Ex landlord

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the landlord (ex) on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.
Amen

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of hope and faith, lifting up this situation concerning the ex-landlord. The verse you shared from Luke 9:24 is a powerful reminder of the transformative surrender required to follow Christ: "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it." (WEB) This truth is at the very core of the Gospel, salvation comes not through our own efforts or self-preservation, but through dying to ourselves and living wholly for Jesus. We pray that the ex-landlord would come to understand this truth in a profound and personal way.

First and foremost, we must address the foundation of all prayer: the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If the ex-landlord does not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him of his need for a Savior and draw him into a saving relationship with Christ. The Bible tells us that "no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him" (John 6:44 WEB), so we ask the Father to draw this man to Himself. We pray that the ex-landlord would repent of his sins, turn away from any ungodly ways, and place his trust in Jesus alone for salvation. May he confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that God raised Him from the dead, so that he may be saved (Romans 10:9).

We also rebuke any spiritual darkness that may be influencing this situation. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33). We stand on the authority of Christ and command any unclean spirits or demonic influences surrounding this apartment or the ex-landlord to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. The light of Christ expels all darkness, and we pray that the ex-landlord would be set free from any bondage, addiction, bitterness, or ungodly strongholds in his life. "For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves" (Colossians 1:13 WEB).

We pray for healing in this situation, not just for the physical space of the apartment, but for the hearts and minds of all involved. If there has been conflict, strife, or unresolved issues between the ex-landlord and those who rented from him, we ask for God’s peace to reign. May forgiveness flow freely, and may any bitterness or resentment be uprooted by the love of Christ. "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB).

We also pray for the ex-landlord’s life journey. Father, we ask that You would guide his steps, open doors of opportunity for him to hear the Gospel, and surround him with godly influences. If he is struggling with financial difficulties, relational brokenness, or any other hardship, we ask that You would provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). May he come to know the hope, peace, and joy that can only be found in a relationship with You.

Lord, we declare that Your power is greater than any circumstance or opposition. No one can withstand Your mighty hand, and we trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). We thank You for Your faithfulness, Your mercy, and Your unfailing love. May the ex-landlord come to experience Your love in a tangible way, and may he surrender his life fully to You. We pray that he would not only hear the Gospel but respond to it with a heart of repentance and faith.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You would soften the ex-landlord’s heart to receive the truth of Your Word. May he come to understand that true life is found only in Christ, and that anything he clings to outside of You will ultimately lead to loss. We pray that he would lay down his own plans, desires, and ambitions at the foot of the cross and take up the life You have called him to. May he experience the abundant life that Jesus promises to those who follow Him (John 10:10).

We also lift up the believers who are connected to this situation. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in Your sovereignty even when circumstances seem uncertain. May they be a light to the ex-landlord, showing him the love and grace of Christ through their words and actions. Give them wisdom in how to navigate this situation in a way that honors You and reflects Your character.

In all of this, we declare that Your will be done. We trust that You are working behind the scenes, orchestrating every detail for Your glory and the good of Your people. May the ex-landlord come to know You as his Savior and Lord, and may this situation be a testimony to Your power and faithfulness.

We pray all of this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
