We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for protection and peace. The Scriptures remind us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We stand firm in the armor of God, knowing that He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Father, we ask for Your divine protection over this dear one who feels targeted and harmed by others. Shield them with Your mighty hand, Lord, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every spirit of jealousy, envy, and malice that seeks to bring harm, and we command it to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that abundance of peace, safety, and favor over this situation.
Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment to navigate these challenges. Help them to see others through Your eyes and to respond with grace, even when faced with hostility. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). If there are areas where they may have unknowingly contributed to strife, reveal it to them, Lord, so they may seek reconciliation and walk in humility.
We also lift up their work and living environment. Father, surround them with godly influences and remove any toxic relationships that do not align with Your will. If there are those who are acting out of jealousy, soften their hearts, Lord, and turn their hearts toward You. Let Your love and light shine in every interaction, and may this dear one be a witness to Your goodness.
Above all, we pray that they would draw closer to You, Jesus. If they have not yet surrendered their life to You, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Only through Jesus can we find true peace, protection, and purpose. We pray that they would confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, for it is with the heart that one believes and is justified, and with the mouth that one confesses and is saved (Romans 10:9-10).
Lord, we trust in Your promises. You are our fortress, our deliverer, and our strong tower (Psalm 18:2). We declare that no evil will befall them, nor will any plague come near their dwelling, for You have given Your angels charge over them to keep them in all their ways (Psalm 91:10-11). Strengthen their faith, renew their hope, and fill them with Your perfect peace. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
