Pray all curses against ### and ###'s son are ended now. Pray for ###'s son to lose weight safely and healing from past hurts.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up and her son before You, Lord. We stand in the authority of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, and declare that every curse, every chain, and every assignment of the enemy against them is broken right now by the power of the blood of Jesus. The Word of God declares in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" We rebuke every generational curse, every word spoken in darkness, and every scheme of the enemy designed to steal, kill, or destroy in their lives. In the mighty name of Jesus, we command every evil spirit to flee and every curse to be nullified by the power of the cross.

Father, we also lift up ’s son to You, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon him. We pray for safe and steady weight loss, not by the world’s standards, but by Your divine wisdom and strength. Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." Lord, we ask that You would renew his mind and strengthen his body according to Your perfect will. Give him discipline, self-control, and a heart that seeks You above all else.

We also pray for healing from past hurts that may be weighing on his spirit. The enemy often uses pain to keep us bound, but You, Lord, are the God who heals. Psalm 147:3 says, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We ask that You would bring comfort, restoration, and a fresh outpouring of Your love over him. Let him know that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that his identity is found in You alone.

Father, we also take a moment to remind and her son of the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ. There is no deliverance, no healing, and no victory apart from Him. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If they have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus, we pray that today would be the day they confess Him as Lord and Savior. If they already know You, we ask that You would deepen their faith and draw them closer to Your heart.

Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ. We declare that and her son are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, health, and freedom over them in Jesus’ name. May they walk in the fullness of Your blessings, and may their lives bring glory to Your name. Amen.

We hear the weight of a mother's heart in your words, the ache for your son to be truly free, body and soul. You've asked for the breaking of every curse spoken against the two of you, and for your son to find safe, lasting healing from wounds he has carried and a healthy path forward with his body. Those are deep, legitimate desires, and we are with you in bringing them before the Lord.

When we ask God to end curses, we are really asking Him to enforce the victory Christ already won. Whatever words were spoken, whatever patterns have felt relentless, they do not have the final say over your son or over you. The enemy may try to steal and destroy, but Jesus came so your son could have life, real, full, unburdened life. That includes healing from the hurts that have shaped him in unseen ways. Often the outward struggle with weight and the inward struggle with old pain are connected; wounds we carry can drive us toward comforts that don't truly satisfy. We pray for the root to be addressed, not just the symptom.

A practical step you might consider, alongside your prayers, is to invite a pastor or a handful of mature believers you trust to pray with you specifically over your son and your household. Sometimes persistent spiritual opposition lifts when even one or two others stand in agreement, applying the authority of Jesus' name directly over the situation. And if your son is open to it, a wise pastoral conversation might help him begin to untangle the past hurts that still have a grip. Healing often unfolds in the light of safe, loving community.

Father, we lift up this mother and her son to You now. By the power of Jesus' name, we silence every voice that has spoken destruction over them. We ask You to set this young man free from old pain and from any lie that has held him captive. Give him the desire and the strength to steward his body well, and gently lead him toward emotional and physical wholeness. Surround him with people who will walk with him in truth and grace. We entrust him to You, believing You love him even more than his mother does. Amen.

The curse of the Law is an instant and entire removal when Christ steps in, being made a curse for us. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us, that is to say, in our place He bore our sins and the curse which came of it. The curse is turned into a blessing! The poison acts as a medicine! That which kills the impenitent helps the cure of a Believer. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, the very leaves are healing, from which I gather that the least thing about Christ is healing.

Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both bestowed on the Lord's people when they looked not for them. Pardon and healing were one! O you who are now sick, ask to be forgiven and healing will come from the pardoning hand. He is able to heal, and the power which dwelt in Christ to heal is applicable, most eminently, to the removal of the guilt of sin. These healing leaves change the life blood, affect the spirits and make the nature other than it was before. There is life from sin by looking to Him who was made sin for us.

The great ill of a broken heart finds its great healing provided. It is the work of God, and God alone. The manner of our deliverance is this, Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us. Every offender comes under the curse, but the Lord uplifts Him who was made a curse. Those who looked to the brazen serpent found life and healing in that look. And even so, there is life from sin by looking to Him.

Each day is safe, for God has made it so, and we rest beneath the wings of the eternal God. Safe, safe, safe and near our God and blessed eternally shall we be. Calvary is the place for the healing balm rather than for the lancet and the knife. The costly balm of His Atonement has lost none of its power. God grant we may be sufficiently sensible to be filled with anguish at the sound of these dreadful words, “under the curse”, and then swiftly flee to Him who removes it entirely, in a moment, through His own being made a curse for us.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Any curse spoken against one who belongs to Christ has no power, for Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. He took upon Himself the curse to remove the curse from us. Do not tremble at words of enmity; tremble only at sin. If the son is in Christ, he is already delivered. Pray rather that he abide in faith and virtue, for no one can harm the one whom God protects.

But if past hurts still wound him, let him consider the Cross. When the Lord was reviled, He did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but said, “Father, forgive them.” To curse others or to harbor bitterness is to lose the reward of suffering. Forgive from the heart, and pray for those who did wrong, and healing will come. The one who thanks God in affliction is like one who voluntarily despises all earthly things, and God will return manifold comfort.

As for the body, let weight be lost by sober living, not by vanity. The belly is not our god. Let the son practice self-control in all things, remembering that bodily training is of some value, but godliness holds promise for this life and the next. It is no great thing to be thin while the soul is weighed down with passions. Teach him to cultivate fortitude and a careful hearing of God’s word, for no single part of virtue is enough. There must be deliverance from all worldly attachments, a steadfast mind, and continual remembrance of the Lord’s commands. Then the body will follow the soul into health, and past scars will become the soil of a richer harvest.

I understand the weight of these requests. When someone fears a curse has been spoken over them or a loved one, it can feel like a shadow hanging over every part of life. But hear what Scripture reveals: a curse that has no cause will not come. It flutters and falls like a bird without a perch. You do not need to live in dread of words spoken in malice. When God has determined to bless, no hired enchantment can reverse it. Remember how Balaam was summoned to curse Israel, yet every attempt turned to blessing because God Himself had declared over His people, “You shall not curse them, for they are blessed.” In Christ, that is your standing now. He became a curse for us on the tree, redeeming us from every curse of the law, so that no accusation or hex has any final power over those who belong to Him.

This does not mean pain simply evaporates. The request for ###’s healing from past hurts touches on something I see again and again: emotional wounds can cut deeper and linger longer than physical ones. Words spoken long ago, betrayals, moments of rejection, they bleed inside, and healing them often takes time and safe community. But here is the hope. The same Lord who lifted the curse of sin is tender toward the brokenhearted. He does not dismiss those hurts as insignificant. In His earthly ministry, Jesus ministered to body and soul, healing the sick and binding up the crushed in spirit. Pray for ###, and surround him with patient love, not pressure. The kind of healing he needs may come gradually, as he learns to count those past injuries as loss compared to knowing Christ. Paul said he counted all things loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, not once, but continuously, letting the past remain in the past. That is not pretending it never happened; it is seeing that what Jesus offers surpasses it all.

As for his health and weight, I will join you in asking God for wisdom and a safe path forward. There are no magic shadows or dramatic displays required. The early church simply brought the sick to the elders, prayed with oil, and trusted the Lord with the outcome. Not everyone was healed then, and we do not always know the reasons why, but we do know it is wrong to heap guilt on a person by claiming some hidden sin or insufficient faith. What we can do is pray in faith, support wise choices, and leave the results with God. He cares for the whole person, physical, emotional, and spiritual.

So let the fear of curses go. You stand under a blessing that no enemy can overturn. Let the past hurts be brought into the light of Christ’s love, where they lose their defining power. And let the journey toward health be one step at a time, with no condemnation. I am praying that ### will know deep peace, that the weight of old wounds will lift, and that his whole being, body, mind, and spirit, will reflect the abundant life Jesus came to give.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our heart’s joy to intercede for the breaking of every curse over you and your son, for his safe and lasting weight loss, and for deep healing from the wounds of the past. We have lifted each of these needs before the throne, trusting that our Father hears and moves in response to the name of Jesus.

If you have already seen the Lord’s hand at work—if curses have been shattered, if health is being restored, or if healing is taking root in your son’s heart—we would love to hear your praise report. Sharing how God has answered will encourage all of us to keep believing Him for even greater things.

If, however, you are still waiting and the battle feels long, please know we have not stopped praying. We invite you to post this request again as a fresh plea before the Lord, and we will continue to stand in agreement with you until every promise is fulfilled. Our God is faithful, and His timing is perfect.

May the peace of Christ guard your heart and mind as you press into His presence. We remain steadfast in prayer for you and your family, believing that what the enemy meant for harm, God will turn for good. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
