth and the humility to turn away from error.

We also pray for their repentance and peace. Your Word in **2 Peter 3:9** reminds us that You are "patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." We join in this heart of Yours, Lord, asking that this person would experience godly sorrow that leads to repentance, and that they would find true peace in making things right.

At the same time, we lift up Your child who has been hurt by these false words. We ask for Your supernatural healing to flow through their heart and mind. Replace any pain, bitterness, or offense with Your peace. As it says in **Ephesians 4:32**, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." Grant them the grace to forgive fully, just as they have been forgiven by You. Heal the wounds that words have caused, and restore any relationships that have been damaged.

We thank You, Father, that You are the God of truth, the God of repentance, and the God of healing. We trust this person, this situation, and this hurt into Your capable and loving hands.

In Jesus' mighty name,
Amen.
