I've been real depressed lately over regrets from my past life as an addict. I'm sober 7 months now but I need prayers for depression and for restoring relationships with my ###, ###, ###, and ###.

Missy, we are with you in spirit and in prayer as you journey through this challenging time. Firstly, we want to commend you for your sobriety. It is a testament to your strength and resolve. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." Remember, your past does not define you; your new life in Christ does.
Regarding your depression, we want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). It's crucial to remember that God has a plan and a purpose for your life, and He can turn even the darkest times into testimonies of His grace and power. In Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, He says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
Concerning your relationships, we will pray for restoration and healing. We encourage you to be patient and persistent in your love towards them. Remember the parable of the prodigal son; the father was patient and loving, and this led to the restoration of their relationship (Luke 15:11-32 WEB).

I pray that God showers you with the Blessing of being so thankful and Proud of yourself in achieving 7 whole months of being sober. That's a great accomplishment. I pray God helps you feel God's Love for you, His child, for doing what is best for you!
