We have heard your request and we are standing with you in prayer for your safety, your peace, and your healing. What you have endured is not what God intends for relationships. Psychological abuse is sinful and cruel, it does not reflect the love, honor, and selflessness that God calls us to show one another. The Lord sees the hurt you have carried and He cares deeply for you.

Scripture reminds us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. He also promises to heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We take comfort that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3, and that we are called to guard our hearts with all diligence, for out of the heart are the issues of life Proverbs 4:23. Setting firm boundaries after abuse is not unkind or unforgiving, it is wisdom and stewardship of the heart and life God has given you. Forgiveness as God commands in Ephesians 4:32 does not require remaining in contact or returning to a harmful relationship, and God calls us to pursue peace and holiness. We also believe that any romantic relationship should be a courtship with the goal of lifelong marriage between a man and a woman who are both believers in Christ, marked by love and respect, and we pray that if you desire marriage in the future God will bring a godly spouse who will cherish and honor you as Christ loves the church.

We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to gently share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus, confess Him as Lord, believe that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is through Him we can bring every burden to the Father with confidence.

We pray together for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. We thank You that You are her refuge and fortress, her safe place. We ask that You place a hedge of protection around her and that this former relationship would remain ended. If he does attempt to contact her, we pray You will give her clear discernment, firm resolve, and supernatural strength not to respond and not to be drawn back into confusion or fear. Fill her with Your peace which surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7 and remind her that You have not given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. Heal the wounds left by psychological abuse, restore what has been broken, and renew her mind and heart day by day. Surround her with wise, godly counsel, supportive believers, and if needed, trusted pastors or counselors who can walk with her toward wholeness. Lead her in Your perfect will and guard her steps. We also pray for her former partner, that You would bring conviction where there has been sin and lead him to repentance, but that Your protection would remain over her. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to keep practical boundaries in place such as blocking numbers and messages, limiting access through social media, and letting a trusted friend, family member, or pastor know of your desire for no contact so they can support you and help you stay accountable. Do not walk through this alone. The Lord wants to restore you and give you hope for the future, and we are continuing to pray that you will experience His nearness, His healing, and His strength to remain free and at peace. Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

Thank you for trusting us with this. Wanting no further contact after psychological abuse makes sense, and wanting strength not to respond when the pull to answer is strong is a wise and brave prayer.

We hear how heavy this has been, and how much energy it takes to hold a boundary when someone has chipped away at your confidence. It helps to have a clear plan ahead of time for what you will do if a message or call comes, so you do not have to decide in the moment. If it is safe for you, consider deciding now who one trusted person is you can text instead of replying, and keeping any contact attempts saved without answering, so you have a record and support.

We are praying for your safety, for peace in your mind and heart as you heal, and for steady strength to keep this boundary.

Father, we lift our sister to You. Surround her with protection and with people who care for her well. Give her clarity and courage to stay quiet if he reaches out, and comfort her with Your nearness each day. Guide her steps toward healing and wisdom. In Jesus name, amen.

Your request has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with earnest care. To be freed from the voice and power of one who has wounded you psychologically is no small mercy to seek, and to desire strength not to answer when temptation or old habit might bid you respond is a wise and needful prayer.

We pray that the Lord who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds will be your refuge and your guard. May He set a hedge about you and keep you in peace, and if that former companion should seek to reach you again, may the Lord in His providence restrain him and give you firmness of purpose to remain separate. We ask that God would grant you renewed strength as you wait upon Him, for the promise stands that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. When your own strength fails and you feel faint, His strength is made perfect in weakness, and He has said, I will strengthen them in the Lord.

There is healing in Christ for every wound of the soul. Not only His great acts of salvation, but the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least touch of His grace can change the lifeblood and make the nature whole again. We pray that you may taste that healing, that the memory of unkindness and fear may be softened by His mercy, and that you may be lifted up from this season of sorrow to walk in newness of life and quietness of spirit.

We ask the Lord to teach you to sit still and see His salvation, to trust not in your own resolve alone but in His arm which is your strength every morning. May He give you wisdom to keep needful boundaries, the counsel of faithful friends and of His church to uphold you, and a heart fixed upon Christ, who alone is our righteousness and our all. May you be kept from returning to what has harmed you, and may you find in communion with the Lord a fuller joy and a steadier peace than any earthly voice could offer.

We commit you to Him who is able to keep you, praying that He will preserve you from all evil, heal you thoroughly, and establish your steps in His way.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard and we are praying with you for protection, peace and strength during this difficult time.

We pray that the Lord will guard you and keep you safe from further harm, and that He will give you clear boundaries and the resolve to keep them. We ask God to grant you wisdom and courage so that if contact is attempted, you will have strength not to respond, and to remain firm in seeking what is healthy and right. We pray also for healing from the hurt caused by psychological abuse, that Christ who sees every wound will bring comfort to your mind and heart, restore your peace, and renew your strength day by day.

Scripture reminds us that God is our refuge and shelter in times of trial, and that He is near to the brokenhearted. Forgiveness, as Christ teaches, is a gift we can offer for our own freedom before God, but forgiveness does not require returning to harm or opening the door to further abuse. It is right and wise to set firm boundaries and to seek safety.

We encourage you to stay connected to trusted and godly support around you, whether pastors, counselors, or mature believers who can walk with you, pray with you, and help you remain steady. If you ever feel unsafe, please reach out immediately for help from those you trust and from appropriate local support.

We continue to pray that God will keep you in His perfect peace, guide your steps, and lead you into full healing and rest in Him.

In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, amen.
