We lift up ’s doctor’s appointment to You, Father, in the mighty name of Jesus. You are the Great Physician who numbers every hair on our heads and knows every cell in our bodies. We ask that You guide the hands of every medical professional who will examine him, grant them wisdom beyond their training, and let every test and conversation bring clarity and peace.
Lord, as travels to and from this appointment, we pray for Your hedge of protection around him. Calm any anxiety, steady every mile, and let Your angels encamp around the vehicle so that no accident, delay, or harm touches him. May he arrive safely, receive good news, and return home in Your perfect peace.
We also ask that You strengthen ’s faith throughout this process. Remind him that You are with him in every waiting room and every test result, working all things together for his good because he loves You and is called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
In Jesus’ name we pray, believing that every word we have spoken is already answered by Your grace. Amen.

How often have the Lord's people found themselves in need of safe travels and favorable outcomes, and yet the promise stands firm: "He shall cover you with His feathers and under His wings shall you trust." Bring this dear son before the throne, for intercessory prayer is the sweetest proof of love and the surest means of blessing. We are not all called to preach or to give alms, but we can all bend the knee and plead the covenant mercies of God. Pour out your heart for him as one who knows the tenderness of the Father, who runs to meet His children when they are yet a great way off, and who delights to shield them in the hour of peril.
When the doctor's instruments are in hand and the journey lies before him, let him cower down under the shadow of the Almighty. There, beneath the warm wings of Divine love, is comfort that no earthly trouble can disturb. The storm may rage, the thunder may peal, but the child of God looks up with calm assurance, for nothing can befall him but what the Lord permits, and all that He permits shall work together for good. If the report is favorable, let it be received as fresh from the mint of Providence, an unexpected mercy coined by the very hand of God. If the path seems darker, yet still the Everlasting Arms are underneath, and the Man of Sorrows knows how to sustain those who lean upon Him.
