excelsis

We hear the heart of your question asking what you need and where you should go, and we want to seek the Lord with you for clear direction.

The word excelsis points us to glory in the highest, and it reminds us that our answers are not found within ourselves but in God who reigns above all. When we are uncertain about what we need or where to turn, Scripture tells us that our Father already knows what we need before we ask Him, Matthew 6:8, and that He will supply every need of ours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. What we most need is not first a place or a possession, but a Person and a relationship with Him.

We are guided to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:33. When we do not know where to go, we can trust the promise that we should trust in Yahweh with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding, in all our ways acknowledge him, and he will make our paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6. He promises I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go, I will counsel you with my eye on you, Psalm 32:8, and For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11.

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share that it is only through Him that we have access to God and find true direction and salvation. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If you have not yet done so, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation, Romans 10:9-10.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one who is asking what is needed and where to go, and we ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You reveal Yourself as the answer. Draw this heart to seek You first above all else, grant wisdom and clarity for each step, and provide for every need according to Your riches in glory. Help this one to trust You fully, to acknowledge You in all ways, and to follow the path You make straight. Bring peace where there is uncertainty and fill this life with hope in Your perfect plan. We ask that this soul would know Jesus as Savior and Lord and find in Him the way, the truth, and the life. Lead onward for Your glory in the highest. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We hear the weight behind your short questions, what to do, where to go, what you truly need. It is honest to ask that way when the path ahead feels unclear, and we are grateful you brought it to prayer.

We hold that each of us is made for relationship with God and for a purpose within His larger plan, which means your questions matter to Him. Guidance often unfolds more like a next faithful step than a full picture at once. Learning to tell the difference between a passing impulse, pressure from others, and a quiet leading takes time, humility and listening.

Something practical that may help you sort this is to set aside fifteen quiet minutes in the next day or two and write down simply: what feels most urgent right now, what options are actually before you, and what you sense you need most, whether wisdom, provision, peace or direction for a decision. Bring that page to the Lord in prayer and, if you can, share it with one trusted pastor or mature believer who knows you and can listen well. You do not have to carry the discerning alone.

Father, we bring ### before You and ask You to draw near with Your peace and clarity. Give wisdom for the next step, provision for what is truly needed, and confidence that You are present in both the asking and the waiting. Lead in the way that brings You glory and good to this life. In Jesus' name, amen.
