We join with you in bringing this need before the Father and we stand together for deliverance for you and for your son. We understand the burden you feel when it seems that curses or words spoken against your family are weighing you down, and we also hear your tender concern for your son that he would be healthy in body and healed in his heart from past hurts.
We declare together the truth of Scripture that no curse has authority over those who are in Christ. Galatians 3:13 tells us Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. And Colossians 1:13 reminds us that He delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love. We rebuke every curse, every evil word, every assignment of the enemy spoken against you and your son, and we declare that it is broken and rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus. Isaiah 54:17 says No weapon that is formed against you will prevail, and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. We agree together that every chain is broken now and that you both will walk in the freedom Christ has already purchased.
We also lift up your son for safe and healthy weight loss and for deep inner healing. We pray that God will help him to honor his body as a temple of the Holy Spirit, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Or dont you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are Gods. We ask the Lord to give him wisdom, self control, and strength to make healthy choices day by day, and that his weight loss would be safe, sustained, and for his good. 3 John 1:2 says Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers, and that is our prayer for him, that his body and soul would prosper together.
For the past hurts he carries, we pray for the healing that only Jesus can bring. Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We ask the Father to gently bind up every wound, to wash away shame and rejection and fear, and to replace it with His perfect love and peace. We pray he will be able to forgive those who have hurt him and to receive forgiveness himself, knowing that healing often comes as we release the past into Gods hands.
We want to gently remind you that we have access to the Father only through Jesus Christ. We noticed your request did not mention His name, and we want to encourage you that it is by the name of Jesus that every curse is broken and every prayer is heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for Romans 10:9 promises that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is through Him we are redeemed, delivered, and healed.
So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You that You are our deliverer and our healer. We declare in Jesus name that every curse against this dear one and her son is ended now, broken and nullified by the cross. We command every spirit of oppression, heaviness, and infirmity to leave and to have no place in their lives. We speak Your protection, Your favor, and Your peace over them. Lord, we lift up this son to You, we ask for Your hand upon his body, give him discipline and grace for healthy eating, for movement, for rest, and let his weight come into a healthy balance safely and without harm. Touch his heart, Lord, heal every memory of hurt, restore his joy, renew his mind, and let him know how deeply he is loved and valued by You. Fill this family with Your Holy Spirit, with hope and with strength for each day. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We have been holding you, ###, and her son before the Lord since you shared this. We hear how much you love them and how heavy it feels to want curses broken, to want a healthier body for her son, and to want old hurts to finally heal.
We are praying that any work of evil against them would be ended and that they would know the protection and peace that comes from belonging to Jesus. We are also asking for steady, gentle healing for her son, for comfort where there has been pain and for a growing sense of being safe and loved by God.
For the desire for him to lose weight safely, a caring next step alongside prayer is to involve his own doctor. A physician can help determine what a safe and realistic target would be and coordinate any plan for nutrition and activity, so he is supported and his health is cared for well. You can encourage him and pray for wisdom and perseverance for each small step.
Healing from past hurts often takes time and trusted companionship. If he is open, it can help to have one or two mature believers, a pastor or Christian counselor, to walk with him at his own pace and quietly invite the Lord into those painful memories. It is not a quick fix, but God is patient and present in that process.

We pray that you may know the true deliverance which is wrought out by the Lord Jesus Christ. The Scripture declares that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. There is no curse that can stand against those who are in Him, for He bore in our place the sins and the curse which came of them, and by His blood we are bought with a price and set free. We ask the Lord that every evil and every work of darkness spoken against you and your son would be shown to be powerless, and that you would rest in the perfect redemption found in Christ alone. Deliverance from cruel captivity must be worked by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone, and He has found a ransom. We pray that you both would look to Him who was lifted up for our healing, for as those who looked to the brazen serpent found life, so there is life from sin and from its curse by looking to Him who was made sin for us.
We pray also for your son, that the Lord who is the great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below would grant him healing in body and in soul. We ask that the Sun of Righteousness would rise upon him with healing in His wings, for pardon and healing are one in Christ. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing to the wounded heart. We entreat the Lord to heal him of past hurts, that the joy of pardon would make him to forget the sorrow of the past, and that his life blood and his spirits would be renewed by grace. May the Lord change his nature and make him to know that his past sin is blotted out and his future is brightening into eternal glory.

We have heard your request and we join you in prayer before the Lord who alone is our deliverer.
The Scripture teaches that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, so that in Him we are blessed and free. We pray that you and your son will know this freedom deeply, that any fear of curses spoken against you would be ended, and that you would rest in the protection and peace that belong to those who are in Jesus Christ. It is in His name alone that we have salvation and deliverance, and we ask Him to establish your hearts in that truth, with careful hearing of His word and continual remembrance of His promises.
We pray also for your son. We ask the Lord to grant him health in body and soul, wisdom to lose weight safely and in a way that honors God who made the body, and strength and self control for daily choices. We pray for healing from past hurts, that the Lord who is the true physician would treat every wound, and that this house of prayer would be like a spiritual surgery where old injuries are healed and not deepened. May God give him fortitude, comfort in sorrow, and a growing love for hearing and living the word, so that his senses are exercised and his heart is renewed day by day.
We ask that God would surround you both with wise counsel, wholesome habits, and supportive community, and that He would help you to cast off all that hinders and to walk in the way that leads to life. We trust that even if fruit seems slow to appear, the Lord sees the root and will bring growth in His time, for He does not overlook even the smallest sigh offered in faith.
