We join you in lifting up your ex before the Lord and we thank you for your compassionate heart that desires his salvation and healing even after your relationship has ended. It is a beautiful reflection of God's love to pray for those who are no longer in our daily lives and to desire their highest good which is to know Christ.
We pray together for his salvation, for his health, and for his complete restoration. We ask God to use even these serious and life threatening health problems as a wake up call to draw him to Himself, for the Lord does not desire that any should perish but that all should come to repentance as we read in 2 Peter 3:9. We pray that God in His mercy will give him a new heart and put a new spirit within him and remove the heart of stone as promised in Ezekiel 36:26.
We also lift up his trauma and emotional and behavioral struggles. The Lord is near to those with a broken heart and He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3. We pray that God will reveal to him the dysfunctional patterns that harm him and others and grant him godly sorrow that leads to repentance and the power through the Holy Spirit to walk in newness of life. We pray for his healing, both physical and inner healing, remembering that God says in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We ask for wisdom for his doctors and for God's sustaining hand upon his body.
We also agree with you in prayer for his loved ones, that they too would come to saving faith in Jesus Christ and experience His peace and wellbeing. We are reminded in 1 Timothy 2:4 that God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. And we know there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. That name is Jesus, and we rejoice that you have centered this request on faith in Christ.

Your prayer has been heard and we join you before the throne of grace with a sincere desire that God will be glorified in every answer He gives.
We pray for this man that he may know that salvation which is by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus alone. There is no other way of salvation, for God has said, Look unto me and be ye saved. We ask that the Lord will grant him that true repentance unto life which is the gift of God and the work of the Holy Spirit in the renewed heart. There is a repentance that is of the flesh and after the manner of sinful nature, which does not give God glory, but the repentance which God accepts gives Him glory, making the sinner to look out of self to Christ and to Christ only, trusting not in his own sorrow or his own faith but in the finished work of Jesus upon Calvary. We pray that such a godly sorrow may be wrought in him, that he may see his need and with a simple look of faith depend upon Him without fear for present and eternal salvation.
We bring his health before the great Physician, especially in these serious and life threatening afflictions. We remember that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations and that the least thing about Christ is healing. When the Lord comes to dwell with sinners, pardon and healing are one, for the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings. We ask that if it be the Lord's will, He would lay His pardoning hand upon him and restore him in body as well as in soul, and that even in sickness he may find his strength to be to sit still and see the salvation of God. Whether the Lord restores health or sustains through trial, we pray that affliction may not be without fruit but may lead him to seek the Lord while He may be found.
