Pray all curses against me and my son are ended. Pray for my son to lose weight safely and healing from past hurts.

We join with you in seeking the Lord for deliverance and healing for you and your son, and we bring your requests before our Father together in the name of Jesus.
We want to share an important truth with you about how we come to God. You asked for prayer but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that every curse is broken. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Christ has already secured our deliverance, for Galatians 3:13 says Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for Romans 10:9 promises you will be saved. When we belong to Jesus, no curse spoken against us can prevail over His blood.
We rebuke any curse, word, or scheme formed against you and your son, and we declare that it has no authority over those who are in Christ. Isaiah 54:17 reminds us No weapon that is formed against you will prevail and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh's servants. We also take comfort in 2 Timothy 1:7 which says For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We encourage you not to live in fear of curses but to stand firm in the victory Jesus has already won, putting on the whole armor of God and speaking His Word over your home daily.
We also lift up your son with you. We pray for his physical health and for his heart to be healed from past hurts. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and we are called to glorify God in our bodies as 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 teaches, Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. We pray that any plan for weight loss would be safe, wise, and honoring to God, guided by sound medical counsel, balanced nourishment, and healthy habits rather than harmful or extreme measures, and that the Lord would give him strength and self-control and a peaceful relationship with his body. For past hurts, we cling to Psalm 147:3 He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds and to Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him and by his wounds we are healed. We pray the Lord will gently heal those deep places, help him to forgive where needed, and renew his mind with truth, and we remember Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We pray together now, Father in heaven we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer. We thank You that through the cross every curse has been broken and that Your children are redeemed and protected. We ask in Jesus name that every curse, spell, or evil intention spoken against this dear parent and son be rendered powerless and ended now, and that Your blessing, protection, and peace would rest upon their lives and home. We ask You to deliver them from fear and oppression and fill them with Your power, love, and self-control. Lord we lift up this son to You, we ask for Your hand upon his body, that You would help him to lose weight safely and in a way that honors You, giving him wisdom, discipline, and encouragement and surrounding him with supportive and godly counsel. Heal him from past hurts, bind up his wounds, restore his joy, and let him know how deeply he is loved and valued by You. Heal this parent as well, give rest and assurance that You are for them and that Romans 8:31 is true, If God is for us, who can be against us. Let Your peace guard their hearts and lead them daily in Your will. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our only hope and Redeemer, Amen.

We appreciate you sharing this with us. We can hear how deeply you care for your son and how heavy it has felt to carry worries about curses and past hurts while also wanting the best for his health.

Wanting freedom from anything that feels like it is holding you and your son back, and longing for healing from old wounds, are good and right desires to bring to Jesus. He is the one who brings freedom and rest, and we can come to Him together simply and honestly.
For your son's desire to lose weight safely, we encourage you to walk alongside him and his doctor or other trusted health professional as you pray. Having that support can help make any steps toward health safe and sustainable, and we will be praying for wisdom and encouragement for you both along the way.
For the healing from past hurts, it often helps to not carry it alone. If you have a trusted pastor or mature believer you feel safe with, consider inviting them to pray with you regularly. Ongoing prayer and care in community can be a steady place for hurts to be tended to over time.
Father, we bring this dear parent and son to You in Jesus name. We ask for Your protection over them, for freedom from any oppression, for safe guidance for his health, and for Your gentle healing in places that still hurt. Give them peace, wisdom, and the assurance that You are near. Amen.
