Beloved Servant
Please pray for my ex to come to faith in Christ. Pray for his health especially amidst serious and life-threatening health problems. Pray for his healing from trauma and emotional/behavioral issues. Pray for God to give him a wake up call to stop behaving in dysfunctional ways. Pray for his loved ones' salvation and wellbeing as well. Thank you.

We join you in lifting up your ex before the Lord and we are grateful for your compassionate heart that desires his salvation and wellbeing even after your relationship has ended. It is a reflection of God's love to pray for those who were once close to us, and we stand with you in asking for God's mercy and transforming power in his life.

We pray first for his salvation, for this is the greatest need any person has. Scripture tells us that God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4 and that the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. We ask God to open his eyes to his need for Christ, to soften his heart and draw him to Jesus, for we know that Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. We pray that God will give him a new heart, and put a new spirit within him, taking away the stony heart and giving him a heart of flesh Ezekiel 36:26.

We also bring his serious and life threatening health problems before the Great Physician. We know that God is able to heal and that His will is perfect. We pray He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and that as He has promised, I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We pray the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15, according to God's perfect will and for His glory, and that even in suffering God would use these health trials as a wake up call to bring him to repentance and to turn from dysfunctional and destructive ways. We pray God will grant him clarity to see the consequences of his behavior and the grace to walk in repentance and self control.

We lift up his trauma and emotional and behavioral struggles to the Lord as well. So many wounds of the heart and mind need the healing only Christ can bring. We pray God will heal him from past trauma and renew his mind, helping him to put off old patterns and walk in wholeness. We trust that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28, and we ask God to work even these painful things for his good and for his salvation.

We join you in praying for his loved ones as well, that God would draw each of them to salvation and surround them with His protection and care.

We encourage you as you continue to pray for him to guard your own heart and maintain godly boundaries. Your love and intercession for your ex is Christlike, but we encourage you to release any thought of reconciliation outside of God's clear leading toward a committed marriage between a man and a woman who are both believers in Christ. Courtship should always be with the goal of a God honoring marriage, and we pray you will entrust this man fully to God's hands while you seek God's will for your own life and future spouse. We pray you will find peace in knowing you have placed him in the Lord's care.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this man to You. Lord, have mercy on him in his health crisis and lay Your healing hand upon his body according to Your will. Heal his heart from trauma and deliver him from emotional and behavioral bondage. Give him a divine wake up call that he cannot ignore, open his eyes to his sin and his need for a Savior, and draw him to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Save him, Lord, and make him a new creation. We also lift up his loved ones, that they too would come to know You and walk in Your truth and that You would keep them in Your care. Give our dear sister who is praying peace and wisdom, help her to trust You fully and to rest in Your sovereign goodness. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.

Please pray for my ex to come to faith in Christ. Pray for his health especially amidst serious and life-threatening health problems. Pray for his healing from trauma and emotional/behavioral issues. Tell him to be healed in Jesus and by His stripes we are healed! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

We hear how much care you still have for your ex, and we are honored you brought him to us for prayer. To keep lifting someone you once were close to, especially when you know he is facing serious health problems and deep wounds from the past, can feel heavy and lonely at times.

It helps to remember that healing from trauma and from long term illness is rarely quick or straight. Progress is often slow and uneven, and there are no quick fixes, even as we pray for God to work. That is why steady, patient prayer over time matters so much, and why good medical and supportive care alongside prayer is so important. If you are still in contact, we hope he has trusted doctors and others walking with him for his health and emotional needs, and we encourage that kind of care as you continue to pray.

One thing that can help you as you intercede is to keep your prayers simple and sustainable, perhaps setting aside a brief regular time to bring his salvation, health, and healing before the Lord, and then resting the burden there rather than carrying it all day. It is a faithful way to love him without taking on what only God can do.

Father, we lift this man to You in Jesus' name. We ask You to draw him to Yourself and give him faith in Christ, to have mercy on his body in his serious illness and give wisdom to those caring for him, and to bring healing where trauma has left its mark. Wake him gently to Your truth and lead him away from what harms him. We pray too for his loved ones, for their salvation and wellbeing. Give our friend peace and strength as she continues to pray. Amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord and we join you in earnest prayer for this soul and for those who love him.

We pray that God in His sovereign mercy would open eyes that are by nature born blind to spiritual things. No man can perceive God or the way of salvation by faith until the Spirit gives sight, and salvation is all of Divine Grace from first to last through the Lord Jesus Christ who loved and lived and died and rose again. We ask that the Lord would grant him that repentance which is unto life, not a mere resolve that needs to be repented of, but the blessed grace of the Holy Spirit which is inseparably joined to faith. May he be led to look out of self to Christ and to Christ only, and to find there the full and free remission of sins which is never reversed, for where there is true repentance there is forgiveness through the finished work of the Saviour.

We pray also for his health in the midst of these serious and life threatening afflictions. We know that judgments, even the most terrible, do not in themselves produce a satisfactory repentance, but we pray that the Lord would use even this trial to show him his need and to draw him to the one great Physician. There is but one cure for the nations, and the leaves of that tree which is Christ Himself are for the healing of the nations. Not only His fruit but His least words bear healing in them. We ask the Lord, if it be His will, to lay His healing hand upon this man and restore him, and above all that whether in sickness or in health he may be brought to give God glory, which is the mark of true repentance, craving after holiness as one who has been delivered from the fire.

We pray for his healing from trauma and for deliverance from those emotional and behavioral patterns which have brought dysfunction and sorrow. True repentance makes a rainbow with tears of grief for sin and glances of hope at the love of Christ, and it sets the sinner ever afterwards craving after holiness. We ask God to grant him a true awakening, not merely a fear of consequences, but a godly sorrow that leads to a change of mind and life, bringing forth fruits meet for repentance, that he may turn from what grieves the Lord and walk in newness of life.

We lift before the throne also his loved ones, asking that the same grace which alone can save would visit them. May they also be brought to know the love of Jesus, not in doctrine only but in the power of faith, and may the Lord keep them and make them well in body and soul according to His wise and good will.

Be encouraged to continue in prayer, looking to Jesus alone as the channel of all grace. He is able to save to the uttermost, and He will not turn away the weakest sinner who trusts Him, for the weakest in the boat of salvation is as safe as the strongest when Christ is the keeper. May the Lord grant you peace as you commit this man and his family into those hands which were pierced for sinners, and may His will be done for His own glory. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this burden with such love and faithfulness. Your desire to see your former companion come to know Christ, to be healed, and to be made whole is a good and right prayer, and we join you in it before the Lord.

We pray with you that God would draw him to salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved. We ask that the Lord would open his eyes to see his need, to hear the voice of Christ, and to receive Him by faith. As we have often taught, faith is needed not only for what we can see and touch but far more for what is invisible, and we pray that God would grant him that faith.

We also lift up his health before the Great Physician. You mentioned serious and life threatening health problems, and we ask God in His mercy to touch his body and restore him. We know that Christ can make a whole man healthy in a moment, doing at once what no physician's art can do, and we also know that He often works through time and patient medicine. Whether suddenly or step by step, we ask for His healing hand upon him, and for wisdom for all who care for him.

For his trauma and his emotional and behavioral struggles, we pray for a true awakening. Scripture calls to those who sleep to awake and arise, and to lift up the hands which hang down and the feeble knees. We pray that God would give him such a wake up call, not to condemn him but to deliver him from infirmity and to bring him to health of soul and mind. We pray that he would not remain in dysfunction but would turn from it, that he would receive correction with humility, and that he would seek truth concerning God rather than only relief for this life. We pray that the Lord would heal the deep wounds that have shaped these patterns and make him whole.

We remember also his loved ones as you asked, praying for their salvation and wellbeing, that they too would come to know Christ and be kept in His care.

Do not despair for one who has fallen, for he who has fallen can rise again. Many who are sick become healthy, and often a word heard many times without visible effect bears fruit all at once, like a tree that stands through many strokes and then falls at the last, or like many remedies that prepare the way for the final cure. So continue faithfully in prayer and in speaking the truth in love. God hears the persistent prayer offered in the name of Jesus, and He is able to do more than we hope.

May the Lord comfort you as you wait and intercede, and may He grant you peace as you trust His good and perfect will. We join our faith with yours, asking all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing this burden and for your love that continues to pray for him even though the relationship has ended. That kind of intercession reflects the heart of God who is gracious and merciful and patient and long suffering toward us.

Your first request is the most important one, that he would come to faith in Christ, and that is right to put first. Salvation is found in Jesus alone. He became the author of eternal salvation when He obeyed the Father and went to the cross for us, and He is the author and finisher of faith itself. His very name means the Lord is salvation, for He came to save His people from their sins. Scripture teaches that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved, for with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. To bow to His lordship now is unto salvation and eternal life. A day is coming when every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord, but then that confession will not be unto salvation. That is why the grace of God that brings salvation calls us to respond now, while it is still the accepted time. Today is the day of salvation, and we should not put off receiving what God offers.

You are also praying for his health in the face of serious and life threatening problems. The Lord is compassionate and He went about doing good and healing all kinds of sickness, and the prophet Isaiah foretold that He would bear our infirmities as well as our sins. When we break bread we remember His body broken for us, and we do believe God still heals. At the same time Scripture shows us that healing is not promised in the same way in every case or in our timing. Even the apostle Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh and learned that God had a different purpose in allowing it to remain. Sometimes healing is instant, sometimes it is gradual as with the man who at first saw men as trees walking, sometimes it comes through the natural processes God built into our bodies, which are still divine because He created them. Every form of true healing comes from Him, but the greatest miracle in any life is the forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life. So we can ask boldly for physical healing while trusting His perfect wisdom and submitting to His will for when and how He will work.

Your prayer for healing from trauma and for emotional and behavioral struggles is deeply needed. God does bring inner healing, but His healing goes deeper than feeling sorry. There is a sorrow of the world that only brings regret and even death, and there is a godly sorrow that works repentance unto salvation. True repentance is not just being sorry that we were caught or that we lost something, it is a change of mind and direction, a turning from the old life. In the picture of baptism, going down into the water is like death to that old life and rising to walk in newness. Real repentance will show itself in fruit, in a changed life, in carefulness and a desire to do what is right. That is what we can ask God to do for him, to grant not just remorse but a true change of heart that leads to a new way of living.

When you pray for a wake up call to stop dysfunctional ways, you are praying for that kind of repentance. God often uses conviction, circumstances, and His Word to awaken us. We can pray that the Spirit would open his eyes to see his need, that he would stop trusting in himself or in past relationships or background for security, and that he would bring forth fruit that shows a real turning to God.

We will also pray for his loved ones as you asked, that they too would hear the gospel and be saved and that God would guard their wellbeing. God desires that none should perish and His grace has appeared to all.

Let us pray together. Father, we thank You for Your grace that brings salvation. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would draw this man to Yourself, that You would open his heart to confess Jesus as Lord and believe that You raised Him from the dead, and that You would grant him the gift of eternal life. We ask for Your mercy over his body in these serious health struggles, that You would touch him according to Your will, whether instantly or gradually or through the means You have provided, and above all that he would know the healing of forgiveness. Heal the wounds of trauma in his mind and emotions, replace worldly sorrow with godly sorrow that leads to true repentance and a changed life, and give him strength to turn from what is dysfunctional and walk in Your straight path. Draw his loved ones to salvation as well and keep them in Your care. We ask this trusting in Jesus who alone is our salvation. Amen.
