We have heard your request for deliverance and for healing and safe weight loss for your son and we join with you in prayer together before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus.
We understand the burden you feel when you speak of curses against you and your son. We want to encourage you with the truth of Scripture that for those who are in Christ, no curse has ultimate power over us. The Word tells us Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13 and There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus Romans 8:1. We do not need to live in fear of curses spoken by others, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4 and No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. We rebuke any fear and any work of the enemy that would try to oppress you or your son, and we submit ourselves fully to God knowing that when we submit to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us James 4:7. Our deliverance is not found in rituals or in repeating words but in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross and in walking in obedience and faith in Him.
We also noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We gently remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and that there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ, to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9-10.
We lift up your son before the Lord. We pray for his physical health and for wisdom to lose weight safely as a good steward of the body God has given him. We remember that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit within us, which we have from God, and we are to glorify God in our body and in our spirit, which are His 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We pray that God will give him self control which is a fruit of the Spirit Galatians 5:22-23, and guide him and you to wise and balanced choices, to nourishing food, to healthy activity, and to godly counsel from trusted medical guidance, and that the Lord will bless his health even as his soul prospers 3 John 1:2. We pray against any shame or unhealthy striving and for strength to care for his body with patience and discipline for the glory of God.
We also pray for healing from past hurts for him. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We ask God to gently bind up every wound from the past, to replace hurt and rejection with His perfect love, and to help your son cast all his worries on Him, because He cares for him 1 Peter 5:7. We pray he will learn to forgive as Christ forgave us and to renew his mind in the Word, knowing that God can work all things together for good for those who love Him Romans 8:28.
We pray together now. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You that through Jesus we have redemption and deliverance from every curse and every scheme of the enemy. We declare that any curse spoken against this dear one and her son is broken and has no authority, for Christ has redeemed them and they are covered by the blood of Jesus. We ask You to fill them with Your peace and assurance and to help them walk in faith and obedience to You. Father, we lift up this son to You. Touch his body, give him health and strength, guide him to lose weight safely and to honor You with his body. Heal his heart from every past hurt, comfort him, restore his joy, and draw him close to You. Let him know how deeply he is loved and valued by You. Lead this family into deeper trust in Jesus as Savior and Lord and into the freedom and wholeness that only He can give. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, Amen.
