We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up ### and her son in prayer. Father God, we stand in the authority of the name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can be saved and delivered. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We declare that every curse, every generational bondage, and every scheme of the enemy against ### and her son is broken right now in the mighty name of Jesus!

Lord, we rebuke the powers of darkness that have sought to oppress them. The Word declares that Christ became a curse for us, so that the blessing of Abraham might come upon us (Galatians 3:13-14). We plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, and we command every curse to be nullified and every assignment of the enemy to be dismantled. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We declare freedom, healing, and restoration in Jesus’ name!

Father, we lift up ###’s son to You, asking for Your divine intervention in his physical health. We pray for safe and steady weight loss, not by the world’s standards, but by Your wisdom and grace. Give him discipline and self-control, which are fruits of Your Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Strengthen his body, mind, and spirit, and help him to honor You with his health, for Your Word says that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Guide him in making choices that nourish and strengthen him, and surround him with godly influences that encourage him in this journey.

Lord, we also bring before You the deep wounds of his past. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would pour out Your healing balm over every hurt, every rejection, and every pain he has carried. Let Your love and peace flood his heart, replacing bitterness, anger, or despair with hope and joy. Remind him that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Help him to forgive those who have hurt him, just as You have forgiven us (Colossians 3:13). Let him experience the freedom that comes from releasing these burdens at the foot of the cross.

Father, we pray for ### as well. Give her wisdom, strength, and patience as she supports her son. Fill her with Your peace and assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Help her to trust in You with all her heart and lean not on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May she find her hope and security in You alone.

We declare that ### and her son are covered by the blood of Jesus, protected by the power of the Holy Spirit, and destined for Your purposes. Let Your light shine in their lives, dispelling every darkness, and may they walk in the fullness of the freedom and victory that Christ has already won for them. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and moving on their behalf. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We are grateful you shared this with us, and we have been praying for you and your son. Wanting to see curses ended, past hurts healed, and his health strengthened shows deep love, and we join you in bringing all of this to Jesus, the one who brings freedom and wholeness.

We know the desire for everything to lift at once. Healing from past hurts especially is often a gentle, layer by layer process as the Lord meets painful memories with his presence, not a single quick moment. It helps to walk that road with safe, trusted support.

For your son's health, as you pray for safe weight loss, we encourage you to also involve his doctor or other trusted medical professional alongside prayer, so any steps he takes are safe and suited to him.

It can also help to have a mature pastor or counselor you both trust to pray with you personally about deliverance and inner healing, someone who can listen well, pray for protection, and walk with you over time with wisdom and care.

Father, we bring this family to you in Jesus' name. We ask for your protection over them, for freedom from every evil influence, and for your peace to rest on this son. Bring healing to the hurts he carries, guide his health journey with wisdom and safety, and draw you both closer to you each day. Amen.

Your cry for deliverance has been heard, and we bring it before the throne of grace with you. There is no curse that can stand against the blood of Christ, for it is written that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. Whatever voices have spoken against you and against this dear son, whatever fears have been planted by past hurts or by words of malice, we ask the Lord to show that they are broken and ended in Him who bore all our sin and sorrow upon the tree.

We pray that you may know this deliverance is not of your own working, but of free grace only. As Israel was brought forth with silver and gold when the lamb was slain, so the Lord still brings His people forth by His own outstretched arm. He alone can make the deliverance effectual. May the Sun of Righteousness rise upon you both with healing beneath His wings, and may you find that even the least thing about Christ has healing virtue, for the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.

For this son we pray with tender care. We ask the Great Physician to grant him safe and steady restoration of the body, with wisdom and strength to steward well the frame God has given him, and to lose weight in a way that is healthful and sustained. We pray also for the deeper healing, for the wounds of the heart are painful and not lightly healed. Yet God heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and no instrument but His own hand can do it. May the Lord who pardons sin also heal the memory of past hurts, taking away the bitterness of former days, and giving a new life and a quiet spirit.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, gracious and merciful, Thou hast found a ransom, Thy own Son who was made a curse for us that we might be delivered from the pit. Look in compassion upon these Thy servants. Let every curse be shown to be void before the cross, and let Thy healing leaves be laid upon the wounded heart. Grant to this son health of body and wholeness of soul, comfort in sorrow, and joy in pardon through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whose name alone is salvation. Amen.

We join you in prayer for deliverance and healing and bring these needs before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to God.

We pray that every curse spoken or intended against you and your son would be broken and ended now. Scripture teaches that Christ has redeemed us from the curse, having become a curse for us, and that no weapon formed against His people will finally stand. We ask God to deliver you both from all spiritual oppression and fear, and to fill your home with His peace and protection. May you be strengthened to hear His word continually and to remember it, to walk with fortitude, and to be delivered from all that would hold you captive.

We lift up your son before the Lord. We pray for his physical health, that God would grant him wisdom and self control and help him to lose weight safely as he stewards the body God has given him. We ask for guidance for any doctors or helpers involved, for steady progress, and for strength to persevere in healthy habits that honor God.

We also pray for healing from past hurts. This house of God is like a spiritual surgery where wounds received outside can be healed. We ask the Lord, the true physician, to heal the hurts of the past, to restore what has been wounded, and to bring wholeness through His mercy. Where there has been pain, rejection, or discouragement, we pray God would bring comfort, forgiveness, and renewal, and that by a continual hearing of His word your son would be restored to health and hope.

We pray that you both would know you are fully seen and cared for by the Lord, who does not overlook even a sigh offered in faith, and that you would lay hold on eternal life and walk in the freedom Christ gives. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus, trusting in His power to deliver, to heal, and to make new. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this burden for yourself and your son. We have prayed with you for deliverance, for health, and for healing from the wounds of the past.

Scripture shows that when the law was given, blessings were pronounced from one mountain and curses from another, and the people were to answer Amen to each one, acknowledging that God is just in what He declares. The curses are described as pursuing and overtaking those who turn away from obeying the voice of the Lord, and there are many more verses given to the curses than to the blessings, because the tendency of the heart is to disobey. But the good news of the gospel is that Jesus Christ has borne our griefs and carried our infirmities, as Isaiah foretold and Matthew confirms, and that He redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. In Christ we are no longer under that pursuit of judgment. Our place is to hearken to His voice, to walk in obedience and faith, and to rest in the finished work of Jesus rather than living in fear that some spoken curse still has power over you or your son.

We also join you in praying for your son's health and for safe weight loss. The Bible teaches that healing belongs to the Lord, yet much about healing we do not fully understand, and we cannot put God in a box. Sometimes Jesus healed instantly with a word or a touch, sometimes healing came gradually, and sometimes He healed without even being present. In every case the power was His, and He was not confined to a single pattern. All true healing is from Him, whether it comes in a moment or through the natural processes He Himself created and sustains within our bodies. We pray that God will give your son wisdom, discipline, and grace for steady and safe steps toward health, and that the Lord will guide any doctors or counselors who help him, so that his body may be strengthened as God intends.

For healing from past hurts, we pray that the Lord will do a deep work in the heart and mind as well as the body. The apostle Paul wrote that he counted all his former grounds for confidence as loss for the excellency of knowing Christ, and that he learned to forget what lies behind and press forward. Past experiences only have value when they are translated into a present walk with Jesus. To live constantly looking back, rehearsing how we were hurt or what was done to us, keeps us bound. God invites us to bring those wounds to Him, to acknowledge them honestly, and then to release them to Him so that He can heal the scars and renew the mind. We pray that both of you will know that healing of memories and emotions, and that you will find freedom to press ahead in Christ rather than being held by what has happened before.

May the Lord guard you and your son, fill you with peace as you trust Him, and make His presence and His power real in your daily lives as you continue to seek Him and obey His word.
