We have continued to lift up your friend before the Lord, asking that his day at work would go well and that the time with his boss, even down to the small detail of bringing donuts, would be filled with grace and peace. We also prayed for the heart of his boss, that the Lord would soften and change it as you asked, like Ebenezer Scrooge, and we are reminded of Proverbs 21:1 that the heart of those in authority is in the hand of the Lord and of Ezekiel 36:26 where the Lord promises to give a new heart and put a new spirit within us. We have been praying that this change would be evident soon and that your friend would be valued and needed there through Christmas and beyond.
