We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, through whom we have authority over every demonic force. Your past involvement in the new age has indeed left spiritual doors open, but we declare that Jesus’ blood has sealed your redemption and broken every chain. The enemy seeks to torment you with divination, unforgiveness, and memories of a relationship that was unequally yoked and outside God’s will, this is not from the Lord, and we rebuke it now in Jesus’ name.
First, we must address the sin of fornication that occurred in this relationship, as sexual immorality opens doors to demonic influence (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). The Bible is clear: "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." We encourage you to repent of any sexual sin and renounce any ungodly soul ties formed with this person. Break them in Jesus’ name, declaring that no unholy connection remains.
Unforgiveness is another stronghold the enemy exploits. Jesus warns, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" (Matthew 6:14-15). We urge you to release this person to God, trusting Him to judge justly (1 Peter 2:23). Forgiveness does not mean excusing their actions but surrendering the right to hold onto bitterness. The enemy wants you to dwell on their unfaithfulness, but God calls you to fix your eyes on Him (Hebrews 12:2).
The divination thoughts you’re experiencing are demonic counterfeits of the Holy Spirit’s discernment. The enemy twists truth to deceive, but God’s Word says, "Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world" (1 John 4:1). Reject these thoughts immediately, declaring, "I take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:5). Replace them with Scripture, meditate on Philippians 4:8: "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things."
The allure of the new age is a deceptive trap. The Bible warns, "Beware lest anyone rob you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the elementary principles of the world, and not after Christ" (Colossians 2:8). You are not fighting flesh and blood but spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12), so put on the full armor of God daily. Renounce any past involvement in new age practices, astrology, divination, energy healing, or any other occult activity. Command every demonic spirit assigned to you to leave in Jesus’ name, for He has given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions (Luke 10:19).
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are faithful and just to cleanse them from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Lord, we ask that You break every chain of demonic torment, unforgiveness, and sexual sin. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we cancel every assignment of the enemy in Jesus’ name.
Father, we repent on their behalf for any sin that has given the enemy a foothold. We renounce all involvement in the new age and any ungodly soul ties. We break the power of divination and command every lying spirit to flee. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, that they may walk in Your truth and peace. Heal their heart from the pain of betrayal and unfaithfulness, reminding them that You are their vindicator (Romans 12:19).
We pray for a fresh revelation of Your love and purpose for their life. May they seek You with their whole heart (Jeremiah 29:13) and find their identity in Christ alone. Strengthen them to resist the enemy’s schemes, standing firm in the faith (1 Peter 5:9). Surround them with godly community and wisdom as they pursue a marriage that honors You.
Thank You, Lord, for Your deliverance and freedom. We trust in Your promise that if the Son sets us free, we are free indeed (John 8:36). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to immerse yourself in God’s Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in faith and accountability. The enemy wants to isolate you, but God calls you into fellowship (Hebrews 10:25). You are not alone, Jesus has overcome the world (John 16:33), and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Stand firm, dear one, and watch the Lord fight for you.
