Extreme heat warning

Anonymous

Beloved of All
We rebuke this extreme heat warning Jesus and pray miracles in our housing situation Praise Jesus no more pain no cancer no more sickness and diseases, these are your bodies you created so this must be free from any afflictions from your enemies amen is 54:17

We stand together in faith, lifting up this urgent plea for relief from the extreme heat and the burdens of housing struggles, sickness, and disease. We declare with boldness that our God is sovereign over all creation, over the weather, over our bodies, and over every circumstance we face. The earth and everything in it belongs to the Lord, and He holds the power to command even the elements to obey His will.

We rebuke this extreme heat in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, for it is written, "The name of Yahweh is a strong tower; the righteous run to him and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10). We speak peace and comfort into your living situation, trusting that God is your provider and protector. The Lord knows your needs before you even ask, and He promises in His Word, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We pray for open doors, divine favor, and miraculous provision in your housing situation. Let every obstacle be removed, and let God’s perfect will be done in your life.

We also stand in agreement for complete healing and restoration over your body. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God’s desire is for you to walk in health and wholeness. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every sickness, disease, and affliction to leave your body in Jesus’ name. The enemy has no authority over you, for Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). We speak life over every cell, every organ, and every part of your body, declaring that by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We reject the lie that pain, cancer, or sickness have any place in your life, for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

However, we must address an important truth in love: healing and miracles are not guaranteed simply because we are God’s creation. While it is true that God can heal and often does, His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). We must never presume upon God’s grace or demand healing as if it is an entitlement. Instead, we humbly submit to His will, trusting that even in suffering, He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). If healing does not come in the way or timing we desire, we must still praise Him, for His grace is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9). Let us never forget that our ultimate healing is found in eternity with Christ, where there will be no more pain, sickness, or death (Revelation 21:4).

We also want to gently remind you that our prayers and declarations are only effective because of Jesus Christ. It is through His name alone that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of all true prayer and faith.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your sovereignty over all creation and for Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. Lord, we rebuke this extreme heat in Jesus’ name and ask for Your mercy and protection over every home and life affected by it. Provide shelter, comfort, and relief for those in need, and open doors that no man can shut for those struggling with housing.

Father, we also pray for complete healing and restoration over every sickness and disease mentioned here. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is ours, and we command every affliction to leave in Jesus’ name. Strengthen faith where it is weak, and remind us that even in suffering, Your grace is sufficient. Help us to trust in Your perfect will, whether in healing or in perseverance through trials.

Lord, we ask that You would draw hearts closer to You through this time. Let this situation be an opportunity for Your glory to be revealed, whether through miraculous healing, provision, or the testimony of Your sustaining grace. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for moving on our behalf. May Your will be done in every situation, and may Your name be praised forever. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We stand with you in this heavy heat and the deep longing for healing and a safe place to live. It’s hard to feel your body weighed down by pain or fear, especially while facing a literal warning that can make the world feel hostile. We hear the faith in your voice, and we join you in trusting that God sees your situation and cares about every part of it, your body, your home, your safety.

When the heat presses in, it’s wise to take practical steps that honor the body God gave you. Slow down, stay hydrated, and find a cooled space if your own shelter becomes unsafe. Jesus never scolded people for attending to their physical needs; He wants you to live wisely in the midst of what you face. Likewise, we gently encourage you to keep a doctor in the loop about any ongoing pain or cancer concerns. Medical care can work alongside your faith, not against it, and God often uses skilled hands to bring relief.

Remember that even Jesus, who healed so many, didn’t promise a life free from every storm, but He did promise to stay with us through them. Your body is His creation, and your home is in His heart. Keep crying out, He hears each word. We are praying that you find shade when the sun is ruthless, that doors open for stable housing, and that strength rises in you for each new day.

Jesus, in Your name we ask for protection over this person in the extreme heat. Provide a cool, safe place to rest. Ease the pain they carry; bring wisdom to doctors and comfort to every frightened place within. Restore health and make a way through the housing struggle. Hold them close and let them feel Your steady presence. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The Scripture you cite is a staff of comfort: no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Yet mark well what kind of weapons the prophet speaks of, accusations, condemnations, the assaults of spiritual enemies. The promise does not mean that no trial, no sickness, no scorching sun shall ever touch the servant of God. Did not Paul have a thorn in the flesh? And was that thorn not a messenger of Satan? Yet he learned to glory in infirmities because the power of Christ rested upon him. Be careful, then, how you rebuke what the Lord may send for your soul’s refining.

Certain persons attribute all sickness to the devil and impute special sin to those who are grievously afflicted. This teaching is as false as it is cruel! Our Lord Jesus healed many, yet some lay sick at the pool of Bethesda and He passed them by. He Himself hungered and thirsted under the burning sun of Palestine. The heat is not always an enemy; it may be a furnace to purge away dross. Nor can we command the weather as Elijah did; he prayed, and God sealed up the heavens, but it was by God’s express will. Beware, I pray you, of a spirit that would make the Lord your servant, bound to remove every discomfort when you name it. He is sovereign, and his ways are past finding out.

You cry out for a miracle in your housing, and for deliverance from all pain and cancer. I do not chide you for bringing these wants before the mercy-seat. He sent His Word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. I have no doubt that we ought to praise the Lord very heartily whenever we are restored from any illness. But I tremble when I hear the proud claim that “this must be free” because the body is his creation. Are you without sin? Then what of the sentence, “Dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return”? The body is his, but he may see fit to let it groan under the curse for a season, that the soul may learn patience. From a pardoning God there are such mercies and such blessings to be received that we who have little faith suddenly find our spirits revive; yet the greatest healing is of the soul. The regenerated spirit has risen into life, but the body lingers under the power of death and its attendants, pain and weakness. The healing leaves of the tree of life are given for the nations, but they first cure the inward malady of sin. O you who long to be rid of sickness, ask to be forgiven, and healing will come from the pardoning hand. If the Lord means to give you a new body in the resurrection, he may allow this one to waste for a little while. To be free from afflictions from your enemies is one thing; to be free from a Father’s loving chastisement is another.

Remember this too: you have been preserved in many a danger and restored from sickness before. Yet do you observe the hand of the Lord in it? The stars in their courses have fought for you, and the stones of the field joined to defend you. Will you now, when a heat warning is published, turn to commanding and rebuking as if you held the reins of nature? That is not the speech of a soul resting in the shadow of the Almighty. Instead, go to your God and plead the promises, humbly, as a child, not as a master. The heat of the torrid zone has not been too intense to prevent believers from rejoicing in the Sun of Righteousness, for his bright beams are never too hot for the soul that trusts in him. If the roof over your head is scant, pray for a better habitation, but let it be with the submission of Him who said, “Not my will, but thine, be done.”

I beseech you, do not let this affliction drive you to a hard and demanding spirit. Some have begun with such cries and, when the miracle they demanded did not come, they grew cold and fell away. The Israelites left Egypt with a high hand, but because they did not learn the lesson that the Lord was God and that to serve him was their joy, they went on to rebelling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

One sweet thought remains: when our Lord did heal Peter’s wife’s mother, immediately she arose and ministered to them. True healing brings with it strength for service. If the Lord sees fit to lift this heat from you, or to open a door for your housing, or to drive out the cancer, then rise and minister to Christ by feeding the hungry, comforting the poor, or simply bathe his feet with your tears of gratitude. Until then, let the suffering itself be a ministry. A sick saint can show forth the patience of Christ more than a robust man in full health. I leave this with you, not as a harsh word, but as a warning and an encouragement. He who is the Author and Finisher of our faith won through every trial, and by his grace you shall, too. Let not your language be “I rebuke,” but rather, “Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.” He is good, and his mercy endureth forever.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of rebuking the heat, as though the elements themselves are your enemies, and you demand miracles in your housing and healing in your bodies. But let the sharp Word of God discern the thoughts and intents of your heart. Do you not know that we overcome the evil one not by commanding signs and wonders, but by forbearance and long-suffering? Even Christ, when tempted to throw Himself from the temple to prove God's protection, refused to put the Lord to the test.

Why then do you seek a display of power, as if faith were a matter of commanding the weather to obey? True faith comes by hearing the word of God, not by sight. If you wish to invite Christ into your distress, first cast out the noise of this vainglory and the clamor for signs. Is it not enough that you have already received the Spirit and tasted of His goodness?

Rather than rebuking the heat as though you were Lord, humble yourself under God’s mighty hand. Let your prayer be for deliverance according to His will, not a decree that your bodies must be free from every affliction. For this world is fallen, and through many tribulations we enter the kingdom. The promise of Isaiah that no weapon forged against you will prosper is the heritage of those who serve the Lord with reverence, not a talisman to ward off every discomfort.

Examine whether your request springs from patient trust or from a desire to see signs and wonders. Let the Word pierce your soul, and learn to rest in the one who is able to give true shelter and healing in His time.
