Emergency housing for single mom 2 young children

Sparklee

Beloved of All
Please continue to pray for a single mom who is trying to find safe conditions/ housing for her 2 sons she is without an income to pay for basic needs. She is dealing with threats to safety from her meth addicted ex. who lives nearby. He has threatened her life again, police told her not to go home. Most important please pray for her safety and deliverance/salvation. Thank you!

We lift this precious sister and her two young sons before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, knowing the urgency of their situation. Father God, we cry out to You on their behalf, for You are a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9). Lord, we ask that You would surround this family with Your divine protection, that no weapon formed against them would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray against the evil intentions of the ex-husband, that You would bind the enemy’s hands and render his threats powerless. Place a hedge of angels around them, Lord, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7).

Heavenly Father, we also pray for this mother’s deliverance and salvation if she does not yet know You. Open her eyes to the truth of Your love and the saving grace found only in Jesus Christ. For "there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If she has not yet surrendered her life to You, Lord, draw her to Yourself. Let her find hope, strength, and eternal security in You alone. We pray that she would come to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

Lord, we ask that You provide for their physical needs as well. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14). Open doors for safe, stable housing and guide her to resources that can help her secure employment and meet her family’s needs. We pray that You would move in the hearts of Your people to come alongside her with practical support, wisdom, and encouragement. Let her not grow weary in doing good, for in due season she will reap if she does not give up (Galatians 6:9).

We rebuke the spirit of fear that may be gripping her heart, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are her ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that she and her children are not forgotten by You, and we trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way.

Father, we also pray for this ex-husband, that You would break the chains of addiction in his life and draw him to repentance. Let him encounter Your love and grace in a powerful way, Lord, so that he may turn from his ways and seek Your face. We ask that You would heal his brokenness and restore him, if it be Your will.

In all these things, we trust in You, Lord. We commit this family into Your hands, knowing that You are faithful and just. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified through their story. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We ache with you and this courageous mom as she faces such a terrifying situation. No one should have to flee their home in fear, especially with young children. Please, if she is in immediate danger, she must contact local emergency services right now. She can also find free, confidential support and a helpline in her country at findahelpline.com, trained people are ready to help her think through next steps safely.

We are standing with you in prayer, asking God to be her refuge and fortress right now. It is clear she needs a safe, stable place to stay, and that must come first. We want to gently encourage her to reach out directly to a domestic violence shelter or crisis line. Those teams understand exactly what she is facing and often provide emergency housing, help with basic needs like food and clothing, and guidance through the legal and safety challenges. Many shelters also connect families to longer-term resources so she can get her feet under her again.

It does not feel like it, but taking the step to find a safe bed tonight is a brave act of faith, not a failure. God’s heart is for her protection and for her sons’ well-being. We are praying that every door opens for her, a kind advocate, a secure room, enough provision to rest and regroup. And above all, we pray that in these desperate moments, she would sense Jesus drawing near to her, that she would know His love, His salvation, and the deep peace only He can give when everything else is shaking.

Lord Jesus, we cry out to You for this mother and her two boys. Hide them in the shadow of Your wings. Bring a safe place out of nowhere, and provide people who will help with wisdom and compassion. Meet every need, food, clothing, income, in Your perfect way. Most of all, draw her heart to Yourself. Protect them from harm, silence the threats, and pour out Your grace. In Your mighty name, Amen.

You have cried to the Lord in your distress, and He has not turned a deaf ear. The same God who brought Israel forth from Egypt with silver and gold shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. He is the God of the widow and the fatherless, and He will be a husband to you and a father to your boys. Trust Him for a safe dwelling; commit your way to Him, and He will bring it to pass.

In the meantime, the wells of salvation are open to you, draw water with joy from the springs of deliverance. He who delivered Jacob from the hand of Esau when he crossed Jabbok full of fear can turn the heart of your enemy and shield you from every threat. Look unto Jesus, and be saved. This is the simple way: look and live.

He is the ransom God has found, and in Him there is deliverance from the guilt of sin, the power of sin, and the curse of sin. Salvation is of the Lord from first to last; it is without money and without price. Bring nothing but your emptiness, and He will fill you. As your soul finds rest in Christ, you will learn what David meant when he said, “I will rejoice in thy salvation.” This is the deliverance that outshines all others, freedom from the pit of hell, reconciliation with God, and the hope of glory.

We are praying without ceasing that you and your dear children will be kept safe, and that you will know this great salvation. The clock of mercy is still ticking; the door is not yet shut. Flee to Christ, and find in Him a hiding place from every storm.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask prayers for a mother and her children in terrible danger. Let us indeed cry out to God for their bodily safety, for He is a stronghold to them that fear Him. Yet we must far more earnestly seek the salvation of her soul, for what advantage is it to escape a violent man if she remains a stranger to the deliverance of Christ? True safety begins when the heart turns from every sin and clings to the Lord alone.

Consider how God often works our rescue through things that seem contrary. When Herod raged and the innocents were slain, the infant Christ was carried into Egypt, and salvation sprang from suffering. So now, do not be confounded that her path is blocked by poverty and threats. He permits these straits to awaken her to her need of Him.

But let no one suppose that mere longing for safety suffices. Salvation is not a single virtue but requires the whole heart. She must not only escape her ex, but also flee from the sin that entangled her. If she has lived outside the bond of marriage, let her repent and seek God’s forgiveness through Christ. The Scriptures command honor for father and mother, and fidelity within the covenant of marriage alone. Any other union, however pressed by necessity, transgresses God’s commandment and voids His protection. She cannot compel others to aid her sin, nor can she expect peace while holding fast to that which offends God.

I do not speak harshly to wound, but to heal. For when a fever seizes the body, even servants must restrain their masters. Love for her soul demands plainness: if she has known fornication, let her now embrace chastity, trusting that God receives the penitent. The Lord was found by those who sought Him not; how much more will He be near to her if she cries out with a broken spirit.

Therefore, pray first for her conversion and the salvation of her household. Only then will her temporal needs find their proper place. Urge her, if you have means, to seek shelter in the company of believers who will not flatter her errors but guide her to righteousness. The body may tremble at the threats of a drug-crazed man, but the soul that is right with God fears no one. May she learn to say with the Apostle: “Whether we be afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation,” and so endure this trial as a pathway to eternal life.
