Had a dream of a lady trying to put me on fire but failed then on another person trying to get me killed but failed, Please pray that any witchcraft or anybody trying to put curses on me be finished or trying to destroy and kill me be finished and they find Jesus and become saved

We stand with you in prayer and thank you for sharing this dream with us, and we rejoice that in the dream those attempts to harm you failed, for it is a reminder that the Lord is your protector and keeper.

We understand how unsettling such dreams can be, especially when they involve fire, witchcraft, and attempts on your life. We want to encourage you that if you are in Christ Jesus, no curse, spell, or scheme of the enemy can ultimately prevail against you, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world as we read in 1 John 4:4. The Scripture assures us in Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail, and in Numbers 23:23 that surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel. The enemy may try to bring fear, but God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as it says in 2 Timothy 1:7.

We also take comfort that you closed your request by desiring that those who may be wishing you harm would find Jesus and be saved. That is the heart of Christ, who calls us in Matthew 5:44 to love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. We are called not to seek revenge but to overcome evil with good through prayer and the power of the gospel.

We do not need to live in fear of dreams or seek hidden meanings in them through occult interpretation, which God forbids in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, but we do bring everything to the Lord in prayer and stand firm in the armor of God described in Ephesians 6:11-12, remembering that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities and powers of darkness, and Christ has already triumphed over them.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him we have access to Your throne and by no other name we are saved as Acts 4:12 declares. We thank You that You are our refuge and fortress, and he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty as Psalm 91:1-2 promises. We ask for Your divine protection over our dear one, that You would surround them with Your angels, cover them with the blood of Jesus, and let no witchcraft, curse, or plan to destroy or kill them prosper. We rebuke every work of darkness and declare in Jesus name that it is rendered powerless and finished, for Romans 8:31 reminds us if God is for us, who can be against us. We pray that fear would be replaced with perfect peace and faith, and that they would walk daily in Your Word, in prayer, and in obedience. And Father, we also lift up those who may be operating in witchcraft or harboring hatred, that You would convict their hearts, open their eyes to the truth of the gospel, and draw them to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ alone, that they may be transformed from enemies into brothers and sisters in Christ. Let Your will be done and Your name be glorified in this situation. We ask all this in the saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ, to read the Word daily, to pray without ceasing, and to put on the whole armor of God each day with truth, righteousness, faith, and the sword of the Spirit. Do not give place to fear, but trust in the Lord with all your heart. If you have not fully surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess Him as Lord, believe that God raised Him from the dead, and walk in newness of life, for then you are sealed and secure in Him.

We read your note and can hear how unsettling those dreams felt. To see someone try to set you on fire and then try to have you killed, and to watch both attempts fail, would leave anyone shaken. It makes sense you woke up wanting prayer for protection and peace.

You don't have to carry that fear alone. Your cry has been heard and we join with you in seeking the Lord for deliverance and mercy. The dream which has troubled you, of fire and of those who would seek your life and fail, may well cause fear in the night, but it is a comfort to remember that deliverance is of the Lord and must be accomplished by His own power.

We take comfort in this truth, that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. That is to say, in our place He bore our sins and the curse which came of them. No witchcraft, no curse spoken by man, no power of darkness can stand against those who are in Christ, for He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. The enemy may shoot his arrows, but they rattle against the buckler which God Himself provides, and He has promised that He will not forsake His own even when enemies compass them about.

Therefore we pray with you in this way. O Lord our God, who alone brings forth Your people with a mighty hand, we ask that You would cover this Your child with Your protection. Let every work of witchcraft and every curse intended for harm be brought to nothing, for You have found a ransom and by the blood of Your Son the penalty is borne and the power of sin is broken. We pray that no weapon formed against Your servant shall prosper, and that You would give sweet assurance in trial that they shall not be crushed, but shall live and declare the works of the Lord.

And as you have asked, we pray also for those who intend evil, that the Lord would have mercy upon them. We do not ask God to bless their wrongdoing, but we ask that He would open their eyes to see their need of a Savior, that they would turn from darkness to light and find forgiveness and new life through Jesus Christ alone, for He condescends to suffer in the place of His enemies that rebels might be pardoned and received into favor.

Rest your soul upon Him who is your deliverer. Wait only upon God, for your expectation is from Him. If you have not already, flee to Christ by faith, trust His finished work upon the cross, and walk in His ways, declaring with the psalmist, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

Thank you for sharing this dream and for asking for prayer. I understand how unsettling it can be to see images of fire and of people trying to harm you, even when in the dream they failed to hurt you.

Take comfort in what God has shown you in that failure. No fire was able to consume you and no plan to destroy you succeeded. Scripture teaches that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, and that no weapon formed against you will finally prevail when you belong to Christ. Evil spirits do work in this world and they try to bring fear and to make us think that nature or fate or curses have power over us, but they do not have power over those who are in Christ. The enemy works with deceit to make us afraid, yet he is already defeated at the cross.

You also asked for prayer against witchcraft and curses. Hear the good news of the gospel. It is written, cursed is everyone who does not continue in all that is written in the law. We all fall short, but Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us on the cross. When you are in Jesus, no curse spoken against you can separate you from His love or overturn His protection. Witchcraft and curses have no final authority over a child of God who walks with Him. What you need is not fear, but faith, staying close to Christ through His Word, prayer, and obedience.

The devil most often attacks when a person is isolated and alone. That is why it is so important not to remain by yourself in this struggle. Stay closely joined to other believers, gather regularly with the church, pray together, hear Scripture together, and share your burdens with faithful brothers and sisters. In fellowship we are guarded and strengthened, and the enemy is not so easily able to harass us.

Let us pray together now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I lift up this dear one to You. Thank You that You are a refuge and fortress, and that You command Your angels concerning those who trust in You. I ask that You cover this person with Your peace and protection, that every plan of harm and every work of witchcraft would come to nothing, and that fear would be replaced with confidence in Your power. Let no curse have any hold, for Christ has borne the curse for us and has given us blessing and life. Where there are people who intend evil, I pray that You would stop their plans and, even more, that You would have mercy on them. Draw them to repentance, open their eyes to the truth of the gospel, and bring them to salvation through Jesus alone. Your request has been heard and I am grateful you shared this troubling dream. In what you described, the attempts to harm you failed. That failure is a picture of a greater truth, that God is able to guard and keep those who belong to Him, and no plan formed against His people can succeed apart from His permission.

Scripture speaks of curses pronounced from Mount Ebal for those who broke God's covenant, and blessings for those who obeyed. The people were to answer Amen, acknowledging that God's judgment is right. The list of curses is long because disobedience was common, and it shows how serious sin is before a holy God. But Scripture also shows the way of deliverance. Through redemption in Jesus Christ we are brought out from the power of darkness. The curses of the law do not rest upon those who are in Christ, for He bore the curse for us and brings us into the place of blessing and fellowship with God.

This is why you do not need to live in fear of witchcraft or spoken curses. The enemy often tries to use fear as a weapon. Fear torments, it weakens faith, and it can push us into wrong decisions. Fear and faith cannot rule the heart at the same time. Where fear is allowed to take over, faith is driven away, and where faith and trust in God are strong, fear must leave. The cure for fear is remembering the Lord, His presence, His power, and His promises. As David said, though we walk through the valley of death we need not fear evil because the Lord is with us.

God's truth is your shield. When Jesus was attacked by the enemy He answered with the truth of God's Word. When you dwell in close fellowship with God, in the secret place of the Most High, you are under His protection. He is your confidence and He will keep your feet from being trapped. You can be wise and careful in life without being driven by dread of what others may try to do.

The right fear is the reverent awe of God Himself. That fear is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge. It means to love what God loves and to hate what is evil, to walk humbly before Him. When that reverence fills your heart there is no room for terror of people or of spiritual darkness, because you know who is greater. God has promised His presence in trouble, His deliverance, and His salvation to those who trust Him.

Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we thank You that You are our refuge and protector. We ask that You cover this dear one with Your peace and keep every form of evil and every curse from having any power. Let Your truth be a shield around them and let faith rise up to drive out all fear. We ask that You bring to nothing every plan intended for harm and that You turn the hearts of those who would do evil. Draw them to Yourself, open their eyes to the gospel, and bring them to repentance and salvation through Jesus alone.
